Decided to just cancel after contract was up. Pros The targeting features were what attracted me to the software. The site gives good interaction feedback so we know where issues with campains might exist. Cons The cost seems a bit high, but well within reason, and comparable to bronto in almost every way. Ramp-Up was interesting and received little direction and help during that time. Pros We have a very small team of 2 handling marketing so the features and suggestions and sample templates are super helpful! The chat help feature is awesome!!! I can drag and drop boxes and images and link anything with ease. I can also build custom blocks then save those for later use on other emails. If I like my email template, I can save it as a new template to use over and over! Cons no copy/pasting from Microsoft office or it will revert back everytime to default settings. I wish I could make changes even after we set it to go. May 2, 2018 5.0 Data, tons of data and the ability to segment. Pros Definitely, the user-friendly aspect and the ability to pull detailed reporting on a triggered sent or an email. I also like the drag and drop automation builder - very user-friendly and intuitive. One of the best thing though really is the customer service. I have asked countless questions and have always gotten a response immediately - something that other ESPS I have worked with don't have and it really is a problem and can be frustrating especially when something is going wrong in the moment. Cons I wish when sending AB tests I could send the test to 100% of people instead of just sending to 60% or less. Campaigns are easy to setup but that's irrelevant until these delivery issues are solved. Pros Emails are easy to setup and send out but as they're no making it into customers in boxes that doesn't really matter now does it. Cons While they maybe easy to setup that doesn't matter is they're not making it into the inboxes they should be! Since switching to dotmailer in Jan email revenue has been down +40% and we've received complaints from customers and employees alike that they used to receive our emails but no longer do. Customer support has been very non-responsive and the lack of urgency is alarming. This is having a real negative impact on our business and no one seams to care to help us fix this! Pros I love that I can integrate it directly into Magento and strategically build campaigns based on the customer and order data within my eCommerce store. Any time we've had an issue or question, we received a prompt and thorough response. It's also one of the most robust email platforms we've ever used. The email templates are also very helpful. Cons The surveys and forms are a bit limiting in functionality right now. We were trying to include a pop up on our website to encourage email sign ups but we were extremely limited in our ability to customize it to make it match our brand standards. We did send them, but they kept ending up in junk. Dotmailer severely reduces these issues, meaning our Customer Service Director is a lot happier.
