I believe this has potential to be an asset to any company. That said, if the anonymity is not maintained it shoots itself in the foot. If employees are not given a space to voice concerns candidly they will not use it appropriately.

Pros

This product gives employees an opportunity to raise concerns or relay satisfaction to their leaders. Where I work, this has given leadership the opportunity to recognize areas they may have fallen short and/or to realize patterns in the business that are not visible in day-to-day operations at their level.

Cons

The tool is broadcast as an anonymous survey, but this does not seem to be the case. It seems as though the executive leadership is still able to see who the submissions come from. In my opinion this fact creates a fear of retaliation and decreases the incentive to respond candidly.

Overall I would recommend Peakon to any medium to large organisation looking to gather and action employee feedback regularly. Since using it we've been able to provide key insights to the rest of the business with relatively little legwork.

Pros

Peakon's ability to gather survey responses and break down the data by function, area, demographics, by individual drivers etc. is really powerful and intuitive. It makes it easy to use the data to answer otherwise tricky questions such as 'which areas of the business are happy with x, y or z?' or 'how have feelings on x changed overtime?'. The feature where managers can respond to anonymous comments also works well and opens up some productive conversations that might otherwise not happen.

Cons

The action planning functionality is currently a bit lacking. It does exist but lacks some key features that could really help make tracking usage of action plans organisation-wide easy, such as the ability to set action plans by function and area.

Cons

The volume of data was helpful, but it sometimes required extra effort to translate insights into clear priorities without additional context or internal discussion.

This is a good platform for large organisations to get involved in , this allows them to survey their staff and get feedback about many different topics within the business

Pros

I like that this platform allows you to give honest feedback about your company and direct team

Cons

In small teams its hard to give honest feedback as even though it is anonymous you can still work out who has given the feedback with the types of questions you are answering

I like the simplicity of the product as it makes it easy to raise concerns and helps in improvement hence helps in reducing attrition too

Pros

Anonymous feedback- allows employees to share honest views without fearing the outcome. Continuous Learning as it allows real-time feedback and company can take actions provided by data driven feedback

Cons

The scoring system seems confusing at times however, it is not a concern and can be improved upon.

Very positive tooling and (more importantly) impact on our organisation.

Pros

Benchmarking: The ability to compare against industry benchmarks is a very powerful element of this tool. Without, it wouldn't be as powerful. You really see how you compare to your peer organisations / comparative market segments as you progress through your surveys.

Cons

We chose to run our EV survey on a quarterly basis which worked for us, however when looking at our benchmark's it is sometimes hard to quantify the variances presented as their EV survey's may be run on a more frequent cadence. The quarterly approach relieved timeframes, however gives us little go on in between the scheduled slots and limits our benchmark somewhat - consider approach with your engagement person at Peakon carefully. Other than that very little i would put into the negative bucket.

Excellent customer service/onboarding. Friendly and professional.

Pros

Employees complete it monthly so we can review at the time any issues and put actions in to place. Different departmental managers can work together to see why differing scores/feedback within their team on a particular item. Putting actions into place following feedback, involving all staff in the actions shows to employees that we are listening as we want to ensure they have an inclusive and happy place to work.

Cons

Lots of stats, the system can be complicated to understand some of these. More training required. The trainers are so knowledgeable they assume it is easy.

Reason for choosing Workday Peakon Employee Voice

Accessible and therefore inclusive for all. They were keen to make the site as accessible as possible so worked with us to ensure this was implemented.

Their customer service is second to none. They’re always available and always ready to help. The answer is (almost) always “yes we can do that”. Amazing!

Pros

This software is intuitive, accurate and easy to use. It provides insights into the organization that I have never for from another tool. It is far more than a “survey tool”; for me it is an agile partner that continuously help me drive the engagement in the units.

Cons

As Peakon is releasing new features on a regular basis, I have not yet had time to miss anything really. If anything it would be that they could make the iPad app a bit better. It works perfectly on iPhone but the webpage is best if you work on an iPad.

Pros

Peakon engages my teams, complementing my efforts to understand and address my teams' needs and concerns. Once you configure the application based on your needs, Peakon sends the pulse surveys and collects information anonymously. I like the candid feedback mechanism, how I can acknowledge comments from my teams and engage them in correspondence while preserving their anonymity. Love the dashboard, various ways to see the comments, segmentation, and eNPS based on our industry. Also, love the graphs and heat maps that help me dissect and truly understand where my teams stand.

Cons

Reporting. Need a reporting module that I can create ad-hoc reports to answer my questions. Also, really need a mobile app with Admin functionality. A lot of us are on the move and we rely on our mobile devices to get our work done.

My place of work uses Peakon to track employee satisfaction every month, I find it a convenient place to voice my 2 cents.

Pros

\- Nicely designed interface and intuitive navigation and layout for employees to tab through and give feedback on the various issues. - allows employees to express opinions with protection that there won't be backlash since the feedback is anonymous.

Cons

There is not that much not to like about Peakon. One thing I would like to see is the expansion of the service offering to allow for more nuanced scenarios search as research surveys.

Pros

I find the ease of use when taking the surveys to be very high level and enjoy the summary section at the conclusion of each survey to see trends.

Cons

As a user I did not see any aspects that need improvement but more reminders to complete surveys would be helpful if you forget to do so once the first email is sent.
