Pros I am a freelancer. I have built a TON of programs for clients and it relies heavily on APIFY actor. i even am thinking of making my own actor literally. I mostly use it in automated stuff that contains IP and bot detection which makes it 100% safe for me to do whatever scraping process i want. Web scraping has never been this easy. I used to worry about API keys and all, but their agents have already been trained to handle such tasks. The platform is cost effective especially when using agents maintained by Apify. Pros I like that anyone can use it. I do not need to be a developer. There is an information section that explains what Apify's agents do, which is absolutely great! Cons I don't like that there are agents with complex information, making it hard for non-developers to understand. I think Apify developers should make information more easier to understand, so as to get the best experience. For a small investment in time and money, we captured data which would have cost 10-20X elsewhere. We also had direct access to the developer who was willing to make updates quickly based on our requirements. This ended up being the fastest, simplest method to secure the entire database results vs. any other option.
