Pros
The easy training language supports volunteers who are just wanting to make their clubs better. I would very strongly recommend Uplifter for use by other organizations.
I love this program, and as I mentioned the customer service is amazing, and there is lots to learn from all their information available online.
It has streamlined our registration process, communications is easier, ability to have a website is nice. Lots of reports that are helpful.
Good help articles and very responsive support team. We have had many fewer email requests seeking assistance from our club members during registration than we did with our previous software.

I preferred when I was able to do a live chat. Waiting for email returns can be a pain.
It is clumsy, not intuitive, over complicated, difficult to extract data.
I can't batch invoice a group for a product or subscription, which is a pain when I need to invoice 80 people for a fundraising item, outside of a program.
We have also had problems with policies and not allowing parents to register due to the policies and so I had to take those off.

Overall: We would prefer a phone number to be able to connect with someone when we need instant help on urgent times. We are grateful for the quick email responses however. Uplifter is our first choice to use for our Gymnastics facility.
Pros: It is very helpful that Uplifter connects to the Gymnastics Ontario insurance database. This saves us a lot of time
Cons: We run classes with monthly payments and the system is not idea for this in a few ways. First, we cant withdraw someone for a future date, it happens at the time of action. Also, upon invoicing it is very confusing when someone joins late.

Overall: Once I learned how to navigate the system it has saved me so much time! I like how I can easily adapt/edit any registration needs, member info, and have it updated instantly. For our small but mighty non-profit organization it is important to us to have affordable solutions to help with our mission and working with Uplifter certainly provides us with that. The support and help I have received over the past few years not only learning how to navigate Uplifter but also as other questions arise at any time far exceeds any other support team I have ever worked with! I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to handle your organization or clubs members/profiles/registrations/learners whatever it is you offer!
Pros: The real time work is done for me! Quick edits or changes are reflected immediately! Love how we can connect the live uplifter calendar to our other sites.
Cons: We don't use it in the typical way it was intended for, as a non-profit organization offering free programs we do not charge or collect any fees but instead collect information we use for reporting. There are a few details that make it tricky when collecting from our participants and how they register but overall it works for us way more efficiently than our previous way of collecting information and registrations manually.

Pros: Overall a decent program. Our board and coaches sometimes comment that they hate it and find it confussing... maybe just because they havent take the time to really look through it..
Cons: For the volunteer option we would like to be able to link it to specific programs. As some of our programs do not require volunteering. So we have to create a special NO VOLUNTEER option for ppl to choose as it will force them to choose something. Then the people registering get all flustered and worry about what it is they need to volunteer for. I would also prefer to see the policies pop up in the create a program page. Allowing me to simply click the policy to apply it, rather then having to search for the programs under the policy page. Sometimes its hard to remember all the programs and their names, and I always feel like im forgetting one.. Its just way harder to search it all for each policy. Id rather see a check of button for the policy.

Overall: Overall, Uplifter has been a great experience! It was extremely overwhelming at first, but the support and customer service easily guides you through the initial set. That same customer service is available as you get comfortable with Uplifter and want to experience more of the amazing features available.
Pros: I love the prompt replies when I send an email request for help. The explanations are clear and they always follow up to ensure we have accomplished our club's needs.
Cons: The upgrades that change things from one season to another. It's great to be up to date but its a slight learning curve as we set up a new season.

Overall: Had a terrible experience at first due to misquoting but I love the actual programming.
Pros: Class organization, future classes are able to be programmed into the system. The countdown to registration for next term.
Cons: Check in and out cannot be added to the program. We can get people to check in but if they forget we can’t add it in. It would even be great to have a time shift schedule added so we can send coaches their hours. We have also had problems with policies and not allowing parents to register due to the policies and so I had to take those off.

Overall: Overall, I like it. We moved over from Jack Rabbit, and at first, I hated Uplifter, but it has grown on me, and improved, over the years.
Pros: It is realitely easy to learn. I live that i can copy and batch update the seasons and programs. The reports are good, and I like that I can save my most used ones. I like being able to add my policies to the invoices. I love the wait list option, it makes life so easy when spaces open up. We use priority registrations, and the registration codes, which has been amazing for us. The registration process is easy on the admin end.
Cons: I can't batch invoice a group for a product or subscription, which is a pain when I need to invoice 80 people for a fundraising item, outside of a program. I can't adjust quantities of products on invoices, I have to either make the products to reflect multiple items, or add it to the invoice 5 or 6 times, which is inefficient. The Ayden settlement reports do not offer an account name, just the invoice number, so I have to look up each invoice to identify which account to allocate the funds to in my book keeping program; I really don't like this new reporting. We still get complaints from parents that their end is confusing and hard to navigate, but I do feel like those parents are not always computer savvy.

And the fact that they do not do in person training, although from a budget perspective, I understand. I just wish I could show someone how I reconcile everything and get their recommendation. Pros: The uplifter support staff are amazing. They respons quickly, can solve any problem, and can provide step by step instructions. Any time I have an issue they always help me very quickly. I also love the back end of the platform. Easy to use, has lots of tools and lots of customizable items.
Cons: I wish the website builder was more customizable so I could move images and text around to different places.
