The most problem we had was with the login, particularly with the fact that Passwork does not support LDAP email login (it cant use the email AD Attribute). Once a user was logged in, there were almost never problems with the usage, whether it be creating, reading, sharing, searching, deleting password etc. **Pros:** Self-hosted Attractive user interface Familiar user interface (like Windows Explorer) Perpetual User Licenses Not too overwhelming Security Easy updates Easy to use search functionality **Cons:** Limited LDAP login options Non-descriptive login error-messages the browser plugin sometimes needs new Authentication which confuses end-users Login problems with LDAP Vendor Response By Passwork on March 17, 2026 Thank you for the detailed review!
