I have been using it for many many years and I have nothing bad to say about it. It works great for our small business.

Pros

Data Analysis,Monitoring, Security. Easy to install and maintain. Good overall features for the price.

Cons

I am still sticking to the classic version of since the new one has a lot of other features I don't need at the moment.

Overall it's solid software with good features to help you optimise your website. It's been frustrating at times with recording not playing properly but it has helped us improve user experiences and our conversion rates have increased.

Pros

I've used LO on and off for 10+ years. I really like the UIX updates they have made more recently. Everything is easy to find and filter and it has been useful to optimise our website, resulting

Cons

The data can be slow to load sometimes which is understandable and we have a lot of traffic on our site. But the biggest issue is watching recordings - if I scrub through videos they often pause and can't be played again, or start just showing the site footer and not the users actual interaction with the website which can be frustrating.

It's been ok. I thought the product would do more to be honest. The support is good, when it wasn't working properly the team kept working at it until they had it sorted. We are in month 2 and still undecided if we will keep it.

Pros

I like how you can see page specific information and see exactly when customers are using your site and what fot.

Cons

Can't get specific customer data without A LOT of work on our side. This is the one area I think is lacking. I can see the data on the screen but can't export it with all the needed data. We have to do a lot of manipulation at our end.

You can enable custom user data through additional configuration on your end, ensuring that you have complete control over what information, if any, is passed to Lucky Orange. Our team has been working with you on adding this custom code and have confirmed it is working properly at this time. Our platform does not have the ability to identify anonymous website visitors. You would need to use another 3rd party service that allows you to identify unknown website traffic. We have also passed along the feedback related to exporting that customer information to our product development team for future consideration. is a great tool! It's probably the most user friendly and visually appealing that I've tried so far.

Pros

was extremely easy to setup. It was also very user friendly so I was able to get started, look at the analytics and watch online visitor sessions almost immediately.

Cons

I can't say that I've come up against any cons quite yet but one thing to note pricing is structured based on how many monthly sessions you'd like captured per month. At the rate that our own website is going, we'll definitely hit the 10,000 monthly sessions that was recommended, which means we'll have to be cognizant of the monthly subscription fees.

I like it. I went from a free service to now a paid. I want to utilize what it offers, or I may go back to Microsoft Clarity. We are a very small boutique brand and every dollar matters.

Pros

My team and I like the daily reports. The segmentations in the heat map. Identifying the location on the visitor. My mentor SABIR loves , so I think it deserves more stars, I just don't know if I am getting the value for my brand.

Cons

I have been wanting to schedule my free call, but I live outside of the US and there is no times that work with my team as we are in the Singapore time zone. Therefore I signed up for one of the trainings, which was very early for me, and it didn't seem like a live call. It could have just been emailed to me and my team. I am not getting the most out of . The customer service is just OK.

We are able to catch any customer experiences that may hinder our business, simply by watching their experience on our site. Tremendous help!

Don't really have anything negative to say at this point. Maybe if there were a way to contact customers who visited the site.

pretty nice. I haven't used the paid version long term because I'm cheap. I would like to have more control over what displays in my dashboard, since I am not using parts of the product, and I just have to bypass it to find the nested info I want to find.

I dont like the difficulty in finding things. The IA or taxonomy are things I need to memorize, rather than intuit.

It has been quite good and was a good transition away from another provider we used to have that didn't really give us the information we needed.

Pros

I like that it provides a very easy display of your heatmapping so that you can make changes and adjustments to your site/landing pages for better conversion.

Cons

The funnel feature doesn't seem to work at all. It doesn't accurately track how far people make it through your funnel...and the data retention that has is quite minimal. It'd be great if we could see data that extends beyond 60 days...

We have been using since the end of Q2 (paid) (we had used the free version prior). We use Lucky Orange heatmaps and playbacks to understand where some issues / broken links etc we had on our site to help us get up and running. We have also used it to better understand what the most loved features on the site are, and where we can improve otherwise.

Intuitive user interface, SO many features, great support and easy to to onboard / get started

Cons

I wish that we could stay live on the site chat without having the window open. Or getting slack notification when someone chats!

The stats the website can provide, as in total views, where they come from, and the different segmentation it can provide (by time, by location, by browser, etc)

Cons

The learning curve so far has been a bit steeper than expected. It's not a bad thing per se, but to truly make the most of the analytics it provides requires time and effort and even then I am a bit unsure if I am underutilizing the tool.

### "Complexities in Customization + Simplicity in Presentation = Perfection"

You all were very accommodating in extending our free trial period when I couldn't get our Support team to install the script in time. Very quick and friendly responses so far. Again, very well thought out UX/UI on you guys' part. I was surprised at how granular some of the settings got. We tend to be one of those... highly involved, particular type customers who have a lot of custom requests. We're also fairly techy, so we like being able to do things ourselves. I found you really thought things through without us even having to ask.

Pros

This tool is not only clean and simplistic on the customer facing side, but within the dashboard as well. offers a wide variety of products for a great price. The products are very intuitive to walk through and setup your first time around. Even with the visual simplicity, there are still loads of customization options for every feature they provide. It's almost as if each question I had next on how I may want to tailor the tool or customer experience even further, they had already thought of that question and build it into the next steps of setup. I am very impressed with the value provided!

Cons

The only thing that was a little difficult for me (and this may just be me) was that I almost wanted one primary icon/section on the left navigation that included all products instead of having to switch back and forth between Analytics and Communication, etc. to get to Chat vs Heatmaps, for example. It was the only thing not 100% intuitive to me, but I also see how the way you have it split up keeps it clean and minimal, so I may just need to get used to it. I just found myself clicking around a few times trying to get back to whatever feature I was previously looking at. Maybe an expandable menu option that extends so you can see the items in each section right there on the left bar instead of having to click? Or hover-to-view option? But where people could disable that if they didn't need it.

Reason for choosing Lucky Orange

VWO we liked because I was slightly familiar with it when I was with another company and it had very cool A/B Testing capabilities that I have not seen anywhere else. When we were looking to replace HotJar, we were looking to also find a platform that had A/B Testing available, until time got the best of us. VWO proved to be very complex and VERY expensive. Plus, with their overseas support, we could not get quick or clearly communicated responses from anyone when we had further quetions. SmartLook has similar features and pricing to , but their dashboard and user interface was not very intuitive. Lots of information, but not organized in a way that seems very efficient. Once we also played with the Chat/Announcements/Surveys in Lucky Orange, which SmartLook does not have all of from what I saw, we were sold on Lucky Orange. It sparked many marketing ideas with my team which is awesome.

### "Honest Review Of A Lucky Orange User"

is an awesome app. It was one of the first apps I installed in my site so that I can immediately improve my site based on user recorded feedback.

Pros

I love watching the recordings as my customers travel around my site. I love the chat feature as well.

Cons

I used the previous version of this app in a previous store. I prefer the look and feel of the previous version when it comes to the visitors page. I was able to easily see which recordings I already watched. With this version, there is no indication distinguishing between a watched and an not watched recording.

It was great when we first started using it; provided us with much-needed insight. But with the change in pricing and lack of product improvements, it's hard to justify the monthly cost.

Pros

I like the user interface and how data is displayed.

Cons

The pricing change made it less attractive for the value we received.

Pros

So far I am liking the clean user interface and the wordings / language is clear and helpful (and friendly) and the UX is easy to understand and engage and easy to find what features I am looking for.

Cons

The CART OVERVIEW in the Customer View is NOT showing if their is any products left / abandoned in the customer cart - this feature I understand you are working on and would be great to see.

Collaboration between myself and IX Designer decided that we liked features and pricing best.

### "Very Convenient Website Observation & Analytics"

Pros

The UI combined with easy to learn functionality makes an easy use case for our business. Using it has really helped us understand where our customers come from and how they interact with our site.

Cons

No Cons really. Adding more functionality and features with further 3rd party integrations may make some sense.

### "Great website monitoring and UX analysis tool at a great price"

Easy to deploy, loads of features, great price.

Pros

Luckyorange is shockingly good value for money, with great features that exceed the competition, I honestly don't know how they do it.

Cons

In the recent update, there was some bugs/lag in screen loading but this is now largely resolved.
