From being able to customize fields, automatic depreciation, customize searchings, allowing you to create reports and filters that you want, adding employees. This is definitely a system that was created by someone who has managed inventory before because every single function that is needed is there. Fantastic! Cons If there was a software/subscription management portion it would have made it perfect. Especially since now there's more SaaS and you can't really assign an asset tag to these. Finally, I found this great one, what is amazing, the first-rate asset management program that I ever found. So much power in a free tool. Thank you so much, guys!! Cons The ability to edit all asset fields would be a lot easier if we could have the ability to do this. Also, if there is an option to modify directly from the database or something such as excel where we could display all fields in one place, it will be awesome to edit multiple items from one screen. But not sure if it is worth the costs when it was advertised and completely free. There was no descriptions that said its free as long as you purchase xxx amount of labels etc. It was advertised as completely free when i signed up. Cons When we found this software it was advertised as free forever as long as you wanted. Then somewhere along the line they changed it and never let me know. So now they want to charge . Mass update and repetition is awesome. Cons Have experienced a couple of discrepancies that required assistance from customer service as I couldn't navigate the software to determine what the issue was. This has been the perfect solution to help track replacement of products timely. The ability to assign products to specific staff is a bonus. It's as if Asset Tiger read my mind, and made a database just for my needs. Thanks for the "at no cost to me feature too". :) Pros This product is simple, intuitive and has all the features we were looking for to tag and track all our equipment in a small non-profit. November 21, 2017 5.0 A free asset management tool that is better than some of the paid ones I have seen, Pros Firstly its free but it has many features that are well thought through such as it allows you to replicate assets already in the system to save user input. The ability to generate asset codes, use tags or scan and use bar codes is excellent. Cons The software is not quite flexible enough on report customisation and it would also be useful to be able to move the fields around on the input screens to make the order that you fill them out more logical. This is important when you create custom fields to add to the inbuilt ones. In would also benefit from being able to do simple calcs based on field inputs and show a results field. ie if this then that. Review Source RC Ross C. Cons We wish you could check out equipment as you are entering a new asset. It was like tailor made for our Company. and above all its for free, my only worry is how long is it going to be for free? Pros almost everything, the way they have classified the system. like the departments, categories, funds,, locations and sites. it makes adding assets easy and has wonderful report generation. This has allowed us to keep a detailed log of the whereabouts of every piece of gear, from a single battery to a full camera kit. It has also assisted in the categorization of flagging certain pieces of equipment for repair, inspection, cleaning or replacement. I am very pleased with what has provided for us. Pros It has worked seamlessly for us in companion with CHEQROOM. It scans in less than a second and has made our process of checking out equipment incredibly simple and streamlined. Cons We selected a color scheme that matches the look and feel of our institution. It would be great if there were a more vibrant color option available with our institution's color palette.
