Our company has a couple media publications and brands that utilize this platform with great success. Pros The essential tools for subscription management, circulation, and content library are all easily accessible. API integration options provide support for external email marketing platforms which allows for more robust campaigns to retain subscribers, provide online content, and increase subscription rates. Direct connection to our mailing house to appropriately manage circulation is a vital feature os Subscription Genius. Cons The API integration was somewhat clunky and harder than expected to deploy. This caused some errors in contact records for retargeting contacts for marketing purposes. Pros Great subscription Management software, if you require more fields, you're always free to add in and customize. Cons When scheduling email blasts, you're not allowed to make the blasts at any given time or moment you need, but only on certain timelines and with limited templates even when linked to MailChimp. You can connect it to QuickBooks, ecommerce, paywalls, marketing software, and even your publication printer. Auditing, reporting, and all the data tools are there too. But we use for the simple management and exporting of the subscription databases for our printed magazines. Our team members can login and manage the databases from anywhere, and it makes managing renewals and expirations very simple. Cons Since we only use the most basic subscriber management functions of the software, I haven't run into any issues whatsoever.
