Pros An excellent app with great functionality across data uploads, mobile app etc. Easy to get to grips with it, great for SMEs. Cons Some of the menus are a little non-intuitive, but it's not too bad. If you had a more complex estate there are not enough levels to easily represent areas in hierarchical form, but for simple estates, it's great. I'd like the options to group areas for audit rather than having to download one room at a time. I'd also like to be able to multiselect assets and then update them all at once. I understand you need money, but this was handled poorly, it bothered me enough to write this review. Pros I LOVED the OLD FREE tier, but they had to ruin it with some arbitrary limitations causing me issues in trying to even remain compliant! Asset Tiger is "alright" at the free tier now, but just barely. Cons The sudden pricing structure change that added some arbitrary limits just out of the blue. Why could I not be grandfathered into something that didn't cause me to lose data in custom fields?? 2 Users are you kidding me? 5 Custom Fields? I need to pay $20 a month JUST to have more custom fields that I had for YEARS??? You are trying to squeeze a free tier to paid tier and the leap is just absurd from FREE, to $240 a year if paid monthly... I really wish there was a grandfathered in plan of sorts, and I hate to say it, my company would likely not pay even if it was cheaper, we would change platforms. This just added annoyance and pushed me to write this because I find it incredibly annoying. No $5 a month plan, no $10 a month plan, no straight to $20 to start out, and cut me off from using until I delete things. This is incredibly frustrating, I just spent an hour clearing stuff out to "comply". Pros Very easy to use, they have definitely thought about the user experience. I found it very quick to set up my inventory, scan barcodes and replicate assets. The check-in-out feature works very well. The app works exceptionally well and is very well thought out. Cons There isn't enough user documentation, so I've had to figure things out for myself. I have had a few slow moments uploading images, but performance is generally very crisp. It's an invaluable tool to our organization. If you are currently struggling with tracking your assets, this is a great option. Pros AssetTiger is relatively easy to use. You can add all of your assets and check them out to employees, and you can add different kinds of information relating to the asset such as brand, status, location, category, department, etc.. The mobile app is great as well and has an intuitive UI, and it lets you scan assets by the barcode(s) which makes logging assets much faster. Cons There aren't a lot of integrations with this software. It would be nice to have the option to connect it to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, or other directory services / device management platforms. It may be too simple for your needs. Switched from [Microsoft SharePoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/1167/SharePoint/) AssetTiger had a lot more features for asset tracking and categorizing that SharePoint did not. It was also much easier to keep track of who was issued what equipment with the check-out and user management features. We could also control who had access to the asset list. It felt abrupt and transactional, and we strongly considered leaving. However, after posting our honest feedback, the Asset Tiger team reached out directly and went above and beyond to make things right. That response completely changed the tone of our experience. While the rollout had flaws, their willingness to take responsibility and restore trust was exceptional. It turned a frustrating situation into a redeeming one—and for that, they earned our respect back. Pros Super solid product that delivers on what it promises. It’s affordable, functional, and designed with real-world asset tracking in mind. We’ve used it successfully for years and recommended it to others with similar operational needs. In fact, this year I am opening a new set of "books" to track all of my non-equipment assets as well. Pros I love the hot buttons at the top. It is super easy to see what's under each category. Cons I wish the maintenance functions were a bit more involved. I need triggers based on hour meters and odometers as well as time frame. Reason for choosing AssetTiger Price, mostly. TBH, I am taking some of my equipment from Asset Tiger and moving to a new inventory system, ACCTIVATE, and rental and billing system The Service Program. We've used the free tier for about a year, which covers all of our current needs. If/when we need to bump up to a paid tier, pricing seems very reasonable. Pros The interface is very friendly and very easy to use. You can easily make custom fields in the database to accommodate your needs if the default ones don't have everything you need. Cons If I were to nitpick, it would be nice to have even more customization options. However, it doesn't hinder our ability to track. This was still the best out of the box option for us. I had the warehouse guy do it with little or no training. The stickers are easy to implement. Although, on plastic surfaces, I would rivet the stickers into the equipment. The training to field technicians is easy as well. Easy for them to use. Cons I would like the reporting features to be easier to use. The reports are great, but saving them isn't. An email report of assets that haven't been seen in a while would great too. As mentioned in the review, a history or feed of users would be nice. It has streamlined the process of checking items out to individual employees and offers a great history of when and where an items has been used. Pros AssetTiger allows us to easily track hardware that is handed out to employees through the check-in and check-out functionallity. With the AssetTags in form of a Barcode and the Scanner in the App we can use a Cellphone to easily assign an employee hardware, check the inventory for replacement equipment and always have a good overview of where equipment is currently situated. Cons The Software needed us to rethink inventory tracking a little, as each item had to be implemented as its own asset. A function to add a number of assets to a single item with multiple asset ids / tags would give a better overview of the inventory. Cons There are a lot of features and customization but I would love to be able to have a check out report for locations with the assigned person as well. Currently I can run it by who the asset is checked out to but I would like to be able to see which items are at a specific location and which person at that location the asset is assigned to. It would also be very helpful if you were able to check out assets to the person who reserved it without having to retype their name into the check out form. This one has a rich feature set, and is very flexible and easy to customize. It has very good searchability and reporting features. I use the reservation feature extensively. It's a very intuitive program. Pros The ability to customize the asset fields to suit my needs. You can create categories and use various forms of input.. like dropdowns etc. You can also customize the order in which the fields are displayed on the forms. Cons This one is tough.. there's not really anything that stands out. At one point, I thought I wanted an on-prem version, but I don't think that's important to me anymore. APIs to integrate with would be handy.. I've look but haven't found them yet.
