I just played with it for some time so it's to early say something negative.
Was missing integrations to external reporting systems.
Sometimes there are disorders whose root cause is difficult to trace, for example the chat conversation is dropped for some reason.
Without integrations the custom report feature is slow and confusing, because of the lack of knowledge how to analyze the reports and the data.

Pros: The fact that people can interact quickly and easily with us. Branded in our look & feel. And we simply see that it leads to better conversion rates .. this directly impacts our bottom line (positively!)

"Great for conversion tracking"
Pros: The platform is very suitable for e-commerce purposes as the conversion tracking is good, it's easy to keep up multiple chats simultaneously, and the platform comes with good reporting features. The customer support is very responsive.
Cons: It would be good to have better ways to organize the canned answers in order to find them better and get an overview of what topics are covered.

Overall: Giosg is a good all round chat software. Customer service and onboarding excellent. Lacks some of the features that other market leading software provides, but generally this is fine for a small business.
Pros: I selected Giosg against other providers primarily because it allows multiple websites with multiple users to login and see only there chats and chat history. This made it an attractive option for future omnichanel services.
Cons: The lack of analytics. Other chat as standard supplies IP address of visitors/chatters. We’ve had a few intermittent issues with the chrome chat notifications too.

Overall: Overall my experience has been very good - the product has worked well and you are able to get data you need from it as well.And the service from Giosg has always been excellent - we have been able to modify things to match better for our needs and in case of any trouble, we have always been able to get help really fast.
