Pros

The software is extremely intuitive during the set-up and configuration process. I really like the ability to customize as well. The final results is a professional and consistent platform for all of our visitors.

Cons

I've been using the system for about a week and I haven't found any gaps in the process. The customer support is extremely professional and helpful at all times.

Pros

Allows us to better document visitor/contractor traffic and just have a better system overall.

Cons

Better initial support for setup/roll out, however this may be at the company level vs Traction Guest.

Pros

Traction Guest is extremely flexible while being easy to use. the system provides a simple user interface for registering guests configured through an easy-to-use graphic workflow screen. The company is in a rapid development mode continually enhancing the system with new capabilities and features. We were able to deploy an "unmanned" kiosk while maintaining validation of background checks, visitor logging and dynamic badging for all of our visitors. This has been a significant productivity and cost saving addition for our firm.

Cons

Initial start up of the system was slower than expected while new features were being developed. Now that many of them are complete, the system is fully operational and working well.

Traction Guest has helped us check in clients and notify their hosts quickly and easily. The sign in process is very customizable as well. I am able to add new features and change the over all process in no time if need be. Bryan has been amazing at helping us with any questions we have had and provides a fast response every time! I would definitely recommend Traction to others.

The hosts list does not scroll all the way to see all the names on our IPad device, although if you search the name it pops up.

I have to connect the to the printer manually every morning I log in to my account. I wish it connected automatically so I don't have to open the app to connect.

Pros

It is so easy to use, and set up. Guests really like the sign in process, always commenting on how efficient it is. The customer service team are second to none! Their response time is always so quick and no question is too little or annoying!

Cons

I have not come across any cons yet, although it would be great if you were able to preview any changes you make before saving them. I am able to use a second iPad to view the changes as I make them so not a big deal but would be a great addition!

Pros

I really like how detailed and easy-to-use the visitor experience tool is. This tool allowed us to add exactly what we needed for each of our visitor categories without needing any coding or developing experience. The interface itself is also very usable.

Cons

I wish that the software allowed organizations to tailor a fixed message of general visitor info for the pre-registration portion and upload documents without having to enter them each time you want to pre-register a visitor or send them separately. It would also be nice to both pre-register AND send an email invite simultaneously to the visitor without having to do each step separately.

We just entered those into our development team for consideration and prioritization. As a quick heads up, in our next release the invite email will automatically pick up the name and email address of the person sending it (instead of having to enter it manually). Sort of neat one that you might like.

Pros

There is no need to train people for the sign in portion. The administrative side is well laid out and easy to use.

We know who is in the building, who they are here to see and when they have leave. And even if no one is at the front desk the host knows they have someone here to see them.

Pros

How easy it is to use, anything from setting up a simple to a complex sign in experience is quick and easy.

Cons

The experience UI can get a little cluttered if you have a lot of choices pages that branch off to other options.

as the product is still in its infancy, some features not fully available, but a simple conversation or a feature vote can be requested and those features are very likely to be on a roadmap.

We used this software at my last company and when I moved onto another job, I recommended this software when I was asked to implement a visitor management system. It is simple to use for the visitor and that is what is most important!

Pros

Flexibility and customization, while we are using Traction Guest as it was developed at the basic level, we are also utilizing the platform in ways Traction had never dreamed of. They have partnered and supported us throughout the process so far! The opportunity is endless!

Highly customizable with easy to use template add-ons and features to fine-tune the user experience!

Cons

No Outlook add-in/plug-in for directly registering a guest for a host (since everyone uses Outlook), it makes more sense to do it there, rather than go into the web portal to sign up a guest. Would be great to have that integration in a future software update!

Traction Guest was quick and relatively simple to setup and implement, and integrated well into our current environment. It has made our sign in process much easier to record and monitor. We also like that we have the freedom to customize the user experience and tailor the sign in process to the different types of guests that walk through the door, whether it be a Customer, Contractor, Vendor or Inspector. The sign in process is simple and easy to navigate for guests, and the staff like that they can be notified by email and/or text when their guests arrive. Customer support has been a been excellent. They are quick to respond to issues and are knowledgeable about their product.
