Pros
It's almost a joy to use. It has the general structure and design that I expect of a good asset management (which I hadn't yet seen in other asset management systems).
Beautiful and well organized reporting benefits for sure, great assets tracking and management tools.
I was pleasantly surprised to bring the software was a good balance between functionality and ease of use. It's highly customizable, had good import/export capabilities.
I spent a lot of time looking for an assets management application. Finally, I found this great one, what is amazing, the first-rate asset management program that I ever found.
Cons
Having a very difficult time getting the bar code reader to work, it has to be used only in the app and for now my cell phone; this sucks.
They retroactively started charging us with no notice. If this has happened to you just call and complain, they are refunding this without a fight because they know it is shady as hell.
Email system barely works and the customer service is extremely vague and unhelpful.
Occasionally have a connection refused issue via the web browser and have to wait 30 mins before I can assess the page again.

"Software is amazing. Smart business strategy. Go with this tool you will not be dissapointed."
Overall: saves me money, saves me time, is easy to use. Makes me look like a professional.
Pros: The software is free, does everything we need it to do. Looks professional, allows for reporting for management. Is a real win IT wise. We switched from a few Asset management systems that were free. This one blows them out of the water. I manage the MSP operations for my company. This allows me to manage multiple sites uniquely. put notes on equipment for maintenance, check in / out equipment to individual users or locations. You can even break down the locations by rooms / area's or floors or in theory the desk that the equipment sits at. will help calculate depreciation of equipment, for tax purposes at the end of the year.
Cons: It's good. My only concern is when something is free your the product. I'm curious to know what they are skimming off of the database to sell our information. Yes i feel obligated to buy their labels for my assets, whcih isn't required. I just do it because I WANT to pay them back for this great service. Still the skeptic in me is still waiting for the gotcha.
"Simple to use asset tracking"
Overall: AssetTiger has achieved our objective of tracking assets in a simple and intuitive manner. It's an invaluable tool to our organization. If you are currently struggling with tracking your assets, this is a great option.
Pros: AssetTiger is relatively easy to use. You can add all of your assets and check them out to employees, and you can add different kinds of information relating to the asset such as brand, status, location, category, department, etc.. The mobile app is great as well and has an intuitive UI, and it lets you scan assets by the barcode(s) which makes logging assets much faster.
Cons: There aren't a lot of integrations with this software. It would be nice to have the option to connect it to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, or other directory services / device management platforms. It may be too simple for your needs.
"Its cheaper compared to competition but not upto the standard"
Overall: Not good. i'll rate them 2 out of 5 as a user and as an admin.
Pros: Cost is low compared to competition. The entire software is not intuitive or user friendly and I was under the improession it was.
Cons: Customer support is very bad. No phone numbers or chats, just an email. There is no clarity on how to use the software and what its capable of. Nobody shows us demo or gives training. We had to figure it out ourself. The paid plans are very confusing, instead of 1 year subscription, they have some "points" that get debited. God knows how that thing works. So again, no clarity for customers here.
"AssetTiger - powerful asset management tool at a very attractive price."
Overall: It's simple to use, the interface is well thought out, and you can use the iOS app as a scanner to AssetTiger make this software hard to beat. Highly recommended.
Pros: AssetTiger is very simple to set up and begin using right away. Keeping track of your assets is invaluable and AssetTiger makes it effortless. Features such as cloning assets in order to inventory large quantities of the same asset is fantastic. Asset pictures are also a useful tool. We use a wireless scanner with AssetTiger which makes it more powerful. I love the ability to email the person who is checking out an asset with details about the asset.
Cons: There are not any major cons for this software based on price to value. If anything, the ability to customize the fields more would take this software to another level, but most of what is needed is already part the default fields.
"A solid asset management tool at bargain pricing"
Overall: A year with AssetTiger was included for free with our asset tag purchase from MyAssetTag.com, so we decided to try the software out. I did not have high expectations given it was included for free. I was pleasantly surprised to bring the software was a good balance between functionality and ease of use. It's highly customizable, had good import/export capabilities. It's given us a much better handle on our asset inventory and lifecycle.
Pros: The price is very reasonable. The system is easy to use and requires minimal time to train new IT staff once set-up. The system is easy to use, with barcode scanning capabilities, customizable table values so "odd" locations information can be tracked as well. Can add additional custom fields to each asset to track custom information where needed.
Cons: The software signs you out when you log into a other session. This is mostly painful when switching between the desktop and the mobile platform.
"Asset Management"
Overall: This software has enabled us to keep a track of all assets and its associated costs. even with maintenance, cost is getting added and deprecated as configured. this makes reporting of IT assets and its costing more easy when compared to previous software used.
Pros: The most easy part was implementation whereby we can upload asset details via a excel template irrespective of number of assets you have. if you already using different software and needs migration, get all details to excel and upload with template provided. cost analysis and reports are to name a few very good features in this software.
Cons: The status attribute should have been more simple.
"This is great for inventory and asset management!"
Overall: We have been able to inventory nearly everything we need to keep track of including keys. We have 5 office locations so this has been wonderful. We also check out a lot of devices to staff and Asset Tiger has made that process a breeze.
Pros: The software is super easy to set up and configure. You can use it farily easily right out of the gate.
Cons: This might be a feature that exists, but we have not figured out yet. We are not able to look for items by scanning their asset tags. We have to type the number in each time. We can only add assets by scanning the asset tags.
"Far Better than other cloud systems that cost 10X "
Overall: Helps us precisely track tools, equipment and assets issue to various locations and remote workers. Nag emails, reminders and reports are automated.
Pros: This is an very well designed asset database tool with an intuitive user interface. It's smartphone app is also rock solid and works way better than dragging around a barcode scanner. We started with the free version and grew into the paid version (cost covered by tag purchases). Asset tiger is light years ahead and far lower cost than the paid platform we had been using. This is the solution we had been looking for and it continues to improve with new features and capabilities.
Cons: Lacks Multi-factor authentication (MFA) feature for account security. Does not include a feature for tracking issued consumables.
"Great Platform to resolve a Complex issue"
Overall: Works well for our requirements and needs at this time. I would love to expand it to more items.
Pros: Mobility and ease of tracking. The app and site allow you the flexibility to use different products to track and maintain your inventory.
Cons: that it is missing a software license manager or integration to O365, Azure, Intune, and Apple Business Manager
"Best Bang for the Buck in Assets!"
Overall: This reduced our inventory program costs by $8K annually, allows all departments to use the same info to make corporate decisions, and has made me look like a hero in front of my boss!
Pros: The pricing structure is phenomenal, the freedom for unlimited user access, the ease of use, and the intuitive design of the program makes it really simple. The reports are also very helpful, including the pre-built reports. I just breezed through a financial audit using Asset Tiger's export to excel reports.
Cons: A consumable inventory component would be very helpful. Also, I'd like the ability to limit search criteria by more than one search field at a time besides the standard site/location etc.

"Excellent Easy Customizable Asset Tracking Program that can use Barcode Scanners"
Overall: Overall - Excellent Extremely easy to use.
Pros: It is SO easy and customizable. Our old tracking program was custom built and the programmer passed away unexpectedly. I found Asset Tiger - tested it - customized it to be similar to what we had been using - uploaded 30,000 assets and had it up and running ALL within 2 weeks. AMAZING! We do only use this for TRACKING - our accounting system does the depreciation and disposals.
Cons: There is only one feature that we desperately need. Asset Tiger attempted to add the feature as Event Date but it doesn't work as expected - we need it AUTO POPULATE with the last date the asset was touched (scanned, edited, moved etc) I do realize there are a variety of reports to see the last event date - the problem is with 25,000 assets - looking them up one by one isn't an option. Plus - it doesn't really let me know what assets HAVEN'T had an event date (indicating loss or theft) and with 19 Million in assets - this part is really important to us. I also realize there is an audit feature but it doesn't work for us because we have multiple offices and our assets are in constant motion between them. Below are listed some of the ways that we use the info * To identify items that are not located during our annual fixed asset count indicating loss or theft. *To ensure we bill for equipment added after the customer contract starts. *To verify movement of vehicles which has to be relayed to our insurance company *To determine our equipment utilization Currently I have to run several reports and then upload the data to give us a "Count Date" of the last time an asset was "touched" - I would consider Asset Tiger PERFECT if would do that automatically.
"It Does What it Says"
Overall: AssetTiger is free or very low-cost relative to the other commercially available software. I like that it is just for asset tracking, and it isn't bundled with other services and features that I don't need.
Pros: I like that it is immediately available to try and use. Other commercially available products take weeks or months to become available and then set up. With AssetTiger, it's available on your PC and on your mobile with just a couple of clicks. Experiment and explore for a couple of hours and to get familiar and begin using it with positive results right away.
Cons: The ability to transfer an asset from one user to another would be helpful. Our business has people and assets distributed all over the U.S. and the people often "hand-off" equipment between users. I wish AssetTiger had a feature that allowed two users to transfer an asset without going through the check-in / check-out procedure.
"Cheap And Easy"
Pros: Cost is low since we purchase enough asset stickers yearly to cover the cost. Program and the GUI is easy to learn and use for all types of users. Good amount of reports that can be run.
Cons: Once a users email address is removed, it cannot be reused again.
"Great Value Product with many useful features"
Overall: We have found a very cost effective tool for managing our assets, allowing us to know who has what and where it is, be it out for repair or allocated to a specific user. It also helps us to comply to various ISO27001 requirements and also gives us instant monetary value information across all of our assets.
Pros: Ease of use as well as easy to migrate to from existing system. This product definitely stands out in the value for money arena and provides all of the features required by us to track all of our assets as well as to manage the assets lifecycle from an information security perspective.
Cons: The fact that it does not have a software or information inventory function out of the box that could be utilised for tracking different types of information, it's sensitivity and flows between assets.

Overall: We rely on Asset Tiger to track our staff and student Chromebooks.
Pros: The Asset Tiger program is very easy to use.
Cons: We can not look up a user's device history. This would be helpful.
"Excellent asset tracking"
Overall: We primarily use AsseTiger to deploy and track computer equipment. This eliminated the cumbersome process of filling hardcopy forms and filing. It's faster and easier electronically, and the staff can receive an email indicating the equipment that was checked out.
Pros: We use AsseTiger primarily to assign and track computer equipment. It's very easy to use in this respect. Check in/check out process is easy, and eliminates the cumbersome hardcopy forms that we previously used. Highly recommended for this function. Eventually, we'll have all the equipment in the database, including old equipment, although some fields will be blank, such as purchase price or vendor.
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything that I don't like about the product. It's very easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, as a one-man shop, I don't have the time to use all the functions available, so I can't really tell how well everything works.

Overall: it is a great software and has helped us a lot to do follow ups on equipments
Pros: it is very easy to use and you can customize it with your columns, and add other extras.
Cons: Many people who I work with don't excel in english, therefore they have to use google translate pages to use it. It would be great for the setup to have a spanish version.
"Very affordable and customizable asset tracking"
Overall: This software saved our team thousands of pages of paperwork per year. It also makes it very easy to identify devices and their owners with a simple scan of the barcode.
Pros: After much research on asset tracking products, I went with Asset Tiger for its customization options and very affordable price.
Cons: I wish I could customize the format that reports are exported to make them easier to sort and filter through.
"Great Asset Tracking at an Awesome Price"
Overall: Overall, I feel much more organized with this system. We were using spreadsheets before, but this program is much more detailed and easy to navigate.
Pros: AssetTiger was really easy to implement at our school. I particularly like that by purchasing labels, I receive credit to pay for the service. It is easy to customize to the needs of the business. I also like the asset tracking and the ability to assign devices to people. It is very helpful, especially since our school is 1-to-1 now.
Cons: I wish there was a more simple audit or inventory feature. It would be nice to be able to just scan all of the devices and get a report of what is missing. As it stands now, there is an audit feature, but even using the app, there is no continuous scanning ability. You have to scan, then submit over and over. It would be better if it was more streamlined.
"Asset Tiger"
Overall: We have really love it. The money we spend on Asset Tiger more than pays for itself by reducing time logging things manually and keeping assets organized. Their customer service has been great and we have made a few feature requests that were fulfilled in a timely manner.
Pros: We were looking for a simple, well priced program to help manage our rental gear as well as facility equipment. We don't have many assets but it was getting to be too much for spreadsheets. We also wanted to better automate and log maintenance. Asset Tiger does everything we need without breaking the bank.
Cons: Would like to be able to change some of the wording/text to match our internal, company language.
"Affordable Asset Management"
Overall: Overall I have loved this product. It's low cost highly customizable and easy implementation has made it great for what we needed for. We are using it as a loaner system for it equipment.
Pros: One of the biggest pros about this product is it's free to use up to a certain number of assets. Which makes it perfect for managing a small amount of it assets or even other items you don't want walking away. On top of that it has a very clever check in and check out process with reminders that help you keep track of the items you're sending out.
Cons: There are no integrations or tie into other systems such as SCCM or other asset tracking modules. This makes this application stand on its own.
"Great Product, Easy to use & set up"
Overall: We have been using Asset tiger for 18 months now, after using Excel spreadsheets for years. What a difference, great asset management system, easy to use & easy to search for items in the data base. Very good help videos & help desk to sort out any problems if they arise.
