I am able to communicate with those that express interest in my organization. I keep parents and students informed on upcoming events and such, all in one easy to use platform.

Pros

Biggest pro is affordability. Cost based upon communication need is a no brainer. Textedly is very user friendly. They also offer analysis of texts sent feedback received. The ability to add graphics to text is great as well. A lot of great opportunities for increased outreach through this service.

Cons

I have used this product for almost a year now. At this time, I have not experienced any negative features of textedly.

Pros

Ease of use, information that is available to show your results in real time. I appreciate the value that the platform provides with multiple keywords.

Cons

I have had "zero" problems with this program and cannot say anything negative about the platform. OK, maybe the response time to the online chat could be faster.

Saving time on calling clients for their spa appointments. I just set up a reminder text to be sent when they schedule their appt and never have to worry about it again.

Pros

How easy it is to use and how I can schedule texts to be sent at a later date. I regularly use this for sending reminder appointment texts in my spa, so I really love this feature. I also love the notifications feature when customers reply back to my texts. I have it set up to email as well as pop up notifications.

Cons

The only thing that I have found is that I would like to see the subscribers in alphabetical order. However, they are in order when you create a new message and add a subscriber. It also may be user error on my part as to why I'm not seeing it like that.

My customers are able to see where we are located and how to make purchases easier.

Pros

When I first started using this system I was very skeptical because I wasn't sure it would be easy for my customers to receive messages and sign up. However it has been really great and people have enjoy receiving the messages and knowing how to make purchases from us.

Cons

I do not like it when my customers are not allowed to sign up for the text messaging because they have a signature line on their phone.

We get to stay up to date with marketing methods and reach all of our customer basis right on their cell phones. I definitely believe this gives us additional business.

Pros

Lets face it, people check their phones more often then their emails and this software has allowed us to stay up to date with current methods of marketing.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve to using this software. At first we didn't know what to do but the customer service team helped us a lot. Great company to work with overall.

Pros

Ease of use is what I love the best. I have too much to do to learn something else. Textedly, I was able to figure out how to use it on my own. I still took a webinar and learned even more simply things that made my experience better.

Cons

Hmm, if you can call this a con, I thought it was free if you stayed on the minimum plan but that was only because I misread the info on intro 14 day free special. However, the plan is a great bargain.

Great! I would not change it for any other option.

Pros

It is VERY intuitive, easy to use, you can import/export your lists and it makes it easy to text specific groups of people or cohorts as we like to call them. I like having specific "Keywords" that people can subscribe to. You can reply to specific individuals, and the dashboard gives you a breakdown of your messaging activity, which is great for tracking your work. You can also schedule messages to be sent at a later time, which is time-saving when I have to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.

Cons

I haven't found anything I didn't like, so far this platform has been perfect for meeting the needs of our project.

My business in the past year has moved to selling primarily online more specifically Facebook. Text alerts are great because everyone gets them! I went with Textedly because it’s so user friendly and reasonably priced. You get what you pay for. The free texting programs that are offered are not nearly as nice as textedly. I recommend them to all my friends!!

Pros

I love how user friendly it is and customer service is 110% on point!

Cons

The price for smaller packages. A package that has more then the smallest but not as many as the next step up

Pros

Customer Service is top notched. Quick to respond and so very helpful. I highly recommend Textedly. We use this at work to notify staff of a host of reminders, inclement weather closings, network outages, etc. This tool gives us the ability to reach the majority of our staff in the fastest easiest way.

Cons

I wished there were more instructions/directions for set up. It was more trial and error for me to figure it out. Though easy, it would have been helpful to have that assistance.

I would say the ease of use. From uploading new contacts to filtering, this has been a great tool for our communication with our customers.

The filtering system is a little clunky, but once I got use to it, it is workable.

I can reach all of my customers hassle free without third party interference. This Software will now allow me to control when, how and what my customers will receive via text. I can also see progression on new signups etc. from all of my locations.

Pros

Textdly Software is the easiest, but most sophisticated user friendly software that my company has ever used. But even if you did have a question or needed assistance, they are a click a way and will answer any questions immediately, truly remarkable! Best interface my company now has, thanks TEXTEDLY!

Cons

There is nothing I do not like about the software. Best Text messaging platform that exists, trust me, my company has tried many!

I am a Production Manager/Assistant Director for Film and Television and often times we work 13-15 hours daily trying to get the next day's schedule and crew calls complete. Having a text service helped tremendously to send an update to the crew for when their work times would be, especially in more than one crew unit (A and B Unit separate times) so they can go to sleep while the schedule is being locked. I intend to use the service in the future.

Pros

Simple, efficient and very effective.

Cons

I would have liked a "NO REPLY" option.

Twice I tried to send messages to my list and they did not get delivered. When I contacted Textedly, they gave me their customer service number, which lead to a message that said I had to submit my request via email. Which I did multiple times. Although I interacted with one customer service representative via chat and email, she did not help with my issue. She just told me the "tech team" was looking into it. I asked many times to talk to someone on the phone to which she responded that I was unable to talk to anyone on the phone. I twice called the sales number so that I could actually talk to someone, and they promised to mark my request as urgent and someone would call me, but no one ever did.

Pros

It gave me the ability to send an image with my message.

Cons

The customer service is a total joke. I would not recommend this company to anyone, because if you have a problem, you will not be able to talk to someone on the phone.

Wish it would allow you to use a word that someone else is already using. I suppose the limitation is the number that you text too.

Quick, easy way to reach all of our employees in the event of an emergency, unforeseen closure, or general announcement.

Pros

The price point is absolutely incredible, as is the customer service. You can IM a member of the support team from any screen and they are incredibly fast. We use the service to send inclement weather or emergency updates to our staff, and the templates make that incredibly quick and easy. The site itself is user friendly. You can import contacts manually or have employees text a keyword to the given number to enroll/opt-in. We are very pleased!

Cons

The only con I can think of is the lack of a mobile app. This would be very helpful in the event of a power outage. Currently the only option is to use the "mobile friendly" website.

Overall, I enjoy using Textedly. I am still new to the platform, but it seems like it can be very helpful.

Pros

I love what is allows smaller organizations to do. I only think of text marketing that comes from large corporations like Google, PayPal, etc. But this allows smaller organizations to have the same kind of impact on their potential customers by allowing them to use text message marketing in an easy and efficient way.

Cons

I don't dislike anything about the software, but my organization is still trying to figure out how to use it. We thought it would be beneficial as a conference tool (which it is), but I feel like it has the potential to be much more and we just haven't had the time or resources to figure that out yet.

the amount of text that can be used is only 160 ... i feel it should be more like 240 characters to be more functional... the picture uploaded on on a mobile device does not work

Very user friendly. Don't have to be a techie at all. Very simple. Was able to land a new referral the first time I sent out a broadcast text. Using an industry specific keyword has landed me many leads.

Cons

Not being able to change a Keyword. Other than that it rocks. Highly recommend. Company is very quick to answer any and all questions.

I have not seen any real benefits from this. I can see where it is handy and useful...still trying to give it a chance to profit from it.

Easy to use. I haven't seen results from it so it's hard to say, but like I did say...it's easy to use...

Cons

It's not set up for a clear and easy mobile use. Hard to do from my phone so most times i don't post anything until i get to my laptop
