Easy restore of files. Multiple versions of files are kept locally and on the cloud. Pros Easy granular restore, even with Exchange mailboxes. Backups are on cloud, so disaster recovery is ensured. Cons The cost of Cloud storage is high. Full restore can be complicated. Mac backup functionalities are limited. The process lets you know via email when it completed and if it was successful. With a backup system that keeps the data not only on site but remote (in the cloud) it protects out data to the maximum. The best I've seen in years. We were looking for something better but what we found was more revolutionary than we even expected. The QBR allows us to take our backups but in a much quicker fashion. We can take 2-3 backups a day for each server (incremental in a few minutes for 500 Gb SQL Server VHD for example). But the QBR adds the following functionality: - Cloud backup : You can decide how many backups you keep on the cloud - Virtualized backups : You can start any server either on the QBR or in the Cloud, for any backup that was taken. This allows for debugging, file restore, or more advanced restore (program configuration, ...). This also will allow a company to develop a continuity plan in case of a loss of local infrastructure. As a bonus, the granular Exchange restore has been a life saver a few times! As for file restore, in a couple minutes the restore is done! We've been using this solution for 3 years now and it has been very reliable. The few times that we had to resolve issues were quickly handled by the reseller and technical support. Overall, we're very satisfied and I would strongly recommend anyone still on tape and willing to improve on their data security (and ultimately on their business continuity) to strongly consider the investment!
