### "A Core Part of My Data Pipeline"

April 18, 2026

4.0

Overall, Apify has become a core part of how I run my wholesale real estate business. It replaced expensive list services and days of manual research with automated, on-demand data pulls that feed directly into my acquisition pipeline. The platform isn't the most beginner-friendly out of the box, but once past the initial ramp-up it runs reliably and delivers real ROI. For anyone who needs recurring structured data without a full dev team, it's a strong choice.

Pros

The pre-built Actor library is the standout feature — it covers most of the sites I target without needing to build anything from scratch. Pair that with reliable scheduling, seamless data exports, and genuinely useful documentation, and it's a platform that earns its place in my workflow. The time and cost savings compared to manual research or third-party list services have been significant.

Cons

The learning curve is real. Understanding compute units, decoding actor-specific pricing structures, and knowing which Actor to use for a given job all take more time than they should. The dashboard also feels cluttered and a bit redundant when you're managing multiple scrapers simultaneously. A cleaner UI would up my overall score.

Reason for choosing Apify

The Actor library in Apify is comprehensive. It meets my current needs and looks to be sufficient for expansion down the road.

Integrating Apify into my business has been an absolute game-changer for our growth. It seamlessly handles the heavy lifting of my day-to-day operations, giving me the bandwidth to focus on high-level strategy and scaling. What I love most is how intuitive and adaptable it is—it genuinely feels custom-built for my workflow. My productivity has skyrocketed, and the impact on my bottom line was almost immediate. If you are serious about taking your business to the next level and streamlining your systems, Apify is absolutely worth the investment

Pros

Apify has completely transformed the way I manage and scale my business. Before using it, I was bogged down by repetitive tasks and struggling to keep operations organized. Now, it serves as the backbone of my daily workflow. The features have saved me countless hours each week, allowing me to focus heavily on actual growth strategies rather than getting stuck in the weeds. Since integrating Apify, I've seen a massive increase in efficiency and overall output. It's not just a tool; it's a vital partner in my business growth. If you're looking for a reliable solution to elevate your operations, I highly recommend giving Apify a try

Cons

Rate limit numbers and access to more platforms. More easily accessible tools to understand what can be used. Possibly an AI assistant to help you understand how to use all the different tools that are available and what costs they are.

### "Apify saved us tons of time."

February 28, 2026

5.0

We plugged Apify into our backend to pull Google Maps reviews for businesses on our platform. Took maybe a day to get the API integration working, which was faster than I expected. The sync runs on a cron job now and we don't really think about it anymore, it just works. We did have to try a couple different actors before finding one that returned clean data consistently, but once we landed on the right one it's been solid. For a two-person team building a SaaS, not having to build and maintain our own scraping infrastructure saved us weeks of work we couldn't afford to spend.

Pros

The API is dead simple. You send a request, you get structured JSON back. No need to manage proxies, headless browsers, or parsing logic. We picked up a Google Maps reviews actor from their store and had it running in our backend within hours. Data quality is consistent and the response includes everything in one shot: review text, ratings, reviewer profiles, owner responses, place metadata.

Cons

Some of the actors in the store aren't great. I tried a couple that had bad documentation or just returned weird data, so it took me a few tries to find the one that actually worked for our use case. Also wish there was a way to estimate how much a run will cost before you actually run it, because I've had a couple surprise bills when I was still tweaking the settings.

### "Incredible ROI and automation for both B2B and NGOs"

May 9, 2026

5.0

The value for money is fantastic, especially considering you don't need to pay for external proxy providers or AWS servers to run your code. Also, their customer support is top-tier; they are actually human, responsive, and incredibly supportive of non-profit initiatives.

Pros

Apify abstracted away all the headaches of web scraping for me. I use it heavily for USE.NGO to aggregate European job postings. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to configure runs, monitor usage, and set up webhooks. What really stands out is their approach to data management and security. I can confidently run authenticated scrapers knowing the environment is secure, and the data comes out in perfectly clean JSON or CSV formats ready for our database. As a Demand Gen professional, I also use it to scrape B2B data for lead generation campaigns. The productivity improvement is night and day—you set it, forget it, and let the data flow.

Cons

You have to keep an eye on your compute usage. If you write or configure an inefficient scraper, it can chew through your credits faster than expected.

Good! Fullfills our needs for now. It was quick to set up and the actors are mostly reliable. We are pretty happy with the results.

Pros

It’s cheap and easy to set up, and it offers good value for the price. Especially for low volume monthly requests.

Cons

The actors can be unreliable at times, and the overall UX/UI could be improved for a smoother experience.

### "Great Platform for Building and Managing Automation Workflows"

May 31, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Apify has been positive. I started using it while participating in the Apify $1M Challenge and used it to build and publish automation Actors. The platform helped me collect information, automate repetitive tasks, and experiment with automation workflows without managing my own infrastructure. The user interface was easy to navigate after the initial learning phase, and the platform offered good value by combining deployment, monitoring, storage, and scheduling capabilities in one service. Customer support was responsive when I experienced verification issues, and the team stayed engaged until the matter was resolved. While there are areas that could be improved, particularly around onboarding and verification, I found the platform reliable, useful, and well suited for developers working on automation and data collection projects. Although lead generation was not my primary use case, I can see how the data collection and automation capabilities could support lead generation workflows for businesses.

Pros

What I liked most about Apify was the combination of flexibility and ease of use. The user interface made it simple to deploy Actors, monitor runs, and review logs without needing multiple tools. The platform also provides good value for money by handling hosting, scheduling, storage, and execution in one place. I primarily used it for automation and information collection projects, and it significantly reduced the amount of time required to manage infrastructure. I also found the platform reliable for my use cases, with very few operational issues during normal usage.

Cons

The biggest issue I encountered was with the identity verification and payout process. The automated system repeatedly rejected valid documents and did not provide enough information about why they were being rejected, making troubleshooting difficult. There is also a learning curve for new users, particularly when first understanding concepts such as Actors, datasets, and deployments. While customer support was helpful, I believe the onboarding experience and verification workflow could be improved to reduce confusion and potential issues.

### "Highly recommend!"

May 11, 2026

5.0

Apify has been a game-changer for my business. It’s made collecting and automating data so much easier, saving me hours of manual work. The platform is reliable, flexible, and super powerful once you start using it. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their workflows and scale more efficiently.

Pros

1\. Powerful web scraping at scale Apify makes it easy to extract data from websites—even complex or dynamic ones. Whether you're pulling leads, product data, or social media insights, it handles large-scale scraping reliably. 2. Automation that saves serious time You can automate repetitive workflows (like data collection, monitoring, or updates), which frees up hours in your week and keeps your business running more efficiently in the background. 3. Flexible + developer-friendly ecosystem With ready-made “Actors” and the option to build custom ones, Apify works for both beginners and advanced users. It integrates well with other tools, making it easy to plug into your existing systems and scale as you grow.

Cons

1\. Steeper learning curve for non-technical users While Apify is incredibly powerful, getting started—especially with custom Actors or more advanced workflows—can feel overwhelming if you’re not technical. The UI and documentation could be simplified or paired with more beginner-friendly, step-by-step onboarding paths. 2. Debugging and error visibility When something breaks (which can happen often with scraping due to site changes), it’s not always immediately clear why. More intuitive error messages, visual debugging tools, or guided troubleshooting would make a big difference—especially for users running multiple automations. 3. Pricing clarity and predictability Costs can scale quickly depending on usage (compute units, proxies, etc.), and it’s not always obvious upfront how much a task will cost. A clearer pricing estimator or real-time cost tracking during runs would help users stay in control of their budget.

### "Best scraping infra we've used. Period"

May 9, 2026

5.0

Apify has been one of the highest-leverage tools in our stack. We came in needing a scraping layer for our agent pipeline and didn't want to spend weeks building proxies, schedulers, and storage from scratch. Within a day, we had pre-built actors pulling structured listings off freelance boards into a clean dataset, wired into our pipeline via the REST API. Eight months in, it's still the layer doing the heaviest lifting — quietly, reliably, and for a fraction of what a dedicated scraping engineer or self-hosted stack would cost. The platform is mature in the ways that matter: schedules, run history, dataset storage, and observability all come out of the box. The API is clean enough that wiring it into a Claude-based agent took an afternoon, not a sprint. The Actor Store covers most common targets, and when something isn't there, the SDK and CLI make custom actors realistic. The friction points are real but bounded — plan caps bite on spiky workloads, Actor Store quality is inconsistent, and the local dev loop could be tighter. None of those have been dealbreakers, and the tradeoffs are honest for what you get. For a small team building scraping into a product rather than running one-off pulls, Apify is the right foundation.

Pros

Apify's strongest card is how fast it gets you from "we need scraping" to scraping running in production. The pre-built Actor Store covers most common targets out of the box — we had Scout pulling structured listings off freelance boards within an hour of signing up. Beyond that, it's a proper infrastructure platform, not just a scraper: schedules, datasets, key-value stores, proxies, and a clean REST API all sit behind the same account, so wiring it into an agent pipeline is straightforward. The compute-unit pricing scales predictably for mixed workloads, and the observability — run history, dataset views, logs per run — means you can debug a broken scrape without rebuilding your own monitoring stack. For a small team, it does the work of an entire scraping engineer.

Cons

The plan caps are punishing for spiky workloads. Once you hit the monthly compute limit, everything stops dead — no soft overage, no pay-as-you-go top-up that doesn't push you up a whole tier. Actor Store quality is also wildly inconsistent: pre-built actors are a strength when they work, but there's no clear signal of which ones are actively maintained vs abandoned, and we've had selectors silently break mid-pipeline. The local dev story is the third weak spot — iterating on actor inputs or debugging a failing run usually means pushing up and waiting for a cloud run, instead of a clean "run this locally with the same environment as cloud" mode. None of these are dealbreakers, but they're the friction points worth knowing about going in.

### "Great Nitter alternative"

June 3, 2025

5.0

Apify has been really good to me. They have a well designed website where it's generally easy to find things. Their actor marketplace is surprisingly large. There is a variety of budget actors, and really expensive actors, but that's not really a complaint, that just means those actors aren't for me! I'm pretty budget conscious so I do lots of shopping around. I've been using Twitter scraping services and I've found a few that are really good, reliable services so I can get the business data I need.

Pros

I like that Apify has a huge marketplace of data vendors. I personally am only using offerings which provide twitter scraping, but there are all sorts of other social media scraping actors which I could potentially use in the future.

Cons

The pricing on Apify is kind of confusing. They have a subscription fee, then on top of that there are different kinds of pricings per each actor. Things like usage based, and pay-per-result. It's not completely clear how much I'm going to be paying every month, which is not great, but there are subscription plan limits so I suppose that's going to protect me from any surprises.

### "Fast, Reliable, and Excellent Web Scraping Tool"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Pros

What I liked most about Apify is that it is exceptionally great and fast. The platform's user interface is very straightforward, making it incredibly easy to set up data extraction tasks. It saves a massive amount of time on information collection.

Cons

There can be a slight learning curve if you are completely new to web scraping. Additionally, the pricing plans might feel a bit expensive if you need to run very large-scale or continuous data scraping operations, but it still offers good value

### "Reliable web data backbone for automation and lead mining"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Overall my experience with Apify has been very positive. It has replaced a lot of fragile scripts and manual data collection, and now most of our lead and market data flows in automatically on a schedule. Once an actor is stable, it becomes a reusable building block we can drop into new automations and services for clients.

Pros

Apify gives me a reliable web data backbone without running my own scraping infra. Actors handle proxies, captchas, and scheduling, and I just work with clean JSON. It is flexible enough for custom use cases but still easy to plug into tools like Make, CRMs, and databases.

Cons

There is a learning curve for non-technical users, especially around actors, datasets, and mapping results. When you manage many actors, the UI can feel a bit crowded, and I would like stronger built-in dashboards and alerting. None of these are deal breakers, but they are areas that could improve.

### "The Ultimate Swiss Army Knife for Web Scraping and Automation"

June 3, 2026

5.0

Steep Learning Curve for Custom Actors: Building complex, bespoke scrapers requires solid coding knowledge. Pricing Can Explode Quickly: Memory consumption and proxy usage costs can accumulate rapidly on large-scale runs. Platform-Dependent Breaking: If a target website updates its UI, the corresponding Actor breaks until updated. Complex Documentation: While detailed, the sheer volume of documentation can be overwhelming for beginners. UI Clutter: The cloud console has so many features that navigating it feels a bit cluttered initially. Credit Burn on Failed Runs: If a custom script loops or fails, it still consumes your paid computing credits.

Pros

Massive Store of Ready-Made Actors: The Apify Store offers hundreds of pre-built scrapers for popular platforms (Instagram, Google Maps, TikTok). No-Code Friendly yet Developer-First: It perfectly bridges the gap between non-technical users and hardcore developers. Flawless Residential Proxy Integration: The built-in proxy rotation seamlessly bypasses strict anti-scraping mechanisms and CAPTCHAs. Serverless Infrastructure: You don't have to worry about provisioning servers; the platform scales your tasks automatically. Comprehensive API and Webhooks: Integrating scraping workflows into existing CRM or database pipelines is incredibly straightforward. Robust Dataset Exporting: Data can be downloaded instantly in clean JSON, CSV, Excel, or XML formats. Excellent JavaScript/Python SDKs: Writing custom scrapers using Crawlee is highly efficient and well-documented. Great Free Tier: The generous monthly cloud credits allow for thorough testing before committing financially.

### "Amazing experience with Apify"

April 14, 2026

5.0

I have had an amazing experience using Apify for my data projects. It is hands down the most reliable platform I have found for web scraping and automation. The pre built actors save me so much time and the cloud infrastructure is rock solid. I was able to get my first task running in minutes without any major hiccups. Its definitely a game changer for anyone who needs clean data at scale. Highly recomend it to anyone looking to automate their manual workflows!

Pros

It had been an amazing experience using Apify. Nothing had been any easier to scrape information before. The credits are also generously deducted and the base tier would mostly fulfill all your daily requirements. It is super easy to set up and there is a huge library of scrapers created by many individuals that you can simply use. Highly recommended.

Cons

The only real downside for me is that the pricing tiers can jump up a bit fast if you start scaling many actors at once. Also some of the more niche scrapers have a slight learning curve if you aren't familiar with their documentation but honestly their support team is so quick to help that it hardly matters in the end.

### "The best platform for turning web scraping into a scalable business"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Pros

Deploy once, run forever. Apify handles proxies, scaling, storage, and scheduling so I can focus on extraction logic instead of DevOps. The pay-per-result Store model turned my scrapers into products. The TypeScript SDK is clean, the API is consistent across all resources, and the recent MCP server support makes it trivial to connect scrapers to LLM agents. Webhooks and integrations work reliably for production workflows.

Cons

Build failures on the platform often produce unhelpful error messages, making remote debugging a cycle of push-and-pray. The Store ranking algorithm is a black box — there's no clear feedback loop for improving discoverability. Cost estimation for new actors is difficult before you've done real test runs. The web IDE is too basic for serious development, and the dashboard gets slow when you're managing dozens of actors.

Pros

At our organization, Apify plays a vital role in automating large-scale data collection and process workflows. We use it primarily to extract structured data from websites, marketplaces, and social platforms — data that fuels our AI automation systems, voice agents, and lead generation workflows. Apify allows us to create scalable web scrapers and integrations without worrying about infrastructure management or IP rotation, which saves significant time and resources. One of the core business problems Apify helps us solve is the need for reliable, real-time data to power AI-driven decision-making. For example, we use Apify to gather business listings, customer reviews, and contact data that feed into our automation pipelines through tools like Make.com and n8n. This enables our AI agents to perform tasks such as lead qualification, competitor analysis, and market research autonomously. The scope of our use case spans across industries — from e-commerce and real estate to digital marketing and AI customer support. Apify’s flexibility allows us to quickly adapt and deploy scrapers for new client requirements. Overall, Apify enhances our efficiency, data accuracy, and the overall intelligence of our automation ecosystem.

Cons

### "A Unified Scraping Layer for Operators Without Engineers"

May 9, 2026

5.0

Apify is one of the few tools in my stack where the monthly cost is a clear order of magnitude below the value delivered. For a small business operator, that's the definition of strong ROI.

Pros

MCP integration — Calling actors directly from Claude via the Apify MCP server removes the need to manage API keys, polling logic, or dataset retrieval manually. The actor-as-tool abstraction works cleanly for ad-hoc research tasks.

Cons

Apify MCP server has been genuinely useful in my daily workflow, particularly for scraping and automation tasks. That said, I've hit a few unexpected issues worth flagging — most notably, the server occasionally breaks without sending any notification or status update, so I only find out when something downstream fails or returns empty results. Adding proactive failure alerts, or even a basic health-check endpoint, would meaningfully improve reliability and reduce debugging time on my end.

### "Our Team's Favorite Tool for Growth"

August 27, 2025

5.0

The platform's extensive collection of "actors" has given us the flexibility to find solutions for almost any data-related task, and the responsive support from the actor authors has been a huge help. The impact on our business has been incredible. We've seen a 65% increase in lead generation, reached over 1,000 potential clients in just one week, and boosted our team's operational efficiency by 80%. Pros

We rely on Apify extensively for our data analytics and potential client forecasting needs. The service has become a vital asset to our business. By leveraging the hundreds of actors available on their platform, we're able to generate highly relevant data insights that we couldn't obtain otherwise.

Cons

Apify has had a tangible impact on our business. We’ve increased lead generation by 65% and reached over 1,000 potential clients in just one week. More importantly, it has boosted our team's operational efficiency by a remarkable 80%.

Apify has significantly streamlined our data collection workflows. It is a robust, professional-grade tool that handles the hardest parts of web scraping (proxies and headless browsers) so we don't have to. It's almost perfect, barring a few minor UI complexities.

Pros

The platform is incredibly versatile. The library of pre-built Actors saves a massive amount of time, and the ability to deploy custom Node.js or Python code directly to the cloud is a developer's dream. Proxy management and browser fingerprinting are handled flawlessly.

Cons

The learning curve for complex custom Actors can be a bit steep for beginners. Additionally, the credit-based pricing for compute units can sometimes be difficult to predict during the initial testing phase of a new scraper.

August 26, 2025

5.0

Apify has saved me countless hours in automating repetitive tasks and collecting structured data from the web. It integrates smoothly with other tools in my stack, and once you set it up, it just runs reliably in the background. Overall, it’s one of the most practical platforms for automation and data collection I’ve used.

Pros

The platform makes web scraping and automation incredibly simple with ready-made actors and a marketplace of tools. The API is reliable, the learning curve is low, and scaling workflows with proxies is straightforward. Great documentation and community support as well.

Cons

Some actors can be resource-intensive, and costs may increase if you’re running many large crawls. The UI could also feel a bit overwhelming at first for complete beginners.

### "Really great tool"

October 31, 2025

5.0

Pros

I've used this tool for multiple purposes: scraping tiktok profiles, emails from websites, enriching people information, scraping comments from many sites like twitter or instagram, getting information from linkedin profiles, etc. It works great, has multiple payment options and its really flexible. Plus, the API works great to connect it with services like n8n to automate things

Cons

Better payment options and sometimes it's not that easy to find an "actor" that fits your purposes exactly how you want them

### "Brilliant Integration and Scraping Tools"

September 5, 2025

4.0

Brillaint all in all. We found it very easy to get setup and integrated and the data formatting capabilities are great as are the places we can scrape

Pros

No-Code/Low-Code Platform (Apify Console): Users love that they can use pre-built tools (Actors) from the Apify Store to scrape popular sites like Amazon, Twitter, Instagram, or Google Maps without writing a single line of code. They just configure the input (URLs, search terms) and get structured data (JSON, CSV, Excel) out. Visual Actor Builder: For more technical users who want to build their own scrapers, the platform provides a point-and-click tool to create extraction logic, which is far easier than writing complex scripts from scratch.

Cons

The user interface is cumbersome and support is quite slow. There is a heavy reliability on AI to manage the support which doesnt always work
