Great product, easy to use, value for money. I've been using VL more than 10 years and I always enjoy creating my campaigns with this tool. I would definitely recommend it!

Pros

Great Support and Customer Care teams, Product is easy to use and has lean UI. Ideal to added to my custom Shopify store.

Cons

Sometimes it can be expensive, if you run a campaign that is successful, the cost increases significantly. For example, for 100K participants I need to spend more that 80$ to maintain my mailing list.

Better product, more suitable pricing. The Loopify tool is good for basic referral tracking. VL has dashboards, can export large files of mailing lists supporting several data formats. We also needed API integrations with Webhooks and CRM tools and VL supports a big variety of vendors. Ideal trial period of 14 days.

It was good! Every time that I needed the viral-loops team, they were quick to help me and my team. I also use HubSpot, and after the team resolved my integration issue, everything ran smoothly.

Pros

The variety of pre-built campaign options, the customer support, and the ease of integrating the platform with HubSpot really stood out.

Cons

All the technical documentation I needed was outdated, which made it harder to complete the integration with HubSpot

Challenging to get set up, incomplete knowledge base, slow response times from support, brittle workarounds required for some basic functions.

Pros

Works for email list growth campaigns. Appreciate the customization and workarounds because the app/widget out of the box is bad.

Cons

Slow, sporadic support (30 mins to 5 days for basic questions). Lots of workarounds required to integrate with Shopify well, the world's largest e-com platform provider. Expensive for what it is. If a competitor offered email referrals, they'd be toast.

My overall experience with Viral Loops has been good thus far. We just implemented it.

Pros

The ease of use and the customizability. The customer success is great and my onboarding specialist had us set up in minutes after learning of my use case.

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like and hoping not to. We are running a few campaigns on it at the moment.

No way to stop bots (but that's not their fault and they have good measures in place to let you know when they are not real)

The process of building campaigns was very smooth and easy. It’s explained step by step.

Pros

\- Customer support - easy API connection - Setting up multiple campaigns - referral system

Cons

\- lack of flexibility (for example GDPR part, or Viral Loops Landing page) but thanks to Customer Support, these issues were resolved. - lack of tracking for the sources of users joining the campaign.

Viral Loops gets the job done. I've built an Affiliate Program using their software and am generally satisfied. The major drawback when using the Viral Loops landing pages has been that when you create an Affiliate Program Sign Up Form vs. the separate Sign Up for Service Form (i.e. the form linked to the unique affiliate link) is that both forms must be identical. I am not able to have 1 form with respective questions and more relevant questions when individuals sign up for service using the unique referral code.

Pros

The ability to create custom forms and landing pages for individuals signing up for and referring to our Affiliate Program.

Cons

Customer Service response time was 50/50 on getting a timely response vs. waiting for over a week to hear from someone.

I can't think of something. Maybe it could be even easier to use? Maybe they could add AI tools to help you write the copy for your campaigns? These are things that can make it even better, but it's already good!

Pros

Viral Loops have a potential to be a great referral app

Cons

Customer Service: Their response times are really slow. It took me 6 weeks just to set up the program. I eventually switched to a different one that was much easier to use and had far better customer service. When I finally did speak to someone, they promised to help with a few things, but after 3 weeks, only half of it was done. Their Shopify app doesn’t function well at all.

App Support is great, especially Thanos! Previosly i talked with another guy and he didnt help, also he stopped responding, but then i tried to rech another person from your support and Thanos was very helpful. I needed to fix my problem urgently and he helped me very well :)

Easy to understand and use. Very helpful for its intended uses.

Pros

The dashboard is really simple. The set up itself is also very simple. It’s reliable. We used support several times as we did a custom implementation and service was quick and accurate.

Cons

It’s not really a Con, but for us it was maybe overkill for what we really needed. I think if you needed it for the exact use cases it offered it would be a wonderful solution.

I like using them for referral campaigns. Overall would recommend! Customer support could be improved with live chat, i never seem to have them online so need to do email communication which can be a bit slow.

Pros

Good templates to work on,a lot of different functionalities built in.

Cons

Sometimes there's not a lot of flexibility in the coupon code/offering for ppl that are being referred on the programs.

They have been a great company to work with. We've been with them for years now, and as a startup, they've been reliable and helpful in our business.

Pros

We love the way Viral Loops integrates with our other systems. The support we receive is always good. They also label participants with a fraud warning high-low, so that's a nice feature.

Cons

I wish the data was more customizable within the dashboard and that exports were possible within individual participants and for all participants over certain periods of time.
