Pros Earth Class Mail is a great solution for receiving mail with no physical offices and the ability to see scans, assign recipients, and receive physical mail (if needed) have been pros along the way. Cons The Earth Class Mail user interface can be a little confusing, and the notifications are not as customizable as we would like them to be. If your use-case for a virtual office is to get an mailing address, EC would be ok but there are much cheaper vendors that do the same thing. If you need to receive customer checks (my businesses' customers are enterprise-level companies that do not pay vendors by ACH), then do not use this service. Pros Ease of obtaining a physical mailing address for business purposes but that's about it. Cons Complete refusal to assist and provide information when alledgedly an affiliate (presumably in their mail receiving/forwarding division) stole a $18250 check payable to my business. Pros 80% of the time they're pretty good about quickly scanning things. Cons Run by the scum of the earth. The most predatory operators i've ever seen and I've used a lot of software. They have built numerous dark patterns into the product to make it difficult to see what you will be charged for and they've doubled pricing in the last year. Every single customer service issue is handled in the worst possible way, they question anything you do, and they are the absolute masters of surprise billing. Avoid, avoid avoid! Cons That they continue to bill us monthly for a platform that we cannot access. They have to mechanism to help us regain access to the account. They say that they have no mechanism to stop paying us. Only we can cancel the autopay - from within the account - that we cannot access. Infuriating! It really helped with managing our mail that comes in physically. It takes away the need of going through the mail ourselves Cons It becomes a hassle when we have physical packages or checks that gets delivered to our virtual mailbox by accident. The cost can pile up very quick, so we always have to be careful of sending physical packages to our virtual mail address. They charge a fee to send each piece of mail to you. Getting onboarded with the software was a very challenging as it was very complicated and confusing. You tell them you want to cancel, complete the official cancellation request and then they charge you anyway. When you request a refund based on the emailed cancellation conversation, they decline and instead forward you a screenshot of an email from 15 days earlier where we signed up for the service. Perhaps they don't understand time moves forward in a linear direction? I understand I signed up at one point, I then cancelled (because who wants to wait 2-3 weeks to find out they have mail?) Anyway, save yourself the trouble and stress and find another mail forwarding company. Pros I like how it's all digital and they have a nice interface. Besides that, nothing. Cons You have to wait 2-3 weeks for your mail. They charge you after cancelling. Customer service will argue with you.
