Managing Director Printing Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "SAP B1 Sync" July 22, 2019 5.0 Pros We wouldn't have rolled out Salesforce if we couldn't have used our existing data in SAP Business One ERP. Thankfully the Commercient service has allowed us to automatically sync all our existing Business Partners and Contacts, and keep the data updated. The bi-directional sync option also allows our sales and support team to enter new contacts and accounts into SF which then import into SAP to ensure our data is consistent across platforms. As a distributor of serialized hardware items, I also have had all these sold items synced over to Asset objects in SF which allows our customer service and support teams full visibility of a customers serial items for installation and warranty purposes. The Commercient team are very responsive to my questions and with any troubleshooting. Cons During the initial consultation, there was some confusion and incorrect assumptions made on my behalf on what was and wasn't included. The quote/contracts are multi page documents that are overwhelming. If you're looking at rolling out this solution, make sure you understand your requirements fully and make sure the quotation covers every aspect of the integration and ask for clarification if there is any gray area. Having your data be synced between your ERP and CRM is invaluable to us as we look to leverage data/actions from 1 system into another. Pros Their customer service is extremely quick about responding. I never felt like I was waiting on them for much. Cons I didn't like how the helpdesk and customer portal were separate. It has saved time for our customer service and sales team while giving our executive management the ability to see comprehensive reports for nearly all functions of the business inside one system. Pros Commercient is very affordable and can accomodate any and all tables/objects passing back and forth between a CRM and ERP. They have many different possibilities when it comes to sync time and how to pass information (one-to-one, one-to-many, etc.) Cons The estimated development/implementation time is vastly understated. It also reduces the liklihood of mistakes because it is coming straight from Pros It cut down on the number of items that must be entered when transferring sales information from our CRM system (Hubspot) to our ERP system (NetSuite). Cons It is sometimes hard to tell what will cause the syncs to fail. We don't have a guidebook on what not to do as since I was not the individual to set up the sync initially it can be difficult to know what effects changes to our system will have on the Sync. Reason for choosing Commercient SYNC Price was a large part of our choice. Because they offered a solution that solved the one problem we were having, rather than a lot of problems that weren't actually an issue for us, we were able to save a lot of money and cut down on the complexity. Pros To be honest, I don't deal much with the physical software but the fact that their sync tool does what it does reliably and at the times it is scheduled makes my life a whole lot easier. Cons I can't think of any real drawbacks to the system. It has performed reliably since the day we employed the tool. The level of efficiency we realize by maintaining just one database and having real and accurate detail in CRM is priceless. For those that elect to partner with Commercient will realize the hidden benefit they bring... Service after the Sale. If there is any data irregularity realized within our SYNC, they proactively reach out and schedule a maintenance session to resolve the situation, always within a few hours. With a highly customized ERP system we were uncertain if we could realize the full potential of Salesforce. The Commercient team proved us wrong. Whilst there have been some challenges in the initial setup, the Commercient team have been responsive, solutions focused and their attention to detail is second to none. From syncing custom fields and creating custom objects in Salesforce the Commercient team have been able to provide the perfect solutions for data transfer. August 14, 2020 5.0 When we started this project, I thought our use of an ERP system (Sage) with a data model developed before my time 15+ years ago with a ton of customization would preclude us from using Salesforce to its greatest potential. Happy to say that I was wrong! Commercient pulled us through despite any hiccups that came up. It was a pleasure working with our implementation partner and through Commercient (specifically \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] - our rep - and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]- our developer - both of whom went above and beyond) to connect our data to and from both platforms seamlessly. I appreciate all of the work their support team did for us and cannot recommend them enough. Pros Set it and forget it. Since we implemented, the only time I needed to reach out to the Commercient team was to add functionality. Our project never would have succeeded without this sync. Cons They did not include a permission set along with their managed package while it was easy to set one up. December 18, 2020 5.0 I recommend this solution for others that need to move data between Sage and Salesforce. We use B2B Commerce and getting data between Salesforce and Sage is a very complex process, however, Commercient takes on the hard work for us. This does take some setup work and planning, so my recommendation is be detailed in what exactly you need and all the rules around your process. Commercient worked out well and they have a good team! Our consultants were able to utilize the files and data that Commercient provided to move it into B2B Commerce from Salesforce and from import files into Sage. By adding this solution, our future capabilities now have a solution for handling data between our systems. Love it! :) Pros I like the capabilities and flexibility that this system now provides us. Reason for choosing Commercient SYNC Commercient was able to create a customized synchronization from Epicor, our ERP system, to our Salesforce org allowing our various teams access to customer demographics, sales orders, and invoices, as well as the creation of custom reporting and dashboards. The customer service we receive is timely, accurate, and flexible allowing our organization to easily make adjustments on the fly and remain agile.
