Positive as it lesses the workload for our admin staff but it's expensive. I wish that the price was less as to reflect the nature of the work (lessons for kids)

Pros

Great support staff who are have been able to correct every issue we've had since we began with this system. Easy to create programs.

Cons

Difficult to navigate discounts as there are too many options for how this looks without enough instructions. The automatic GBC submission almost always has errors.

Very satisfied. Their support response is outstanding in terms of quality, timeliness and completeness. The person who gave me the initial on line demo of their app’s capabilities understood their system and had a decent grasp of our requirements and limitations (Other possible providers seemed to deliver a more canned demo catering to a “model” client) The ability to automatically manage wait lists fits our needs to a T.(Some programs fill in a day or two when registration opens in December- camp week is mid-July). There was a bit of a learning curve - in part aligning terminology to our usage - but not a big deal. The ability to modify terms as they appear in forms and reports is a plus.

Pros

Value for $. We are a single annual event non-profit music camp run by a volunteer board. We have experienced significant growth post-Covid and Uplifter’s pricing structure and database setup fits our needs and capabilities very well

Cons

Limitations on customizing reports. Although the report suite is comprehensive and does provide some predetermined filtering that can be saved, I periodically need to download multiple report datasets and combine in a standalone DBMS to get the reports I really need. I do appreciate that there is an absolute need by Uplifter to ensure the integrity of their reporting suite as it is too easy to inadvertently create misleading reports if one does not have a solid grounding in database structures. I’ve seen far too much of this in my career.

I love the fact that if you need help, Uplifter will responds very quickly to help you address any issues you are having

Cons

A lot of learning, but once you understand the program it’s very handy to understand. Once the learning curve is down it’s an amazing system

7 out of 10, most of the features are there but user interface is not that user friendly. Require people with IT background to be able to fully understand and use it.

Pros

Integrated with the Skate Canada Membership Database and have basic effective program management for registration and day to day class management.

Cons

Features are sometime limited and rigid. Level 1 support staff sometimes are lack of knowledge and unable to provide resolution.

I really have no complaints about our experience with Uplifter. It has excellent capabilites and intuitive function, with excellent support. We are going into our second year and the transfer between seasons was easy, allowing us more time to explore other capabilities the system offers. The different modules and permission settings have been very helpful in allowing different board members to take ownership of their tasks and reduce administrative burden.

Pros

Uplifter has many useful features. You can start with very functional basics and expand into using enhanced features as you get comfortable with the system. Uplifter reduces administrative burden, making it easy to onboard new staff. Support is very responsive, and the online FAQ is comprehensive.

Cons

The value is good, but the price can still be a considerable expense for a small club with 150 members. More options in lower tiers?

Pros

Clean design and easy to see what you are changing with the website being changed on the face instead of being “coded” to the changes.

Cons

\- more font options for site - being able to save drafts in communications - wish the registration portion reset each season rather than saving some things and not others - being able to add people to the communication after starting the email instead of having to start all over again - mass deleting old pictures - sorting pictures into folders for easy finding

my first year I did not realize there was the 2 sites, uplifter and gymnastics Ontario powered by uplifter. The one page doesn't let you log in and I need to close my window and go back to the other page.. Unless I just haven't found the front door.

Pros

The simple steps, the athlete registration import feature are very helpful when starting a new session.

Cons

That it does not host more features and we need to use another program for absence tracking or notes, Skill tracking, Etc. Currently we use Jackrabbit as well.

Overall experience has been great easy to learn and navigate when looking for things I always recommended to other clubs to use

Pros

Love everything that it offers … how it keeps track of people‘s amount owing what they’ve paid and able to set up programs for each season being able to set up opening and closing times and dates. Gift certificates, major plus for people who have overpaid.

Cons

Having too close pages to go back in forth- when looking for items. Sometimes when I’m looking at something and I need something from another page, I have to close and restart all over again. So a little time-consuming.

Generally, uplifter has been an amazing experience for us. I found that when the company was smaller, things were easier to get done. When I put in support tickets now it takes a lot longer than it did 3 years ago.

Pros

I like how easy to use the general back side of the website is. Most admin functions are easy to figure out.

Cons

POS & discounts are quite a bit more complicated than they need to be. therefore our online store takes a long time to get up and running.

Uplifter offer a great service to its customer either by email or through chat. Uplifter save us alot of time and allow our clients to register at any time from anywhre

Pros

Easy to access. You can copy from one season to another. We can easliy contact the customer service to help us if we have an issue.

Cons

We would like to receive a notification by email when a payment is declined. We would like to have an easier way to credit a customer.
