### "Great software for tracking vacation days for a remote team"

Pros

We have team members from many countries, each with different holidays and we also have some additional processes implemented where colleagues get a day off for helping team members or contributing towards a company goal. Bindle has made it easy to track all of these with ease.

Cons

We have used the software for less than 6 months. I don't have dislikes as of now.

We were using manual tracking of leave booking on our internal wiki. Was a pain for our financial controller to manage and track bookings and balances. Pros - Easy to setup and get going - works on mobile - wall chart is nice to view what's happening in the team - not expensive for 30 people to use - responsive to suggestions of improvements Cons Doesn't integrate to Saasu for payroll

I am quite happy with this software. I also like that you can book in half days and opt to have leave with no pay.

Pros

i can see wall charts of everyone who is taking time off, makes it easy to see it all there rather that have bits of paper everywhere.

Pros

The balance of annual leave! It used to be a pain having to calculate it. It is easy, intuitive and simple to navigate The combi-van icon makes me feel cool and makes you feel friendly

Cons

Nothing. Could perhaps have a bit more flexibility for days off that do not discount for leave (for example making up a day that one worked on the weekend)

Pros

With Bindle, I can easily find data history within a click or two. Then I can approve days off with the convenient link emailed

Cons

At this time, I sometimes find that I have to get re-familiarized with Bindle since I only go in a few times a month. Once I'm working within the program, I must say I get brought back up to speed quickly

Replaces the old spreadsheet with an easy to use, simple interface for cloud bookings and approval process. Allows staff to easily view current leave entitlements and calculate future balance. Syncs well with google calendars and easy to export information.

Being able to go away from analog PTO requests and accelerating the process through automation has saved us countless hours already. Very easy to adjust settings and even enter dates/requests from the past. Big fans!

Pros

Simplicity of use, and customer support is amazing.

Cons

Website isn't an app. I think our team would benefit from being able to access from a phone app.

Pros

Simple to use and staff absolutely love being able to predict their holiday leave balance in advance.

Cons

Had some trouble figuring out how to accurately move our existing data to ensure accrual was precise. I recommend implementing customisable reports.

It's simple, easy to use and does the basics required to track leave.

Cons

I can't get an overview or summary of all leave taken by individual. I keep the finance records and would find this useful, rather than having to go into each person's record.

Pros

Love that it gives a projected estimate of PTO time for future dates after taking into account any PTO that has already been scheduled.

Cons

Remote working days appear as "out of office" on our Google calendar. Actual PTO days show up as "out of office" too, which is confusing.

Hi Amanda - Thanks for the review. Yes, you're right! Labelling remote work days as "Out Of Office" is not really very helpful, is it? To address this we've just added a little (optional) setting to reveal the actual type of time off in the Bindle calendar feed. It's a setting against each time off type. Your Bindle admin will have access to this. This is a great little option to make the feed more informative in cases where showing the type of time off taken is not a privacy concern. Thanks for the great feedback and we hope this new option we've just added helps!

Our organisation implemented Bindle after a horrible manual process of recording leave. I never knew what my balance was, and if it was calculated correctly. Bindle is really easy, intuitive and seems to work well both for employees and management.

Pros

I like how this software Integrates with Google Calendar seamlessly. I also like the interface of Bindle is easy to maneuver.

Cons

"Wallchart" is a confusing name for the staff's calendar. I don't have too much else that I don't like about the program. I'm very satisfied!

Very positive! I've received quick, detailed responses anytime I've reached out to Bindle for support.

Pros

Very simple to set up. Intuitive interface without too many unnecessary bells and whistles. My staff finds it easy to use.

Cons

I wish there was more customization options for vacation policies with more specific accruals. (For example, earning a certain number of days of vacation based on the number of months you've worked at the company.)
