Easy to understand. Set up is easy. I can use it for scheduling daily texts. Reasonable price per month. Cons I'd like the software to work better for pre-scheduling daily texts. I also like the option to type up a message from a computer instead of having to use a phone. Perfect for large organizations who aim at targeting large audiences. Pros The built in calendar is great and allows you to schedule team meetings easily. There is no cost to incoming messages. Recipients are not charged for messages they receive. It is easy to use. By simply downloading the app, you can use it on your mobile phone. Allows you to send bulk work messages without use of a computer. Unlike other mobile text apps, TextEdit allows you to attach pdf files and documents, and pictures. All while still allowing you use of 1600 characters for the text. Cons Depending on your organization’s needs, Textedly can be quite expensive. More keywords would be nice. June 19, 2017 5.0 Pros Textedly is far cheaper than any other mass texting software we have used. On top of that, it uses material design and has live customer support. I am very impressed with their services and recommend them to anyone who needs a mass texting platform. Textedly is by FAR, the best mass texting platform we have tried. Cons I wish they had a mobile app (Android AND IOS) and SMS notifications for incoming messages. Also the ability to add subscribers without them having to send and an SMS to the short code. The system is clean, easy to use and organized in an intuitive fashion. It is very user friendly. The Customer Service is responsive, helpful and accommodating. The Plans are set to meet the needs of users of all levels. Good product, good service, good value. Cons The only thing I would like is an app but they've focused on a good product at a good price and back it with good service so I've learned to adapt to not having an app for it. April 29, 2016 5.0 Textedly is a relatively new company. They opened there texting platform to the public in 2015. We were there first paying customer. We will never go to any other vendor. Textedly gets it right! Since there platform is so new, it is super-fast, agile, beautifully designed, and works on any device desktop, tablet, even a mobile phone. As soon as we log-in to our account at Textedly.com, we can immediately see a snapshot of our subscribers, text messages sent and delivered, as well as a live activity feed of who just signed up. We can also see our text messages if we have them scheduled to go out in a future date. We currently have over 3,000 subscribers that have opted-in, and we send our marketing text messages to, mostly coupons and discounts. We have never had a problem with Textedly. They usually send those entire text messages out and everyone gets them in less than two minutes. I can review the reports after sending out our text message campaigns. And with their easy to remember Short Code of 33222, it makes it simple for us to gain new subscribers, people opt-in by texting my Keyword to that short code. Highly recommend. On one day, we sent out a text blast message, and it increased our sales on that single day by $2,000. Great company, great service. Review Source Jeffrey A. September 21, 2018 5.0 If you're considering adding SMS to your marketing strategies, definitely try Textedly! Pros We're incredibly new to using SMS for marketing. Didn't really know what we were doing, honestly. Textedly gave us a super easy intro, how-to, and focus on how to tackle this new aspect of our business. We don't have a huge market that we send texts to, but the response has been overwhelmingly positive. It's made my job of communicating with the field much easier and more personal. My non profit saw great success with it during one of our largest fundraisers of the year! We over how simple it was and we also love that we can pay for the number of messages we want to send out and cancel whenever we wanted to! Pros This software is extremely user friendly. The interface is easy to use and understand all of the aspects that the software has to offer. You can create simple messages, easily upload your contacts, and have messages sent out within minutes. Cons There isn’t much that I didn’t like about this software. I think it is a wonderful resource for any organization or business to use to communicate with their sphere of people. It worked fine at first, but it slowly had more and more issues. Cons It always has issues, and the customer shrive team is the worst that I have ever dealt with. The past few mass messages I have sent out show 100% delivered but did not actually send out. Auto replies are always down and customer service refuses to acknowledge. Pros Our staff working away from the office are able to receive news, reminders, and any other info without having to bringing out and logging into their laptops. A quick glance at the text message and they are updated in real time, and back to work on the job! I can send links, pictures, whatever is needed. Cons This software does not sync to my outlook, and so I must manually enter names and numbers. If it could sync, it would be always up to date without my reviewing it first. Review Source GW Glen W. I will not do business with a shady company like this. I will not spam my customers to use up my credit but they won’t let you keep anything so shame on you if you do business with this company! Pros Was able to stay in contact with customer Cons Only one key word worked. The worst my credit card was compromised and I forgot this was on a monthly billing. They took the money out but went to use it said my subscription was up. They get their money but will not let you use it. Also you don’t get what you pay for. It’s says credit but you loose them each month so if you don’t have 2000 to send you lose. Called and asked said I can’t use my 2000 credit. And can’t get a refund. This software is very user friendly. It allows parents to respond via text without giving out volunteers personal cell numbers. The ability to keep a template is wonderful, as we send the same type of text for four different camp sessions. Cons Nothing - It was all wonderful! I could not have asked for anything else. Cons They won't allow you to cancel only within a narrow window, and continue charging you despite requesting cancellation. In my case multiple times.
