Pros

  • It does what it says on the tin well and is not full of bloat. Simple, cost effective and good support.

  • Great tool for bulk addition of promo codes, discounts, extras and more. Suitable for different kind of accommodation.

Cons

  • It took time to figure out the different pieces. I couldn't easily see the pricing rules which resulted in mistakes.

  • So when Bookster calendar ICS is re-imported to Homeaway, Airbnb, Tripadvisor those export-and -re-imports show up as conflicts. I can ignore those warnings, but I would rather not have them at all.

"Bookster user"

Overall: Very friendly and responsive team who take a pro active approach to local issues too.

Pros: It has an easy interface and is easy to use on a daily basis. It is also a local company we were happy to support.

Cons: It took time to figure out the different pieces. I couldn't easily see the pricing rules which resulted in mistakes.

"2 years in and still happy"

Overall: It does what it says on the tin well and is not full of bloat. Simple, cost effective and good support.

Pros: Easy of use, reactive human support when you need it.

Cons: Its missing a multi room system as you would need for hotels. So with channels like booking.com if a property is busy but you have another nearby (or on the same site) it wont show up as an alternative. Also a simple CRM (customer db) would be useful. Using our own domain name for system emails (but without buying the website package) would be nice also.

Reasons for Choosing Bookster: User interface (especially for guests). The team who helped us try it and set it up.
