Pros

Our order entry process needed a boost in efficiency and a reduction in manual entry errors, and Commercient delivered by setting up a synchronization system between our Shopify platform and our Syspro ERP system. The Commercient team, especially \[sensitive content hidden\] , were incredibly helpful throughout the process. I would recommend Commercient to anyone because they are able to familiarize themselves with your systems and synchronize them seamlessly, showing great patience and expertise throughout the process.

Cons

There were some delays due to licensing issues with certain required modules that were not included in the original scope.

Functions as expected and without hiccups. Fairly expensive though.

Pros

Data is synced regularly and reliably without any major downtime. Any issues that arise are very quickly solved.

Cons

The user(s) involved in setting up our account are no longer with the company, and there isn't much information readily available about how the technical aspects of commercient work. Also our primary user account is unable to be changed even though the person is gone from the company.

Overall, it’s been a reliable integration that has improved how our sales and operations teams access data. Once set up, it runs consistently and has made reporting and forecasting much easier.

Pros

The ability to sync Sage 50 data directly into Salesforce, especially customer records and sales orders. It gives our team better visibility without needing to jump between systems, and keeps reporting consistent.

Cons

Customization can take some coordination, especially when mapping ERP data to Salesforce objects. Changes aren’t always instant and sometimes require support involvement.

We have been working with Commercient for over two years now and whilst initial set up was slow as we have limited resources and IT infrastructure, since implementation, it has been a breeze. Successfully passing information through from our ERP to CRM and back again. For what they do, I don't believe there is a better option on the market. Had a great experience working with their team for several years. They will do what it takes to implement what you want no matter how ambitious your project is.

Pros

Commercient is a very customizable sync service that lets you accomplish exactly what you want in your data sync. Besides just syncing data, they can create custom lookups, rollups, formulas and database views to massage the source data so you get the perfect numbers/info in the destination fields. Once you start doing data integration you'll realize that is very important. Because (a) it is messy to do the data massaging in the destination system (i.e., you'll create dozens of custom fields and some crazy formulas to add them up) and (b) the destination systems (in our case Salesforce.com) put restrictions on formulas and rollups you can do within them, not to mention the total # of custom fields. Commercient allows us to overcome those issues. For instance, if you want to sync to a destination field the total customer open balance, with many accounting systems you'll notice that info is not kept in a single tidy field for you to sync. You need to add up all invoice amounts, sometimes separate invoice types that are in different tables (i.e., debit charges, rental fees from a rental module etc), then subtract all payments, adjustment and credits, and only then you get to the total customer open balance due. Instead of synchronizing all those tables to your destination system and then creating rollup/lookup formulas there to calculate the open balance (imagine how messy that would be!), Commercient enables you to do that math behind the scenes and sync that single field.

Cons

It takes a little while to plan the integration, what source fields you want to sync and to which destination fields you want them to sync to. It's not something you do yourself in a day - you compile the requirements and send them, and then their programmers implement it. But then, that's why it's so powerful.

Support has been great and the customer panel is easy enough to use. But, it feels like a lot of the cost goes towards too many uneccessary sales and marketing features, rather than focusing on the product itself. This is just based on experience with other third party vendors.

Pros

The support team working on the integration have been very pleasant to work with and very patient with all questions. They've been very attentative.We've only completed Phase 2 so far and I'm sure it will be the same.

Cons

The sales team were too pushy in selling the product without paying much attention to what we actually asked for and now we've up paying for more than we initially expected. Every single little request seems to be an 'Add-on' which seems unfair, given that we paid for the 'Set-up' phase. Understandly Commercient is a business that needs to make money, but the product feels quite misold. And the integration almost loses it's value with such minimal syncs per day. I also really don't like that all of the Sage tables are uploaded onto Salesforce ie. Sage 100, Sage 200 etc. Creatoing a package for each Sage product would look much better as a customer. It just clogs up our Salesforce instance.

Without Commercient Syncs the business would be at risk with transferring information from one system to another. This could be time delayed and opens us up to risks of errors. It is critical that they sync is accurate and reliable to ensure our data is transferred correctly. It saves us time and is efficient.

Pros

Commercient Sync allows seamless transfer of data between our CRM and Accounting software. no need for manual communication, it reduces risk of errors, is accurate and time efficient and reliable.

Cons

If there is a failed or unsuccessful sync for any reason we have to wait until the next day to sync the item again.

We attempted to integrate QuickBooks Enterprise with Salesforce with one of Commercient's competitors and it was a disaster. After months of work, we had to walk away because they could not get the job done.Commercient has a effective and efficient process. We had progress each time we met and when we ran into a snag, they had a solution within a reasonable period of time - usually is a day or two. We are currently running in Phase 1 for a few months mostly to get our Sales team comfortable with using Salesforce.Commecient saved us from walking away from a significant investment.

Pros

The integration with QuickBooks Enterprise is quirky. Commercient's plug and play sync with Salesforce ability allowed us to be up and reviewing data in a number of weeks. There were a couple of challenges, but after they understood what the problem was, where the data was located - they fixed the problem.

Cons

Lots of emails - both directly and through their helpdesk. It would help to only receive one email on an issue or a response

Pros

SYNC, we were told, was capable of connecting a wide range of ERP and accounting-type systems to CRMs, one of the most popular being Salesforce. Commercient did indeed deliver on this front. We are bringing over a massive amount of data as accounts, sales orders, and products. Commercient was very patient with us as we worked through our desired outcomes and the best path to achieve them. Specifically, the Commercient representative we worked with was very diligent in learning more about the JDE E1 back-end tables to help determine how E1’s data is structured and how it should be loaded.Post Go-Live, Commercient has been very responsive to any inquiries and/or issues we have encountered and quickly resolved them. Overall, the Commercient SYNC solution has saved us a lot of time and improved our success rate in getting the needed data into Salesforce. Though implementation was no doubt complex and required a lot of communication and trust between our team and theirs, the results have been well worth it.

Cons

Because we do have the technical expertise in-house, it has been frustrating at times that we are reliant on a third-party to maintain our integration, make changes, etc. Commercient, however, has always been quick to respond, which we appreciate. The SYNC tool also created a lot of unnecessary/unused objects in Salesforce for other ERPs they help to integrate into Salesforce, but that we do not use. From a back-end/system administrator perspective, I have not liked all of the superfluous objects littering my objects listing.

Pros

Once is set sync process is stable , in one year we have a 100% synchronization sucess

Cons

In a short terms evaluation it was a easy way to move forward on the SalesForce integration with our ERP, but thinking long terms is expensive. Also we're limited to sync a few times a day because the price is higher.

This app does what it needs to do. We sync our data between sage 100 and Salesforce. We have been up and running for a couple years now with minimal issues. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and response time is good. I would recommend this company if you are looking to sync data between salesforce and ERP.

Cons

The initial set up and development took longer than originally planned, and I would prefer the sync to be in real time versus every hour.

Our implementation runs in the background, essentially it synchronizes our Syspro warehouse data, with our Salesforce CRM.This allows my sales staff to have up to date stock and pricing information at their finger tips at all times.It is a real time saver and helps our organization to come across as more professional and efficient than our competitors.

I feel the service is not necessarily priced right for the amount of data we need to Sync, but I understand that there are features that we are not using.

Great experience and the Commercient team delivered as promised. Marketing website of commitments matched the results. A happy customer is the final product.

Pros

The integration of the 2 platforms (ERP and CRM) is behind the scenes and infrequently needs interaction after deployment of the solution. Prebuilt integration modules got us 75% there and the remaining 25% were unique processes and UD fields that we mapped uniquely to our manufacturing sell cycle operations. The Commercient projects teams were great in taking lead of the implementation.

Cons

Have not discovered a limitation as of yet. 12+ months of using the integration and works as marketed.
