I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff, the continual software development and improvement. Pros TripLog Mileage has been a life saver for my finance team, allowing us to improve process controls for both employee mileage reimbursements and corporate credit card expense management. We were able to set up custom fields for our 7 segment accounting codes, allowing staff to give the finance team the coding directly. The use of mileage/trip verification to Google maps and the document management for receipts, in combination with supervisor and manager approval audit trails, has made our annual audits a breeze since Oct 1, 2022, when we launched. When we needed help to have a bank transaction feed, they spent hours to confirm the needed software development, shaving hours off my staff's processing time. The sync of the mobile app to the online website have made it easy for all the generations of our staff, making it easy for every level of user. It is a solid tool for an incredible price. Cons TripLog wasn't originally created for the non-profit industry, but is adaptable. Some of the settings (i.e. assigned vehicles, tracking odometer, etc.) aren't valuable to our organization, but some of them are able to be disabled. I've just learned how to maneuver around these. It then allows me to confirm my hours at client locations. Pros This program saves me more time and money than any other app. You can set it to automatically turn on when you drive and it tracks business and personal miles automatically when setup. Excellent customer support, fair pricing, accuracy and ease of use. Pros Customer support is great, especially by \[sensitive content hidden\] How accurate it is in tracking employee trips. Staff sometimes forget to add a location, but the gps feature shows where their car stopped and I can zoom in and get the location. Cons I have set up parameters, such as entering a client’s name and purpose of the trip. However, employees often neglect to enter that info. The drive does not work at all without your phone on, and the app open, and the AutoStart feature enabled on your phone. The USB is just a money grab, it does not actually do anything! Cons Unreliable products, that do not do what they advertise. Very complicated to setup, does not sync and does not accurately log trips, with or without their extra products. Customer service is blunt, and offers very little explanation or instruction. They asked me to download a third party app to try and fix their USB. When I searched the app on iOS, it doesn't even exist. They have side-stepped my request for refund so far. Just try another tracking solution, Triplog is not a reliable company or product. Even after precisely following the setup steps, the system does not work as advertised. It does work well if you have one car per account. At the end of the year, we can not get daily millage reports, only total year-to-date mileage, which proves the annual subscription useless. We will track the mileage manually in the future. Pros Autostart is a good feature. The only downside is that at the end of the year when you download a detailed report you only get the total milage whish is not sufficient for millage tracking. Cons We use multiple software and applications at our firm. Unfortunately, we found it extremely difficult to set up three separate vehicles under one account for our company. After four weeks of watching instructional videos, having the customer service, and all our management team involved, none of us was able to set it up. We decided to just go with the two vehicles, although we are paying for three, and just combine the reports from two vehicles into a third one. As it is the beginning of 2024, and we are trying to get daily mileage reports, we are finding out that they are simply not available. We only get the total mileage, which we can get from reading the odometer. We wanted a year of subscription and will be discontinuing the subscription. La possibilité aussi d'exporter les rapports de visites, d'ajouter les reçus d'essence. Il calcul aussi le coût au niveau de l'essence et de l'usure du véhicule selon le kilométrage parcouru et les montants des dépenses véhicules entrées. Cons Parfois si la distance n'est pas assez grande entre 2 commerces, il ne va pas démarrer, mais c'est peut-être aussi la configuration de la vitesse de détection que j'avais fait qui cause cela. The auto trip feature is not good, the multiple trips it creates if someone slows down or stops is confusing and time consuming for a admin to assist or fix. The other feature that is weird is when someone forgets to add the mileage, trip log sometimes starts over and it messes up the miles for trips after that. It does a good job keeping my miles in the proper irs format. It is fairly easy to use but some people may not think so as things change with updates. Cons I don’t like how the pricing structure has changed since I first signed up. I think it could have more control features without needing the new enterprise edition. It will show at times I need to close a trip but there is no trip open. And it will open a trip out of the blue at the time. A fix it needs is a way to close trips in bulk. That is the worst feature the ghost trips. Cons Now, it has evolved into a widget driven app on my phone that is not tracking mileage every time it's plugged in. Also, when moving from vehicle to vehicle the mileage tracking is spotty too. They should have left a good thing alone instead of trying to improve a thing that wasn't broke. I feel confident we are tracking our truck locations and capturing our miles. Pros I love how easy it is for the drivers to get started tracking their driving. It is very simple! I also like how I can login any time and see where my trucks are, where they have been, and the speed at which they traveled. Cons Once in a while we have had a trip or partial trip not show up or not record. Sometimes it does show up the next day. If it doesn't, you can manually add it into the system so you can still manage your miles for tax purposes. Cons What I like least about the software is the ability to reach customer support with an issue. You can not reach them by phone only by email. It has nice and new features compared to old school apps. They need improvement. I think they will do if they can think about the nice ideas and experiments. Pros Can track miles for the tax purposes as I am working as independent contractor. The company come up with idea of the flash drive kind of device along with application features. It prevents draining cell phone batteries and can accurately track mile. Also, it is useful when you will not have cell phone network and actually want to track the miles. Also, features of sync with business card to track transactions, to put a record of receipts for fuel. The nice thing about the flash device is that you can change mode to work and personal use of car. Can combine mileage data with the Inuit Quickbooks. Cons I didn't like that it seemed a little complicated to keep track of my mileage in an organized way. As a real estate agent I was looking for a more touch and go app that can adjust to my fast lifestyle.
