It is also helpful to keep track of warranty statuses. Pros I like the look and feel of Asset Tiger. The interface is clean and very intuitive to use. We are a small company and all working remotely so being able to create a 'site' for each person's house to associate their equipment is great! I also love the ability to run reports. I needed asset tags, and the software made it easy to use the asset tags, and bring Pros Scanning to identify items, and ability to add multiple similar items, searchability, ability to scan serial numbers. Cons When doing an inventory, I want to inventory all items, and not do it by department. I want a list of all like items, and just list the department as part of the description. Cons Having a very difficult time getting the bar code reader to work, it has to be used only in the app and for now my cell phone; this sucks. Pros There are plenty of different options that allow for tracking and managing all assets very simple as well as customization to add any other fields you need to manage! I am in a complete cloud environment and needed an easy way to track all assets and software issued for a good price without the use of a server. Super-fast customer service (email back about a technical matter in under 5 minutes). Great search functions. I have been looking for this type of software for so many years - and I am so happy I have found it in this company, it is exactly what I ned for the amount of equipment I have (Over 1000 items). I am using the software for tracking theatre lighting equipment and have adapted it to record my PAT testing and maintenance records. When my clients need a copy of my PAT test records - I can just print them off! If the UI is easy to use, then we will use it more (and keep our database up to date)! Asset Tiger has done a great job with a mix of simplicity and features. Pros I love the simplicity and user experience of . The user experience really makes a difference when keeping track of assets and an organized database, which as a result, keeps the asset management up to date. There is also easy access to asset tags, which is helpful! Cons More thought into software database would be a very helpful feature. Currently the database is optimized for hard assets, but much of our assets that need to be documented are node software. Cons The Prev and Next buttons are too close to profile and hard to hit. You have to touch the very bottom edge of them or the profile info will open. Cons Would like to see a change log report of assets history, by date. Like the one they have now on maintenance history. Would be nice too if products marked disposed no longer show up in an audit. Pros Love the bar code scanning, on Dell monitors especially. Lots of things to track like warranty, photos and documents. Cons Doesn't seem to read all QR codes even when scan option set to Datamatrix 2D. I wish the mobile app wouldn't apply the search criteria that was set on the webpage. Should be independent IMHO. We started using it and were pleasantly surprised at how clean, intuitive, and useful it was. We dumped our previously paid service and started using Asset Tiger exclusively. July 17, 2018 5.0 Able to track our demo equipment that we ship around to our customers on a frequent basis. Also allows me to run a report on aging so I know when I need to turn the demo inventory. And as always when I need to repair a piece of equipment. Pros This is fantastic, I can use the lease function to keep track of the equipment we loan out for demo purposes and get reminders to call it back in. No more time spent tracking down the wayward piece of gear. Beats the heck out a paper spreadsheet. When it is time to rotate out the gear easy to run a report and have the guys sell it off. I can add asset anytime or remove when I like. No need for large binder to help save space. Also helps keep track of cost for assets. Pros It is really great asset management tool which lots of flexibility in creating asset forms and various fields to capture in database. The table options are also very flexible. User management is very good and give lots of options to create deligated control. Cons Need more flexible options in reports and dashboard. all charts in dashboard are based on asset value, it should give option to select asset count as well. The dashborad should give more options to create flexible charts. All the reports are lacking multiple level filtering option. Even though it says there is a support line but it's difficult to hold them for help. I was lucky to talk and get support one but my last two attempt was failed. They said that they will call me back for support but it never happened:( Pros It seems like it has many features for different type of inventories. Cons I cannot get enough technical support. The ability to track how much money we have invested in the Assets as well as be able to see their depreciation over time is amazing. Pros All of the available functions right out of the gate and everything is free! You cannot get a better value anywhere else. This is how I envision companies are supposed to act. Cons Some things like uploading a new template if you are using one ID for a single employee seems to overwrite existing data for the tag, or I have not yet figured out how to properly handle the system. Cons email system barely works and the customer service is extremely vague and unhelpful. I feel like none of them really know what they are doing. Ask one question and it'll take three people to finally tell you the way you should be doing it.
