Publisher Discovery is layered on top of all of our other recruiting efforts to ensure we are not missing out on any opportunities. Cons As with any technology, I would always love them to be less expensive, but I do think it's a fair price for the benefit. Affiliate Program Manager Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great tool for recruiting AFFILIATES and monitoring competition" November 16, 2021 5.0 Pros There are many prospecting tools out there, but most of them scrape search results for specific keywords and provide lists of websites, including competitors, that rank for those keywords but do not necessarily monetize their content through affiliate links. Publisher Discovery is the only tool I've used that looks for affiliate links. It helps you find not "cold prospects" but your competitors' affiliates, providing even traffic and contact information. You can build a list of hundreds of prospects in just a couple of hours. I also love the fact that they never stop improving and developing new feature, and the support team is amazing. Cons I would love an opportunity to build and export prospect lists or set up email workflows within the platform but I've only seen that provided by much more expensive platforms that did not have Publisher Discovery's accuracy in identifying prospects. Pros That I could search one KW and find many many others writing on this topic and even similiar topics Cons It is slow it is unusable most times- great concept but too much data to load. Having the ability to quickly sort through the sea of affiliates to pinpoint the most applicable matches has been of immense value, both for us and for our merchant partners. Pros Various filters and sorting tools can be utilized to customize searches and drill down on the most relevant affiliate matches within a wide variety of verticals. The interface provides easy access to affiliate details (i.e., top countries, contact info, partners, etc.), and keeps track of the affiliates that have already been contacted. The “My Competitors” section and Gap Analysis Tool help merchants gain a competitive edge when recruiting affiliates. Additionally, Publisher Discovery offers excellent customer support and has always been prompt in responding when I reach out. Cons It’s a lot to take in at first and getting used to the interface took some time, but the folks at Publisher Discovery were fantastic in answering my inquiries and helping to walk me through everything. Pros Love the ability our clients have compare their competitors affiliates against their brand, identifying new partnership opportunities. Also, very easy and fast to filter to focus on the appropriate segments by industry, country, etc. Cons Our clients love it as it is. It perfectly serves the goal of managing the discovery phase when launching a new program, or for identifying new affiliate opportunities when scaling your existing program. They are transparent about how they operate and work to include everyone. The range of pricing in their platform helps companies of all sizes to be able to get what they need. Pros You can find both new business opportunities AND check out your competition at the same time just by doing keyword searches. It's important to approach your research in both directions. Cons The free version doesn't allow you to sort only by your own country, but it's easy to see the countries after you click on the results. The paid version does do a lot more as well, as would be expected. It has evolved to becoming our go-to when recruiting blogs and analysing activity. Pros Support is excellent and the software is now a lot faster in pulling data. The entity search is also very useful. Cons There are some features I'd like to see, such as scheduled reporting. Also, due to the amount of data available, it can be quite a vortex but they do well in distilling the data.
