Pros: that it is always improving!! Support is awesome and they listen to suggested improvements. Also I never have to wait very long for support help.

Cons: some of the reporting is a bit cumbersome. Having to export to cvs file and convert takes some time, but I am getting used to it and familiar with all the ins and outs.

Clio is a great management tool for our small law firm.

Pros: I was (and still am) very fond of the Outlook integration. I was also very pleased to see that it work both on the web-based Outlook and my Outlook app on Windows.

Cons: I don't think that I've run into any cons. Sometimes I find that the connection can be a bit sluggish, but that could very well be just the internet service provider on our end. I really do wish there was a stand-alone Windows app that could be used in place of the web app.

Overall: Ease of use and productivity.

All aspects of my practice are easily accessible with no frustration.

Pros: I like that I can see everything related to a case or a client in one search. I don't have to look through billing and then to-do lists-- it's all there in the same place.

Cons: It seems harder than it should be to figure out how to carry balances forward for clients who are making monthly payments against old bills.

Pros: 1. Clio is easy to learn and use. I watched the instructional videos and was able to grasp the interface essentials in a half hour. 2. It is very well organized and well-catered to legal practice. Other softwares that I have used for billing and case management are not as organized and well-catered to legal practice. 3. It has helped me to bill more efficiently. Billing is faster now, which allows me to bill more often and keep clients' bills manageable.

Cons: I have yet to discover something I don't like about Clio. The format changed a little bit this year, which required some adjustment, but I was able to learn the new format quickly.

Overall: Efficiency, organization, faster billing

Pros: You can see everything without hunting. You can see the bills in one place. You can see the accounts in one place. The reports are easy to use. I can't think of much else right now. I'm a new user. If you see below, I have some issues with billing, mostly e-billing where there are several "client ID's" and "matter ID's" that need to be on LEDES invoices. Also, some clients like to see their reference # on our invoices, so I had to make a separate bill theme for that client. It is difficult to select a bill theme for each matter - that needs to be easier to do.

Cons: There are a few things that could make some of my billing easier - mostly related to e-billing issues and LEDES invoices. I had to make a separate bill theme for some clients. It is difficult to select a bill theme for each matter - that needs to be easier to do.

Pros: The software is very easy to use, especially billing. I like the fact that I can log time on the phone and bill with a couple clicks.

Cons: Not sure I like the beta platform and change of tabs and labelling (eg "Time" changed to "Activity")

Pros: That I can easily view the Firm's overall practice and client's and billings on one easy platform which is also supplemented by the App, which is great for on the go billings and client information in particular

Pros: That it's cloud-based and the phone app is easy to use. It's great for tracking time. The calendar is great to see what everyone in the firm is doing.

Cons: The billing. That is a bit confusing. I always have trouble when I want to record that a client has made a payment because it's not right there in their matter.

Pros: Client and related client information to check for non-compete. Notes are an essential part of each client's profile. Document sharing with our clients is a big plus, specially with clients who reside in other states.

Cons: Would like to be able to search by phone number or client name as to where they are appearing on calendar, without getting into the client's matter.

Pros: Clio makes my life easier and my law firm more profitable. From the ease of timekeeping and billing, to the simplicity of form creation and getting paid. On the rare occasions I've had an issue using the software or a suggestion for how to improve it, Clio support has been very responsive and nice (especially when I just didn't follow the support instructions).

Cons: I'd like to see more options for running reports. I've had a few issues integrating with Vonage, but I'm not sure that's on Clio's end.

Overall: It makes my firm more profitable.

Comments: This product has been wonderful for use in a law firm. It has simplified billing and the ability to sync to OneDrive has been great.

Pros: Ease of Use Quick Customer Service Response Time Ability to Sync to OneDrive Simplify Billing Document Retention Reports

Cons: The only con that I have encountered with Clio so far is that on occasion, we have had issues syncing it to OneDrive. Nine times out of ten, it has been a Microsoft issue though.

Pros: I love the app and that most of the information is available via multiple devices. We were using multiple platforms which Cio has replaced -- saving both time (fewer duplication of task) and money.

Cons: I wish there was in-app editing of documents so I didn't have to rely on a third party integration (like Dropbox or One Drive) for documentation management.

Pros: It ensures clients the absolute transparency they deserve by affording them complete access to their files 24-7 in a highly secure environment. It's feature rich and integrates perfectly with my phone network, Outlook, Law Pay, my California IOLTA attorney client trust account, and many other apps. Customer service is top notch. And the best part of it all: the price.

Cons: Cloud services are always a little nerve racking at first. But the future is here. Deal with it. Besides, I am infinitely more confident in Clio's encryption than I am with partners at small firms who dabble with attaching hard drives to their local area networks to save a few bucks at the risk of their client's privacy. Don't be one of those...

Overall: It's convenient, efficient, hardly any learning curve, and the user interface is well thought out. Things are where you'd expect them to be, which makes it easy to integrate into your practice. It gives me confidence that I am communicating securely with clients. It lets me concentrate more on practicing law than practicing office. I love it.

Pros: Very user friendly. Easy to navigate and docketing time to files with a description is a straightforward process.

Cons: It would be useful is the product had icons for specific tasks like so that when you push a telephone icon, it automatically dockets time to a phone memo for billing purposes.

Pros: We like that with our other programs that they all co-inside with each other! Everything works well together!

Cons: Sometimes its a little slow loading our documents but other than that its pretty sweet! If they could fix and make it faster that would be AMAZING

Pros: What I liked most about this software was that it was web-based which eased the load on in-house servers and the management of the data as well as application on the back end.

Cons: What I liked least about this product was its integration. It struggled to live up to the promises it made initially with connecting to our billing system with a minimal additional expense. It's functionality also left a bit to be desired.

Pros: The way the software is set up, it is very user friendly. This is a much better attorney program than what my previous employer was using. I would suggest this to all law related offices.

Cons: None at this time, I have only used Clio for about one month. I should look into some training to get more out of the program.

Pros: I can use it on several portals, like my computer, phone or tablet. I can also merge Clio with LawPay and Google seamlessly.

Cons: It's easy to use, but I would like more online training on how to use more of it.

Pros: I have in law practice for 42 years -- BC (Before Computers). I'm an early adopter of technology. I've tried many packages that purport to do what Clio does - but Clio is way ahead of the competition. It's easy to learn and easy to use. Its pretty intuitive. Ton of YouTube videos that teach discrete aspects of a wide variety of functions. I feel much more in control of my practice. I think I'm capturing more billable time because it's so easy to pop up. I also like the app for my phone so that I can add items to my work calendar from anywhere (too many used to make it onto my Google Calendar but never onto my work calendar) and I can add time when I get home after talking to a client while driving (hands-free, of course). Clio is wonderful!

Cons: I'm not having any luck thinking of anything that I don't like about the Clio software. I'm sure I'll find something, but so far I haven't found any shortcomings.

Pros: The ability to add custom fields to matters is very helpful for matter management. Another amazing feature is the different app integrations.

Cons: To find something I like the least is a stretch, but here it goes.

First, I am still waiting on the ability to do installment billing. For now we have hourly and flat fees only. In a conversation with support I learned that they were working on it, and was given a workaround for the time being.

Second, I wish the top right "create new" quick access bar had a Create Task selection there. This is only critical of the desktop software as the iOS software has this ability under the quick "create new" access bar.

Pros: It's very clean and easy to use. Quick to set up a new matter. I like the add on feature for Outlook.

Cons: Billing and reports. I want to be able to resend invoices in bulk instead of unsharing and sharing each unpaid invoice every moth. I don't think there's every options as far as running reports.

Cons: not user friendly with my retainer style, did not work well with non refundable retainers and therefore had to create a work around to make the billing section workable for my firm

Overall: Clio has cut the time spent entering time and billing by days. We used to keep handwritten timesheets that were consolidated by an assistant into an invoice, then back to attorneys for review before finally being sent out. took days. Billing now takes me minutes

Pros: Clio enables everyone in the firm to see what has been happening on a matter. You can create invoices, see the firm calendar - everything - from just logging on!

Cons: We had an audit and the Law Society did not like Clio as our main Trust accounting system. So, we had to also run a set of books through Quickbooks.

Overall: The outstanding benefit with Clio is that all the information is there - and can be accessed from anywhere!

Pros: The easy to use tasks lists and calendar features allow you to keep track of cases that will last multiple years. The client pages make it simple to capture the most relevant data and centralize important notes and case updates. There are also features that allow you to set up templates and auto-generated invoices. Clio is also integrated with many other programs, which makes updating multiple platforms simultaneously possible.

Cons: There is not much that I do not like about this software. If I got really picky, I would want the task list to return you to the place you left off after marking a task as complete instead of returning you to the first page of your task list.

Overall: Our staff and attorneys are more productive. It has also increased our ability to work remotely.

Pros: I like their customer support, they are always willing to help us resolve our issues. They continue to add features to improve the utility of the software. They have worked to resolve issues with partner software packages and respond quickly.

Cons: I am not a huge fan of the new look and ease of use. I was used to the older layout and was switched to the newer one when we had to switch plans as our plan was being phased out. Some of the things I used the most are harder for me to find, and certain things are not as intuitive anymore. I also am apprehensive about our new plan.

Overall: It makes billing much less of a headache. Now if we could only get our clients to pay with such ease...

Pros: It's easy to use, yet it has a nice dept of customization which lets you shape it to your personal needs.

The user interface lets you maximize your clicks and your keyboard shortcuts to save time.

The integration team saved us lots of time by expertly migrating or old data from our previous homemade client system.

The automated templates are a great time saver. You take a little time to automate your motion and you don't have to fill the obvious parts anymore.

Cons: The software is currently only in English and most of our clients are French, but the customization still let us make French template for billing with very few problems.

The price is not the cheapest, but the time it saves you is easily worth it. The billing follow ups on your dashboard is also very helpful in not forgetting when you're owed money.

Pros: My favorite feature in Clio is the template feature. In the age of efficiency, being able to generate boilerplate pleadings is invaluable.

Cons: My least favorite aspect of the software is the functionality of the mobile application. While I love that there is a mobile application, many of the features are cumbersome and clunky such that I found myself using the desktop version in my mobile browser instead of the app.

Overall: Clio really helped me organize and track my practice, as well as maximize the efficiency of my day-to-day administrative tasks.

Clio is the most efficient, intuitive practice management system out there.

Pros: I enjoy Clio's user-friendly interface. It is easy to use, and it can do everything you need it to do.

Cons: At times, the Clio cloud can lag or crash. On occasion, I have difficulty accessing documents and communications that have been synced to Clio. However, these problems are typically resolved in a timely manner.

Pros: Clio is an efficient means to completing my job daily. Clio makes it easy for me to multi-task, which makes my work go uninterrupted. I find the software very easy to navigate. No software is perfect. When something goes wrong, I can call support and support swiftly resolves the issue; I can then easily get right back to completing my task.

Cons: I have yet to have any bad experiences while using Clio. I am rather pleased. The software has a lot to offer its users

Pros: I can call and get friendly, professional and patient assistance whenever I call. I have only had one occasion to have to call back for assistance on correcting transactions in a matter.

Cons: I have only had one transaction I could not perform in Clio where I needed a Statement of Accounts for particular matter of a client. When I spoke to the representative at the time to learn how to run a Statement of Accounts, he informed me that he would recommend the suggestion. Really, no cons. I was able to turn the pdf of the Statement of Accounts into a Word document and delete the other matters. It would be nice not to have to do extra steps, though. : )

Overall: Ease of being able to use the software being a complete beginner.

Pros: all in one storage location, accessible anywhere and mobile billing app is a lifesaver to make sure you don't forget billable time

Cons: accounting part, does not have non refundable retainer capability, we spent alot of time and money with our CPA and a CLIO "Expert" to create a work around to force the program to work our way

Overall: ease of transition and one location for all firm activity

Pros: Ease of use. CLIO has become a daily part of my law practice. Taking notes, keeping track of case expenses and accessing documents are all part of what makes CLIO worth the investment. The App helps when on the go.

Cons: CLIO is a great tool for small law firms. I would like to see the site have more of a dedicated Personal Injury slant, since that is my focus. The App could use a few simple adjustments as well. CLIO has made a significant impact on my law practice and I would recommend it to the solo/small law firms who are looking for an easy to use database.

Pros: Simple, easy to use, and there's no software to buy or install. Since its all cloud-based, I can access my timekeeping and invoice files anywhere I have internet.

Cons: You do have to be careful about how you enter and classify time, in order for it to appear as expected in the reports. Time has to be "billable" to appear in reports, so administrative time has to be made "billable" and then cleared out periodically by "billing" it, to generate year-end reports.

Overall: Timekeeping, invoicing, tracking of client expenses, documents and scheduling.

Pros: The Clio system is intuitive - it works for you rather than the other way around. It can be customised to suit your business needs.

Cons: Occasional problems with duplication of contacts. Although frustrating, this doesn't actually impact on the usability of the system.

Pros: The software has everything a growing law firm needs, from easy-to-use time keeping and management, to great looking invoices, to integration with trust and operating accounts, document management and more.

Cons: Sometimes, I think the CEO or CTO, or whomever makes the priority decisions is more a UI expert than an attorney. I feel like they make UI decisions over practical functionality decisions, and don't consult with their user base as much as they should.

With that said, I've been a client a long time (growing from 1 user to over 20), and they have improved their platform and moved things in the right direction. I couldn't be happier.

Cons: There are frequent changes to the user interface, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. We know Clio is constantly working to improve the software, which is a positive. However, we have to learn new features fairly frequently. Overall not a very big deal.

Pros: I like the space. The presentation of the system. I spread apart enough for easy reading for those of us that are not young anymore. I like how easy it is to learn and understand. You could honestly use this system without knowing anything about it.... and pick it up quickly because it's understandable.

Cons: I honestly don't have any complaints about it. I would like to see a way (which there might already be) to automatically track time based on the case you are in so it doesn't have to be done manually.

Overall: You can move fast from screen to screen because of the "easy on the eyes" reading. I have recommended this product to every single firm I have worked at. I have used approximately 5 different systems.. and this is BY FAR the best out there.

Pros: I love that case management and billing are integrated. I like that I can login from any desktop. The notes feature and activities features are very user friendly. The program runs quickly. The performance meter is also nice.

Cons: I wish the apps had more features. For example, I would like to view bills, unbilled time, and balances. I would also like the calendar feature to integrate with my personal calendar (iCalendar). It would be great to have notifications of upcoming events with information about how long it will take me to get to the event from my location.

Pros: The seamless integration with Xero is outstanding. The conversion process from PCLAW (after using such for 20 years) was easy and the integration team over delivered. I went paperless and Cloud based a year ago and would not have been able to do it without Clio and their team. Their staff is easy to reach and always answers our questions quickly and teaches us what we need to do and know.

Cons: I know that they are working on the trust integration with Xero accounting and I'm willing to be patient, but I'd like full trust capability in Clio e.g. reporting and without any double entry into Xero and then Clio. There are some new features with this that I have noticed and am happy so far.

Overall: fast use and ease of use and able to access anywhere since Cloud based. I love the Clio app on my phone and how I can access everything I need to for communicating with clients while out of the office or billing while out of the office from my Clio app.

Clio's software and focus on innovation has helped my law firm to thrive.

Pros: Almost everything is centralized, and I can see the core information about a case in a few clicks. All of my calendaring can be connected to each case.

Pros: 1) I can check to see which attorneys or paralegals are working on this case by going to activities, 2) If I cannot understand a voicemail message, they don't leave a name, or only have the phone number, I can search contacts using the filter for the phone number which will bring up the client's name, 3) I can look at the progress of a case, 4) Clio just makes my job easier because of these features.

Cons: However, I do not understand why when creating a folder in Clio, I input the name of the folder, but then I have to go back into edits to designate what type of folder it is, i.e., correspondence, pleadings, statements, notes, etc. Why this second step. It would be more convenient if I could designate what type of folder it is when I am creating it.

Overall: It makes my job easier in finding documents, identifying which attorneys or staff is working on the cases, I can record all activities for payments, and can check to see if a bill has been paid, if I cannot understand a voicemail, I can easily use the filter feature using only the phone number to identify the person who left me the voicemail. I can set reminders for me in the tasks to keep me organized, which is very useful. And, Clio makes billing a heck of a lot easier. I could not do my job without Clio. Well, I guess I could do my job without Clio, but why bother when Clio makes my job easier.

Pros: This product keeps everyone on the same page. It is a great way to assign tasks, upload documents everyone needs access to and allows you to easily track time between clients. It definitely improves workplace efficiency.

Cons: It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles as some of the more expensive software programs. It is time-consuming to set up the tasks and descriptions. You also need to be sure everyone has a clear understanding of what each task is otherwise you can have difficulty keeping accurate track of billing and conversion rates.

Changed the way we run our law firm and integrated our various software into one.

Pros: The updates keep getting better. At the same time, it is nice to not feel pressured into using the new modes right away. I also like being able to access it from anywhere, so when a thought hits in the middle of the night, I can check into it and get back to sleep!

Cons: When the latest new mode came out, I couldn't get to the help easily, but that has been fixed and I can't say there is anything I like least.

Pros: The ease in which you can immediately start using and utilizing this product. The overall product is good and when you can teach older "dogs" these new tricks, that is just great.

Cons: I do not have anything today that I like "least" about this product. If we have an issue you can talk on-line with someone immediately and get the assistance you need. And if that doesn't work for you, a telephone call and simple enough. And they follow-up with you about your experience.

Overall: Being able to quickly add new clients, enter time, enter expenses and billing. Everything you expect from this type of software, you definitely get and something even more important, ease of use.

Pros: Once you are you using the Clio, the work processes are easier to follow. You can save a lot of time, otherwise spent on administrative work.

Cons: Although the PC version is really great, the app still has a lot of potencial for development. Still do not know where to look for final sum of charged billable hours for all activities done in the matter.
Also a few upgrades would be useful, especially more features regarding team work, co-counsel (e.g. option to create one task and add a co-counsel).

Pros: Ease of use and quick learning curve to on-board new firm attorneys and staff. Functionality is very good for timekeeping and billing. Integrations with LawPay and with Xero for our accounting have been great.

Cons: Still don't look forward to month end billing as it is very time consuming, but the newer version of Clio is much improved.

Cons: Cannot create individual trust listing report per attorney. This slows us down a bit when we review billing. Billing profiles are associated with client, it would be better from a billing standpoint to have it associate with the matter (we have several clients with several matters, which are billed differently)

Pros: The amount of information about a client matter that is at a click of a mouse. It allows us to keep on top of client matters and remember what has been done when a client calls.

Cons: Finding good programs that interface well with Clio. A interface with quick books would cut down on time.

Pros: Clio is simple to use, with a well-designed user interface. Webinars and instructional videos make it easy to learn about new or previously unused features and take full advantage of the site. The customer support is always friendly and skillful at answering questions and resolving issues!

Cons: I wish that Clio would allow users to set more default settings that would allow users at small and large firms alike to have a customized experience that maximizes convenience and saves time on administrative tasks like recording payment on invoices and specifying matter settings.

I have used Clio since I opened my office and it is fantastic.

Cons: I am used to the old Clio and prefer that version. The new version is sleeker but I think the old version worked just fine.

Pros: Super easy to you, very organized, great features for our small law firm! Love the software! Love the time tracking feature and task reminder! New Clio Connect, client portal, has been extremely popular with clients!

Cons: Would like to be able to just edit "one event" of a reoccurring event in the calendar without having to delete and re-create event!

Pros: The ease of use of the software is amazing. I was on MyCase and transferred over as I could not use TyMetrix on the other software. Highly recommended!!!

Cons: Nothing really. It is easy to use, and wonderful to work with. If anything, I think it's somewhat sterile, but overall, I have no issues with it at all.

Pros: Speed, overview of our firm's ongiong and previous matters and always accessible, no server connection issues.

Cons: Document editing. It is no secret: We wouldn't have opted for Clio without the Alpha Drive addon for easy document production.

Overall: The most important issue for us was to be able to work on the fly, through a reliable mobile app. We also had to take GDPR into consideration.

It has made my practice far more effecient.

Pros: CLIO is an easy to use full service case management software package. We literally have no limits with this platform. We love using the time feature, creating new template for efficiency, and the integration with tons of other applications. I like the ability to switch back and forth with the new interface, and If we do have questions, the customer service has always been great.

Cons: The biggest issue I have is technical. Sometimes the servers will be busy and we can't access our documents through CLIO or other times we won't be able to generate documents due problems in the cloud. These problems never last long (maybe a few hours), but we rely on this software a lot so it can be a big deal when it happens. Nothing is perfect and we don't encounter these problems often.

Overall: Mobile access, ease of use, multiple useful features.

Good experience and access while in court as long as there is a wi-fi connection.

Pros: I love calendaring events and to-dos on the fly when out of office. I do not use the billing function in our office but the case management features are great. We love being able to have an electronic version of our pleadings on file by upload during trials.

Cons: My assistants do wish that you had the ability to make changes to events and to-dos for multiple people at the same time. We have also had some difficulty in losing events if we do not have wi-fi connections when we try to insert calendar data.

Valuable case management program for a solo practitioner at a fraction of the cost.

Pros: Here are all of the awesome features: billing, case management, contacts, document upload, bank account management, including IOLTA Account, financial metrics, and reports. I understand Clio now offers court calendar deadlines. That alone is worth the price of Clio if anyone had to calculate deadlines manually or have had a very expensive court calendaring program. I haven't tried it yet because I don't pay for the highest tier.

Cons: Calendaring. I hate having to manually put in everyone's reminder dates for deadlines. I have to do this for every calendar entry. If I was calendaring pretrial deadlines, I'd be spending a half day calendaring. If there was a way to do batch reminders for a certain case, that would be ideal, especially if the same people are assigned to one case and the reminder (tickler) deadlines are the same across the board.

Pros: Everything is at your fingertips in one location. No changing from one program to another for calendaring, for billing, for note taking and inserting emails into matters.

Cons: Sometimes, not all times, I am unable to delete an event. I, with the help of the support team, have figured out how to get around that. I'm sure it is something I am doing or not doing, but again, I can still get around it and delete the event eventually. That is not a major concern.

Overall: Multi-tasking at its best! Everything is in one location, one program. Calendar, billing, note taking, etc. I'm sure there are many more features, I just haven't learned them yet. Change is never easy, but Clio has a great support staff to connect to however you like to communicate. Whether it be by phone, email or online chat. The transition from the several different programs we used prior to Clio was so smooth.

Pros: Ease of use in all modules. You can pick and choose what works for you. They are responsive to your needs and requests and customer service is as good as it gets in the industry. No glitches yet.

Cons: There are a couple of things I'd modify but they are not sufficiently material to complain about. Also, I'm not real good at accounting and although their billing and accounting systems are simple, they are not as simple as I am. Someone else in the office does it all easily for me.

Overall: Totally organizes my practice.

Pros: Clio houses all of your matters, contacts, file notes, court deadlines, documents, and even client billing all on one system. Our firm utilizes Clio's ability to seamlessly sync the calendar and matter documents with Google calendar and Google Drive. This was the deciding factor for our firm.

Cons: As with anything, there is always room for improvement: the ability to edit transactions already added into Clio instead of being forced to delete and re-enter the information would be useful. Also, the reporting features aren't very vibrant but are definitely helpful.

Clio is the hub of my practice. Prior to clio I had a patch work procedures. Clio streamlined it all

Pros: Ability to track everything (notes, billing, contact information, paperwork....) and keep things together.

Cons: Sometimes the user interface is difficult to use. I know part of it is me but at times hard to complete running reports, adding a contact and small things. Also I save most of my emails to clio and the the way you look them up or the show up is not that clear.

Pros: I particularly like that the program is cloud based so I can easily access it from multiple devices. I'm able to download the app from Google Play and I can customize to each device used.

Cons: Some of the calendaring and task commands could be simplified, but all in all easy to use. The calendar could be bigger on the screen and it would be nice to have an a.m./p.m. toggle so it's not necessary to actually type a.m./p.m.

Overall: Great convenience and ease of access anywhere.

Pros: Time tracker. I was able to log calls and know all of the time I was able to I was spending on a case. It's great that it integrates with primafacie now (an immigration software).

Cons: Billing, templates and workflows. Very primative. I must have done an one on one training few times and when I asked questions, I was always referred to a link for tutorials.

Pros: What is best? There is so much. The Dashboard (to see instantly how the I am doing, and for each client so I can see how much time and billing has occurred on each matter and easily find the information I need); Time keeping, invoicing, secured email, email drop (to easily put emails into client matters in Clio and free up inbox space, ) and DOCUMENT TEMPLATES with Custom Fields -- I have automated my engagement letter, a basic client letter, will forms, POAs, etc. It saves so much time. To write a letter and not have to look up an address or block/copy it is so nice. You generate the document and edit to start typing the body right away. It requires work on the front end but in the end it is worth it. Also, the customer service being one click on a chat icon away is great. They are so friendly and talked me through invoicing each month for the first few months.

Cons: The customer service and training videos are great but sometimes it feels like an Easter egg hunt to find out what all it can do. I spent the first 8 months just keeping time and doing invoicing. I knew it did other things but wasn't sure what and how. Once I started digging around I have been amazed at what all I have found. It has saved so much time and made things for a solo attorney so much easier. I am sold.

Overall: There are too many to mention. I was only looking for conflict management software and didn't know if I needed a case management software because I am a solo attorney that is just starting out. It turns out that Clio does so much more. The timer feature lets you track work on different matters and easily switch to a different matter when a phone rings or interruption happens. You don't lost time. The billing is clean, neat and easy. After that you can move on to so many other options -- document automation, cloud storage, phone logs, email logs, quick and easy email drop. I have been here less than a year and I wouldn't switch. I am so pleased with Clio and how it makes the business end of practicing so much easier.

Overall, this software helps me keep track of everything going on in the office all in one place.

Pros: Clio is cloud-based which allows me to use it from anywhere instead of only at my desk. It is user friendly and allows electronic billing. I like that it integrates easily with Lawpay so that my clients can pay easily with the click of a button. Clio is also very inexpensive, which is nice because I run a small office with only four attorneys.

Cons: Some things are not as easy to use in the new version of Clio, so I think there are perhaps some bugs to work out. For instance, reports seem to print strangely. I appreciate that I can still use the old version when I want to do so.

Clio goes anywhere I have internet, & keeps me apprised of everything I am or should be doing.

Pros: It is able to make your billing and invoices look lawyerly and send them directly to the clients with a button linked to your LawPay account. It looks like it will be easier to capture time using an app on my phone than my prior systems of keeping a spreadsheet.

Cons: It can be overwhelming how many videos you have to watch to learn how to do things. I wish it was more like an Apple product that is easy to figure out without watching training. Also, the support people will call you all of the time if you show any interest in a free trial or subscription.

Pros: Customer service is best ever. Cloud based and always improving features. 90% intuitive to lawyer work flow.

Pros: We have a high volume practice and the ease of moving between matters is awesome. Having all of our file information at the touch of a button is great. Our entire practice is on my iPhone and can be accessed from anywhere. Also, the upgrades usually are, in fact, upgrades as opposed to change for the sake of change. We have used Clio since we opened on January 1, 2012 and we are miles ahead of where we thought we would be due to this amazing, cost-effective too. We could not be happier.

Cons: I did not like the overhaul of the document management system. However, it has clearly improved and is much more functional. Other than that, we are thrilled with the functionality, simplicity of use, and cost effectiveness of the app.

I have tried a lot of billing programs. This in is my favorite.

Pros: I love that it's online, so can't break if your computer changes or goes on the fritz. I use the timer all the time, but it's easy to change if you ever forget to stop or start the timer.. I like that I can set shortcuts for words. I enjoy that I can email bills to clients. Customer service has been great every time I call, which has been quite a few times, especially at the beginning.

Cons: I don't find it very intuitive, so it's a bit hard to learn. I want to request an "evergreen" retainer and I don't believe the program is able to do that yet, though I have heard the company has it in the works.

Pros: Before new Clio, the product worked great and met our needs. New Clio's "improvements," particularly with billing, added a number of useless steps and made the task or receiving a payment more time consuming and less functional. Before it was a button click to find the bill, a click to close a matter associated with the bill, and a click to "receive payment." Not now.

Cons: The "new" Clio isn't really very helpful and is less user-friendly than the previous version. And the iPad version is a joke. Try to manage bills from you iPad, even receive a payment, and you'll go right back to your desktop - or you won't be able to get the job done. This is a great case of designers and programmers not understanding how their clients work.
