Without it I am not sure if I would have been able to complete the tasks I have needed to do in anywhere close to the same amount of time. Pros AssetTiger makes my day to day life as a Service Technician much easier as it provides a hub for me to store all my device information and keep track of where and who is using each device. Cons Overall there isn't much to complain about. Sometimes the option you are not looking for is the easiest to find but I, being in IT, do not have any issues to really complain about. Cons Honestly, there's nothing not to like once you get used to it. Pros The Custom fields are great. Also the ability to have the dashboard and statistics screen so you can see that data immediately when logging in. Cons Maybe some kind of fields in the maintenance section to include a website hyperlink. The software was very useful in filing a recent claim for instruments damaged in a basement flood. It has enabled us to keep our instrument collection up to date with our insurer. Pros The software is well set up to track the musical instruments we rent to students. It's easy to find specific instruments when they need to be checked out, and easy to tell which instruments in a given category are available to rent. Once I learned its quirks the software was fairly easy to use. Cons The user interface is somewhat frustrating - it takes several operations to get to the entry screens when adding a new instrument or editing the record of an existing one. We have been using this software as a company for a little over 2 years now and it's very easy to learn, execute, and generate helpful reports. Pros My favorite thing about AssetTiger is that I can easily track with a computer, cell phone app, or barcode scanner certain assets that I always need to know where they are or who currently has them. On top of that, I can also see a history of activity that helps me locate the item if it went missing. Cons I have had issues getting a bluetooth or usb barcode scanner to play nicely with AssetTiger when checking in/out assets. The phone app works great but being able to use easily use a wireless barcode scanner would take this software to the next level. Reason for choosing AssetTiger I could start using it for free. March 12, 2018 5.0 We get a great product with excellent support and it costs us nothing. This is important since we are a church that relies on donations to continue forward. Pros This AM software has a million features that you should be paying for, but the tool is free. There are a ton of canned reports and you can customize them or make your own. Check things in, check them out. Track when they are broken or fixed. Attach all of your photos and purchasing documents to the asset in the tool. I thought it was great and then I found the auditing feature. What??? You can use this tool to perform an audit, and it's free? I found a data mismatch in a report and sent it in to the support team. They fixed it...and fast. It was like support from a paid product, but this product is free. Take my money already! Asset Tiger is fantastic! Cons As some have stated, there is a limited amount of documentation on some of the more complex features. You just have to suss it out yourself. But that's fine because you learn by making mistakes and by configuring and trying the tool. Once you are done figuring it out, you know the tool that much better. Review Source AA Alexander A. Realized that it's not really made for this, but it really does the trick! I can sort out a list of all the items, not only by the apartment in question, but also by the room! Would recommend highly! Cons For myself I did find the pricing a bit high, but that's because of the way that I'm using it. I feel that if I were using the software the way it was designed, it is definitely worth the cost. It was a breeze to set up and roll out. It has brought sanity to our department in keeping track of our devices. Pros The ease of looking up devices, checking them in and out. Also being able to run reports on what is checked out. Cons It would be great if you didn't have to click into a device to check it in or out. It allows small businesses to track their assets as well cost and location of the assets. It is a must if you don't have an asset tracking system yet. Pros We have been using AssetTiger for a little under a year now and we love it. It makes asset tracking and taging very easy. The system is user friendly and is customizable to a degree. We have been able to track assets domestically as well as internationally with ease. The best part is the software platform is free! Cons We have found no cons sp far since using this system. December 28, 2017 5.0 Pros It's complete with: multiple users, multiple sites, multiple locations and multiple departments. The software offers a complete financial projection of your inventory, your TCO of your inventory and the status of every piece of equipment. What I like best is the different statuses a piece can have. Is it broken and for reparair, is it broken and thrown away, what's the cost of the repair, what's the cost in case of a new one...it all adds up in the completeness of the software. Also great is the app that's available, at least for iOS (don't know for Android). It can do almost the same as the web version. In the end what's a good part is that you can number your equipment so you can label it, maintain it and track it. As soon as you start using this it's kind of keeping it up to date and maintain it. Every time something happens to a piece you need to administrate it so your inventory is right. It's totally a great tool for a company or any NGO. Cons It looks like it needs the asset tags that this company offers. It's not a requirement but it probably helps tracking your inventory. One thing I noticed is that you can't remove your account in case you don't need the software anymore (for whatever reason). If so, you need to contact support and they will help you remove your account, very easy and very fast. Review Source AG Ajit G. While it is missing more advanced features of competitors products, the cost far out ways this disadvantage. If your looking for a good Asset Tracking software that is hosted with a minimal cost, then Asset Tiger is for you. Pros The portal is easy to use with a minimal learning curve. Costs can be offset by purchasing tags though the company. Cons Additional features and suggested features are rarely implemented. No API or Active Directory integrations.
