Pros: We heavily depend on Ximble for our scheduling and time clocking system, and more for the latter. Ximble has features that other similar platforms do not offer which we mostly use: the automatic deduction of unpaid breaks in the payroll report, automatically generating timesheets/payroll reports, and the time clocking app for tablets and smartphones.

The interface is beautiful, looks fresh and modern. It seemed well thought of and well planned, considering the ease of use and an overall pleasant experience.

Customer Service: I think this is the BEST feature. Customer service seems to be the top priority. There is always someone available to talk to for questions and support. I never had to wait so long for a response and the responses are always thoughtful, accurate, courteous, professional and satisfactory. I have had some really BIG issues with Ximble (and NimbleSchedule) in the past but my concerns were taken seriously and immediate actions were done. It really is very important for us to be able to connect with someone when issues arise.

Overall: Ximble is ever-growing and always open to changes and suggestions. It's not a system that is set in stone and it is willing to accommodate users to make the best experience and offer the best service possible. I am impressed with the quick responses and support it gives users. I think it's worth the money to have this kind of support than just handing me a software and have to deal with it myself!

Cons: The switch from NimbleSchedule to Ximble wasn't as smooth as I hoped. I expected at least the bare minimum of having all NimbleSchedule features in Ximble and then more. I loved NimbleSchedule but there were issues that Ximble was able to fix so I'm not complaining! Every new software needs some adjustment period and I think I've overcome this and has learned to like Ximble so far.

Because we heavily rely on the payroll reports that Ximble generates for us, it is a pain to print each report for all of our 64 employees one by one. IT would be ideal if there is an option to print all timesheets with just one click of a button (like NimbleSchedule did). We prefer the layout of the reports through the website and not the exported CSV version which looks a lot more cluttered and not easy to read.

I would also prefer for fewer pages to load when clicking on buttons to save on time. (Saving time is always a plus for me). Example: When clicking "add clock in", instead of having to open a whole new page, it would be beneficial if the same page enabled a box to add this information.

The "notes" section feature on the payroll report was removed but this is a vital component of our payroll reports. I requested if they can consider returning this feature.

A few bugs here and there that I would always bring to Ximble's attention to get fixed and they get on it quick!

Could be more user-friendly and intuitive.

Pros: The software is extremely simple to use and I like that it is also easy to make changes to the schedule.

Pros: After trying multiple time keeping/pay roll services at work, this one is by far the most user friendly. It actually does what others claim to do, and if you have questions, their customer service is AMAZING.

Cons: Still resolving an issue with exporting, but they have been helpful throughout the process.

Pros: The software works very well, even better than I had expected. It generates detailed reports for labour costs, actual time worked vs. schedule, you can create templates for the schedule to be used over and over. You can talk to the chat reps who are absolutely amazing, they will answer all of your questions and even help you out directly by doing some tasks for you

Cons: Nothing, everything is amazing. The only thing I wish they had was a more detailed video showing you the different ways you can deduct time for breaks but it's not a big deal cuz I was able to figure it out pretty easily still.

Overall: Everything, time sheets are time stamped, employees can add notes, I can send them schedules, they can request days off and I can import schedules to save time rather than adjusting each day of work an employee has.

Pros: The software is really easy to use and flexible, I tried 10 other scheduling softwares all of which were too time consuming. Ximble took minutes to setup and we had it deployed within a week.

Cons: There isn't a con with the software, it could do with some additional alerts built in when time sheets and clock ins deviate from the norms but this isn't really a con but an improvement.

Pros: Ximble customer service is on point. They are available 24/7 to help you with any questions you have. We use the kiosk feature and it has significantly helped us to cut back on time clock issues. The staff also enjoy clocking in and out as well as the ability to leave shift notes. I love that I can approve or deny requests for time off, cover or shift trades at the touch of a button. The app is very user-friendly. Ximble has helped me save HOURS with scheduling related tasks.

Cons: Ximble does not have every feature we would like, but they are very open to suggestions and the turn around time for new features isn't very long. They are committed to creating these features and they really listen to customer feedback!

Overall: Ximble saves us a LOT of time with scheduling. My employees can make requests, trade, and pick up shifts with ease and I can approve requests at the touch of a button.

Pros: I like the Customer Support, they are all very polite, friendly, competent and always ready to help.

Cons: It should be a bit more intuitive and easier to use. Many of our employees had problems losing their scheduled shifts. The default location sometimes creates some confusion.

Pros: Ability to edit staff schedules quickly when changes are needed, and also being able to see a clear view of the weekly schedule.

Cons: The biggest hurdle we have battled is getting our staff to 'buy in' to the new system. People said it was too drastic of a change and too much of a learning curve

Overall: It is much easier to keep track of, and organize schedules.

Pros: mobile app, if everything worked as proposed ease of use and clean interface. Customer service is nice to work with even if they can't help solve the issue.

Cons: I was so excited when nimble schedule "upgraded" them to ximble. Because I loved nimbleschedule! The new features in ximble would be great if they worked correctly. the chat feature works in the app and not in the computer version correctly. when using the computer, my employees don't get them all and when I go into the chat log of one employee, all employees show up. in nimble it generated an email to all employees which was ok so I was excited about the chat feature but it does not show you have a message unless you are in ximble looking for them. as a result of all of the glitches, we can not use this feature reliably. when I publish to one department only, all employees get the publish. I have 160 employees and have been using this for 1 1/2 yrs (ximble since may) and I will be looking elsewhere. there were so many glitches, in the beginning, i felt as if I was their QA person. some issues still not fixed. very disappointed.

Pros: This software is so easy to use, it makes keeping track of employee times so easy and it integrates with Gusto (our payroll software) and it integrates with Quickbooks if you need it.

Cons: I think the interface of the scheduling could be a little easier to use. I have trouble making the shifts and then being able to edit them.

Pros: Awesome customer service. I actually was able to get a feature added. It was rushed and was available within about 3 weeks.

Pros: Ease of use, look and screen transitions. I enjoy the reliability of the program. This includes the employee notifications.

Cons: Price, but you can talk about your specific need and they can customize a price. I reached out to them and they were able to build a package for me.

Pros: As a small business, Ximble provides everything we need at a competitive price. They have a plan that gives me exactly what I need. I only pay for what I need.

Cons: I dislike that it can be difficult to add in a Lunch Break of 1 hour. I wish there was a preset, configurable "Take Lunch" button.

Pros: I like the ability to swap/trade shifts and to request to pick up a shift. The features for clock in zones and pin codes and such are all interesting features that make Ximble stand out.

Cons: A fair amount of glitches and communication with technical support resulting in 20min-an hour wait times and tickets being opened. Issues are generally resolved but it can be frustrating to not have the program work. I also wish I could move shifts around between employees in the monthly view instead of only the week view.

Pros: I like the colour coding of the staff. I find the reports very helpful for budget tracking. I like that the staff can sign in from home to review schedule.

Cons: I do not like that you can not print the schedule in colour. I have to take a screen shot and print the screen shot. I do not like that you can not set a GoTag to a specific person. I have one member of the staff that needs to sign in while shopping in the morning but I do not want anyone else able to do that.

Pros: Scheduling is fairly simple. Reports can be set to give back a variety of helpful information. The phone app is also very easy for staff to clock in and out.

Cons: Customer Service takes hours to respond in chat. Responses to each message are 2-4 hours after being typed.

Comments: New to Nimble scheduling. It is time consuming to set up, but it has value down the road when setting up future schedules. Comments: Super easy-to-use tool that provides the simplicity I need and the flexibility to adapt to changes and sizes of staffing. Comments: I did my research. This is the lowest cost time tracker and scheduler that has all the features I need (and much more that I don't but nice to know they are there). Comments: New to this app. Been using for about a month now. So far it seems pretty good. Had to learn it of course but it's easy to learn and navigate. The only issues I have so that I don't care for is that you can't request to get paid for future time off if you don't already have it built up in your acct. Also, I don't like the fact that once your days off request is approved you can't go back and see if you entered for paid time off or unpaid off. And you have to go the administrator of your account and ask them.

Pros: Easy to learn and Navigate. The contact support team is also very friendly and efficient in answering any questions you have in a quick manner.

Cons: Not being able to view your time off request after it's been approved to see what kind of time off you requested. Also, can't request paid time off for future if you haven't already accrued that time off.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would consider this if you have a small practice and not many employees. Otherwise, people may be contacting you often about their time off requests and I could see that being annoying.

Comments: Nimble Schedule is very easy to use and works great. It has a lot of functions and settings that you can modify that other calendars don't have. The employee functions are also great like the time clock and location tracker. Will continue to use this software, we love it.

Cons: -No employee tracking when they clock out, only when they clock in. -when you create a repeating event, it then makes all the events single events. If you need to modify the repeating event, you have to now modify every single event as opposed to making one change and having it be reflected on all the events.

Comments: Have been using this program for a few weeks now. Very easy to use, convenient when scheduling with the color coding system. Clocking in and out is very easy, as well as tracking job numbers and so on. One thing that could be fixed somehow is fixing of the clock in and out times. If the system sets the clock to 2:00 but you clocked in at say 2:04 then if you try to adjust your schedule from 2:00 on. It should be fine.. but it will show you time overlapping and it becomes annoying

Comments: We've only been using NimbleSchedule for a few weeks, but so far, so good! The Android App I am told is a bit clunkier than the iOS app. The main thing I wish the app would do would be GoogleApps single sign on - this would be a huge feature to add!

Pros: It doesn't have as many bugs as some of the newer scheduling software out there.

Cons: It's not the most user-friendly, it's UI isn't that impressive, and it's APP is not great.

Overall: We have jumped from scheduling software to scheduling software without being entirely happy. With nimble, we are at a point where we accept what we have. We think there is probably a better solution, but we can't find it. Until we do, Nimble is a great option.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are tired of looking around and want something that will get you from A - B this is your software. Dependable, but not going above and beyond.

Overall: I started using nimbleschedule a month ago. So many employees were complaining about time clock in and out because we used to use clock in and out machine. But now we are using nimbleschedule QR code it is convenient and easier than the machine. Also it is easy to learn about the program. The best one is their support. They are always extremely kind and fast. 100% remanded program for the business.

Recommendations to other buyers: If any of business owner or manager wanna to save their time and accurate clock in and out, must use this program. It is easy and accuracy. It is better for your employees as well.

Cons: There was an issue where Nimble went down a few weeks ago, and we thought our data was compromised. It wasn't, but gave us a scare. Also - I think the ability to create custom reports would be helpful, as every company has different staffing needs.

Overall: We moved to Nimble from a competitor a few months ago, and have been very pleased. The reliability, easy to use interface, and speed to set someone up are refreshing. The reporting helps us manage labor cost, and hold those accountable who are absent or late. We have staff all over the world and this tool is something we've come to rely on to grow our business. Also, customer support has a cool way of sharing screenshots when they show you a new function, and they're almost always available. A professional service, that is easy to use - highly recommended.

Recommendations to other buyers: It might not have the prettiest interface, but it does the trick! It is the Honda Accord of scheduling software - efficient, reliable, and affordable.

Comments: The customer service team for Nimble is great! The scheduling platform is also effective due to having payroll, reports, timesheets and all schedules all in one place. My company switched over to Nimble recently and it was very easy getting acclimated to , and whenever I have a question I would speak with Javier who is great! I also like that they are always seeking new ways to improve and take client feedback very seriously. Great program overall for managers and employees!

Comments: I was using an excel spreadsheet to schedule my staff and it just wasn't user friendly. I came across NimbleSchedule and decided to give the free trial a shot. It streamlined things for me so quickly. What used to be a daunting task now takes a fraction of the time. My employees love it as well since they can put their availability in and switch shifts with co-workers. The time off request feature is probably my favourite as I don't need to track down emails and notes from staff to figure out when they are available. I highly recommend it and I'm sure there are great features that I still haven't come across yet that will make it even better.

Comments: We've looked at several scheduling solutions for our small business and Nimble has the best combination of features, price, and support. As with any new platform there is a learning curve but the instant support is quick and thorough to get you through any questions or obstacles. Since we use mainly subcontractors, schedules are not always straightforward but Nimble handles all the ins and outs with no problem. My one criticism is that I would like to see different clock structures- day rates and shift (4hr) rates rather than just hourly.

Pros: flexibility, reliability, responsive support team

Cons: need the option to make changes to all shifts in a repeating schedule at the same time; need 15 minute notifications of upcoming shifts

Overall: We needed an app with a lot of flexibility to schedule staff and clients in multiple locations and keep them up to date of changes in real time. After reviewing and testing many other apps, Nimble was the best at accomplishing all that.

We look forward to future revisions that might allow us to make changes to all repeating shifts after they've been published, and to get notifications of upcoming shifts in 15 minute increments.

Overall a great app with a responsive support team.

They have a lot of robust features that allow us to run reports and have a snapshot of who was late or absent for each pay period, check what breaks employees are taking, etc.

QR code time clocking:
NimbleSchedule also offers the ability to clock in and out with a QR code that employees have from their NimbleSchedule phone app. We printed each employees QR code and put it with their door keycard on a lanyard keycard holder. Then we have a tablet near the front desk so employees can come in the door, hold their badge up to the tablet and clock in. Then do the same when they leave to clock out.

Tablet Admin App:
As mentioned previously, they have an admin side mobile app that uses the front camera on a tablet or mobile device that employees can use to scan their QR code and clock in or out. It works great and positioning that near the doors to our office really helps employees not forget to clock in or out and causing more work for our office admin.

Support:
Amazing support and nearly always available via live chat when logged in on the back-end

Pros: The visual clues and how it makes a lot of sense graphically

Cons: That I have to use it in more than one tab on my browser to perfom certain tasks, the interface still needs work

Overall: Everything works great but sometimes it depends on the browser and it could be slow in reloading the shifts when doing adjustments. This is the main software that we use for scheduling and it is extremely user friendly. I am overall pretty happy with it

Pros: Web based, tons of features.

Cons: Time out session is kind of short.

Overall: My company has been working with Nimble for the past 3 years, but it is now when the company grew that we are really seeing where Nimble shines. Perfect companion to my boss, he use to say, "it is my job to fill in the blank spots on the calendars!" Great tool, excellent support.

Pros: The online customer assistance is what I enjoy most. It is fast and I always feel taken care of when I reach out for help or when I have questions.

Cons: There are two people that have to publish their staff's schedule and since they are joined, there has been issues with what gets published, cleared, etc. I would be nice to be able to divide the departments so no matter what one department does it doesn't effect the others. This may just be on our side but I wouldn't even know how to go about adjusting this.

Overall: Nimble has made my life simple. When there is an issue, I have received only the best customer assistance. I can say that Nimble and its team is doing a fantastic job keeping their users happy. I am a happy camper every time I log on. Keep up the great work!

Pros: The ease of use and the excellent customer service. It is user friendly and if a question arises as to the use of the program the Nimble staff is very quick in their response time. It feels as though they are smiling in their response - always courteous and pleasant.

Cons: I can't think of anything at the present time.

Overall: I have been using this software for over 1 year and have nothing but positive things to say about this software program. It meets the needs of our company. Comments: After testing out several shift scheduling apps, I had almost given up hope that we'd be able to find one that fit our needs. But NimbleSchedule won the day with their ease of use, customization, pricing and highly responsive customer service.

Besides the shift scheduling that we were after, their ability to support multiple locations from single interface is a huge win.

I can honestly say that I had a cliché moment via a sigh a relief after implementing their system.

Pros: All the features and it's easy to use.

Cons: While working on the schedule, I usually have to refresh my page at least 3 times. Not sure if it times out but it would be weird because it happens while im working on it.

Overall: I love the features and pretty much everything about Nimble. However, there seems to be some glitches every now and then with request notifications and with the clock in. For me in particular it is the refreshing part that needs to be done constantly while working on the schedule. It slows me down and it's frustrating. Other than that I love the convenience and ease of the software.

Comments: We use this in our Barber Shop/Salon. I have 12 employee and this is by far the best app we have come across. Its easy to setup shifts, My Employees are able to request time off, and get a text reminders that they have a shift coming up. (That text has saved us lot of money from employees calling in saying they are running late or they did not know they had to work)

The only thing I wish they had is ability add future events (Football games, School days off, Holidays) on the calendar so when they date comes around you know to schedule the right amount employees . I would of gave it 5 stars all way but because it is missing this important feature I gave it 4 stars.

Comments: Nimble has been so good for our business. Overall: I have no used Nimble very long but do use it on a daily basis and Its fairly easy to use, I haven't really had any issues with it yet but I'm also new to the company and only used it for about 4 weeks out of the 7 weeks that I've been here.

Recommendations to other buyers: I wish there was a way to set rules for auto fill on the schedule such as John D. isnt allowed to go to Average Joe company but can go to Everyday Joe company so when I select auto fill it will not allow John D to be assigned that particular shift but can still receive other shifts. I hope that makes sense.

Comments: We are mostly using the time clock system, it's very user friendly which is exactly what we were looking for. My questions were answered pretty fast, I would definitely recommend this app.

Cons: the app does not let employees review their time card the app needs Geofencing (which I hear that it's being worked on)

Pros: Simple, I like that I can see on the calendar what the assignment is. Also, the app is easy to use, understand and visualize.

Cons: Well, this might be an error on my part, but as of now, the software is sending way too many emails, texts out some of my employees. I feel it's probably what I have set and am confif=dent I can change it. So really, if that clears up I have no true cons.

Overall: I was changing over from 'When I Work' and the process was relatively pain free. They gave me 2 weeks trial that got extended 2 more weeks which proved to be really helpful for our transition. While I still need to work out a few things, I have been very pleased with the product.

Pros: Nimble is designed to allow for flexible scheduling. Employee notifications are great. Support staff is literally just a click away, in an online chat. The support website is also helpful - it has answered some questions without having to use support staff.

Cons: Nimble mobile website does not always work; the desktop website seems to be updated fairly often, but the mobile site is falling behind.

Overall: We have been using Nimble for close to four months and it has been a huge improvement over our previous scheduling system. Lots of features designed to help a company with ever-changing scheduling needs.

Pros: Some pro's of this website is that it has a ver modern design to it. It is very easy to sign into Nimble to look for your schedule and to so the schedules of the employees that will be working alongside you.

Cons: Some con's to the Nimble Schedule App is that it sometimes does not show your whole schedule on your phone like it would if you were to log-in at a desktop or laptop.

Overall: My overall experience with the Nimble Schedule website and app is great. It is so easy to use. It is so neatly organized as well. A great product for employees and employers!!!

Comments: For most people creating schedules, is normally a huge hassle and is super time consuming. Especially when they work with a lot of people. With Nimble I can create shifts, the system saves them and I can copy a schedule for one week into the next one, instead of manually plugging everything in.
I can send out group announcements and emails to everyone on my team. I really like this because I might not see everyone I work with everyday, and this way, I can keep everyone in the loop. My co-workers can trade shifts w/ each other without even having to ask for my assistance or sign off. This is super helpful especially if I am having a busy day and they don't get a chance to talk with me.

Comments: I've been having a great trial experience with Nimble. Everything is pretty self-explanatory and the customer service is always here to help. The entire software will really help us in what we looking to achieve. The scheduling, check-ins and outs, requests for time-off and vacation are well configured. The only con that I would mention is the fact that we can't configure each employee differently. For example if we wanted ONLY one employee to have access to schedule changes we couldn't do so or else it would have to apply to ALL employees. Overall, this software is COMPLETE and being able to use it for 14 days as a trial has really been very helpful.

Comments: I have used this product for about a year or so and I completely love it! It's so easy for me to use. I can pull up my work schedule quickly and create schedules just as fast. If I do ever have a question, I can live chat with the tech team while I'm on the site and they help me straight away. They also give very detailed answers, and they even use screenshots to show me what I need, which helps out a lot. Molly, Dan, Dorian, and Zach have been super helpful with making sure I know how to use the site. I'll most definitely continue refer this product to others.

Comments: We just signed up for the NimbleSchedule recently, and so far, we are very pleased with its service. As all any new programs/systems, it was initially a bit overwhelming trying to learn everything! But the customer service, is excellent! They are almost always available to answer all my questions, and in a professional and pleasant manner. I am confident that I will always get help whenever I need it. I love this part of Nimble!

Our admin and staff both agree that Nimble makes scheduling and filling time sheets a lot easier. We don't actually have to fill in a time sheet anymore as Nimble already has this feature of generating one for each employee! It also alleviates us from using paper time sheets, saving us paper and printing cost, and of course, making Mother Earth happier!

We love the using the QR code to clock in and out - very convenient! There's a lot more to learn about the system that I'm sure will help the other areas in our company that we need to address.

We are very happy with Nimble and we plan to continue using it.

I have gotten great customer service, the product is not as robust as we would like.

Comments: We are growing quite quickly and are beginning to feel the system is not quite as robust as we need. This is the first time I have used this system and it seems limited. But I have received great customer service with any questions I may have. Customer service is quick to respond and knowledgeable.

Comments: We use Nimble for scheduling across our three restaurants in Asheville, NC. The tool has helped us a great deal in allowing each of our three General Managers to schedule shared employees without double-scheduling any one employee. The app has had a few glitches where it takes awhile to load but for the most part works quite well. The time clock feature has also been beneficial in allowing us to virtually approve/edit time stamps for our employees. And the customer service is the best part! There is almost always someone available to chat with online and they're speedy and efficient in their responses. We've tried other scheduling softwares and Nimble has been the best bang for our buck so far!

Pros: It has great preventive features when scheduling that alert users if you try to double schedule an employee across multiple locations or if it is does not fit within the employee's availability. The time clock feature allows users to virtually approve/edit time stamps for employees with just a few clicks. The customer service is the best part! There is almost always someone available to chat with online and they're speedy and efficient in their responses.

Cons: The app has had a few glitches where it takes awhile to load but for the most part works quite well.

Comments: I reviewed a few different scheduling apps for our frozen yogurt business. We're rather small with about 10 employees, and there are a LOT of scheduling apps available. In taking a closer look at some of them, NimbleSchedule bubbled to the top pretty quickly. They have a really nice feature set, and the ease of use easily set it apart from the other apps I looked at. Also their support is really rather ingeniously delivered and was quick and on point to the flurry of questions I had when starting out. What sealed the deal for us was their mobile app, which is VERY useful and really works well on the Android platform, which is not something all of the other apps could say. Finally from a value perspective it was a no brainer - EXTREMELY competitive rates, lots of features, really great support. We're very happy with it.

Good help in organizing staff.

Comments: Well I haven't updated my FB relationship status, but Nimble Schedule has brought a breath of fresh air to my work. We initially thought we'd trial the software for a month alongside our archaic spreadsheets and cut and paste email rostering routine... it only took a week and we abandoned the old processes. NimbleSchedule was easy to set up, and our staff have taken to it very quickly. The support team has been very helpful, a little bit of a lag due to time zone differences with us being in New Zealand, but over all they have answered all my questions and queries .
It's a slick, cost effective product that I can honestly recommend.

Best customer service I have had with a new online product.

Comments: As the scheduler at our company, Nimble Schedule is the software I primarily use at work. Anytime I have encountered an issue or have a question, I just click on a little question bubble and get to chat with a Nimble Schedule support team member. They reply quickly and always resolve any issues or answer any questions I might have. It's like constantly having a trainer at your disposal. There are many features besides the main scheduling feature that I use daily; the timeclock logs, audit logs, employee logs to make phone calls, etc. We have looked at other scheduling software but none of them seemed as easy to use as Nimble.

Comments: pros> I can look at my schedule any where I may be. & request time off. I love the APP! Also, recieving notifications that shift starts in 90 mins is great!

Cons>trading shifts have to be approved by supervisor prior to other employee receiving request to trade shifts. I wish the other person requesting could see if request has been "seen" Like the IPhone text message says "message read" Communication enforced!

Comments: For a while now, the ability to track coverage for our EMS staff was a bit scattered. We never had problems with the actual scheduling -- we have a set schedule that pretty much never changes -- however it was becoming increasingly difficult to track when one person was covering for someone else's shift. It became a game of texting, guessing and questioning who was covering for whom." It was getting confusing and needed some serious help. Being a small town volunteer organization, we don't have a lot of money to spend. So finding an inexpensive solution that was also very easy for some not-so-tech-savvy people to use was key. Nimbleschedule fits the bill perfectly. I am very surprised at how many of my members actually use it. Though I do have a few items that I wish were different, overall Nimbleschedule has been a wonderful tool for our service.

Pros: *Fairly easy to use - One you get a hang for what certain features do, it is very easy to use and a schedule can be set up pretty quickly. I can do a year's worth of scheduling for a dozen people in about a half an hour. *The app and web consoles are both very easy to interpret - Adding people to the schedule means I have to pay for them to use the app, whether they use it or not. The app and website are so easy for them to use, I am surprised how many of them say they actually use it regularly. *Lots of customization - I love all of the information it allows me to enter about my staff. The ability to turn certain notifications on and off for each individual is great too. It is completely customizable, which is great. *Announcements/SMS texts - Group texts are great, but can get messy when everyone starts replying. The announcements feature has been great. I use it to let people know about large span schedule changes, training opportunities and general housekeeping notes. The extra $1 per person per year is completely worth it for everyone to get a text when I post a schedule change or announcement.

Cons: *Inability to turn certain features off - Since our service relies on coverage, we cannot just request time off. The shift needs to be traded. I wish I could turn off the "request time off" feature so that it doesn't get used at all. *Positions do not automatically update - I have several members licensed at an MFR level. Last year I had 1, and this year will have more who's license will increase to an EMT-Basic level. When I change their position in their profile, it does not automatically update on the schedule. I may be doing something wrong, but the only thing I have found I can do to get them to show at their new level is to delete their schedule and re-enter it. *Inability to create overnight/multi-day shifts - This is probably my biggest drawback about Nimbleschedule. Admittedly we have some pretty weird schedules. Most of my shifts are overnight and all-weekend shifts. The weekend shifts span 60 hours, and overnights are from 6 PM to 6 AM. As it stands now, in order for a shift to accurately span multiple days on the schedule, multiple shifts need to be created. It would be very helpful to be able to enter dates as well as times for shift start and end times, so that I am not creating 12 different shifts (4 different shifts (Fri night, Sat, Sun and Mon morning) for 3 people) for every weekend.

Pros: Easy to see all schedules and filter in useful ways. Moderately easy to make entire schedules and make changes.

Cons: No way to "go back" or fix a mistake without just deleting and re creating.

Recommendations to other buyers: Once you get the hang of creating many shifts at once this tool is pretty easy to use. Some quirks but not difficult to manage or learn.

Pros: It translates well to the application on my Iphone and runs smoothly.

Cons: The time off requests get confusing, they tend to "disappear" when they are requested due to default settings I believe. Otherwise seems to work nicely!

Recommendations to other buyers: I would make sure if you are admin you go into the software as a regular user to see what they have access to, this helps to understand what your employees are able to not only have access to, but what they can or cannot see.

We rolled it out new, and had very few hiccups

Pros: Very flexible and adaptable to our unique needs. Customer service is outstanding.

Cons: Very few complaints, there are always some hiccups, but as it is a relatively new system, there are some projects that would be nice to have and are on their way.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do a full walkthrough with the techs, and make sure they show you all of the options with the sight, as there are many utilities to use.

Pros: I like giving my crew members responsibility for their scheduling.

Cons: While the product is the best product for Theater staffing that I have come across, it was not designed necessarily for Theaters. Each event is different and may require different skills sets. Right now, it would require creating many shifts to cover each duty before posting, and it would not prevent staff from requesting several different spots.

Recommendations to other buyers: If assigning shifts and scheduling your staff is time consuming, Nimble Schedule is a great product and will solve most of you scheduling issues.

Pros: In general, I am very happy with this product as the person putting together the schedules! It is easy to see when requests are put in, and it is nice that our nurses can easily pick up shifts and we do not have to deal as much with filling in open shifts. It is very helpful that we cannot double book an employee - I'm sure that has saved me countless times. I have had a good experience with Nimble for the most part.

Cons: Occasionally when our employees look at the month view of their schedule, the program switches days and patient accounts. This is the biggest flaw we have encountered. It is also sometimes a pain to enter shift times, though that is becoming less of a hassle as I am becoming more comfortable with the program. On holidays, it is great that they are all entered so we cannot forget what day the holidays are, but I have found that the system also blocks out all employees as "unavailable" on every holiday. This has caused some confusion and made those days a little bit harder to deal with. I have also noticed that it is possible to double book a shift - something that we have to watch for closely but it is also helpful when we are setting up mentor shifts where we actually intentionally double book! One last thing - it is hard (depending on account label colors) to print visible calendars.

Recommendations to other buyers: It took a little while for us to get the hang of making shifts in patterns - I'd advise looking at how that works right away to make the job easier!

Comments: Nimble has improved our scheduling for both for managers and employees. We are new at Nimble, but I'm convinced that we will stay completely satisfied. I've evaluated many similar similar solutions lately, Nimble Schedule simply does it best! Nimbles support team could only be described with one word: awesome!! Whenever and whatever I need support with, I get it almost directly via their support chat.

Pros: - Simple interface - Very affordable - Time saving - Very good support - Etc...

Cons: - No custom branding - 24 hour time format is not available in the mobile apps - Some settings can't be executed for all users at the same time - No full screen view that always shows the current weeks schedule Mostly small details really...

Comments: Text messaging feature is not intuitive. Half of our employees aren't getting texts, and those that are receive texts from a different phone number each time. I think we will opt not to use the text messaging feature.

An email with specific questions sent to customer service went unanswered for several days. When we called to get resolution, the response was that the rep was busy.

Comments: I only use this software for time keeping for payroll. We use Trax as our payroll software and import from Nimble. My number 1 complaint above all else is there is no way to add different types of time into Nimble. If a manager could enter PTO or Holiday pay hours into Nimble I wouldn't have to do it manually in Trax because when imported the hours would already be completed.

Also, our company is divided into 3 "companies" if you will. So I process payroll 3 times. It would be most helpful if I could filter the payroll report by company and not only by locations or employees. I either have to select all employees and scroll through the entire list or check specific employees in that company which can be very time consuming.

Also, the ability to set whether a specific employee calculates overtime after 40 would be great. We have employees that are not paid OT after 40, but rather regular time. If I could set these employees to do so they would calculate correctly in Trax. But since I cannot I had to do a work around.

Comments: We plan to publish our first schedule with Nimble next week, so we are pretty new customers! So far our experience has been wonderful! The customer service is truly top-notch and we have been very pleasantly surprised with how user friendly this product is! As we have begun training our employees and managers on how to use Nimble, everyone has picked up on it right away and we are anxious to see how much easier this will make scheduling for our company. We look forward to saving lots of time and money as we schedule our employees more efficiently!

Comments: Pros - I love the ability to correct log in/ log out issues effortlessly . When everyone uses the system daily it makes our payroll processing run very smoothly .

Cons - It was hard to get everybody on board at first . Early acceptors love the software . If a person doesn't use the system it would be helpful to have an email reminder to have the person log in if they forget ( sort of like an alarm if they forgot to log in or out for scheduled time)

Comments: Overall, I have found Nimble Schedule to be extremely effective for employee scheduling. A big plus is detailed reporting and the ability to schedule people across departments and locations easily. It's cost effectiveness is also a plus as we are a non-profit. I have experienced a couple glitches with the system and find the Requests tab is not super intuitive. Most employees have really taken to the new system however a few have found it a challenge.
