Earlier we used spreadsheets and various tools, but introducing Pims Risk Management led to many advantages like: -Having a common tool with a standard way of working within the company. -Significantly reducing administration work. -Increasing the sense of risk ownership. -More efficient and risk focused meetings (no spreadsheet issues stealing time). -Fully auditable Risk Register (updates are logged). -Database solution (allowing simultaneous updates from multiple users, security, simplified distribution, backup, etc.). -Simplified communication (easy to send emails from within the system). Automatic reminders regarding actions. The system comes with extensive reporting capabilities (export to pdf and excel); it is user friendly & reliable and support from software supplier (Omega) has been very good.
