Their support and product knowledge is exceptionally.

Pros

It’s flexibility and functionality. The integration of auto posting payments through the app directly to the customers accounts.

Cons

Some aspects of the software do require some learning. Some of the functionality is quite complex. But this gives you great flexibility.

### "Everything you need in one package "

Pros

Connect software does all the management tasks that we need to run our business all in one programme. Parents love the ParentZone and we like the ability to easily run various reports to help that our management team operate efficiently.

Cons

As we were one of he first companies to use the software we have been a few teething problems as the software has evolved however they do get resolved

Improving as time goes on.

Pros

We like the fact that parents have access to the app whenever suits them especially if a child is upset we can directly forward some reassuring pictures to help ease anxiety. You can return to obs throughout period by saving info.

Cons

You cannot go back on register to check as to whether a child was in. From a parents perspective we cannot see how they see the app and upload images too Also sometimes it gets stuck and takes time to redo. And information is easily lost if it doesn’t save so you have to start again.

### "We could not manage without it! "

The service we receive is second to none - they follow up on every cal to ensure that any issues have been dealt with we have reduced our staffing costs due to their staff ratio module and are able to move staff to other settings to fill any gaps. The utilisation of staff accross 3 setting has greatly reduced the wage bill.

Pros

The fact that I can work from anywhere and manage all three nursery's from any where in the country. It is once you have had the training easy to use, does all our staff ratios, grant allocation and invoicing. The parentzone zone and I connect is easy for the practitioner to use, with parent partnership and two way communication playing a major part in our day to day activities. The management reports and widgits provide clear concise information. We have looked at other systems and nothing comes close.

Cons

The price! - it is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The software team are there to answer and question you might have and can log in and sort it for you if your struggling. There is always going to be cheaper options but its like buying a cheap car and a Rolls oyce the money you save in time far out ways the cost

Reason for choosing Connect Childcare

We looked at various systems over 2 years and there was nothing on the market at that time that could do everything, invoicing, staff ratios, funding , and then the staff tablets ( Iconnect ) staff registers, children registers, and the parentzone app. we attend trade shows and look at different systems and i still believe the connect childcare is still miles ahead of any competitor as an around package, with out the need to use 2 or 3 different systems

### "What I like about Connect"

Using Connect has helped us to reduce our debt as it gives you much more control and the information is straight at hand. It has improved communication with parents/customers and as the system is easy to use for observations and assessments, it means that my staff have more time to spend with the children rather than doing paperwork. The support is fantastic as any issues are addressed immediately. Also customers pay via an app so makes it easier for customers to pay. All staff training, contracts and information is in one place.

Pros

That I could manage staff, parents, billing, etc all from one computer

Cons

Inputting all the information initially was time consuming . Also advice when setting up the system would have been appreciated as some things are difficult to change once the system has been set up.

We loved Representative and the rest of the team when we met them. They make you feel important and not just another customer.The software ticked all of our boxes

As an early years setting we are so happy that we have transitioned to Connect. The team are very professional, very friendly and knowledgeable. They are always on hand to help with any issues that we may have. The reports produced are amazing and are extremely efficient. Iconnect has made tracking children's learning and development so much easier for our team and the parents LOVE the app.

I think face-to-face training upon the implementation stage would be very helpful.

Invoicing and debt management. Working in partnership with head office for enquiries.

Pros

Easy to use for invoicing and billing. Grants are easy to use and helpful to break down how funding has been applied to each childs account.

Cons

The icon of what you are selecting covers the actual icon you want can get annoying and difficult to see all icons clearly. Would like for the population figures to be quicker to calculate, would be great to move between rooms /age groups for a date range rather than reloading each age group to forecast a booking for a childs duration of care.

It has made our system easier to manage, less chance of mistakes being made and better used by staff to reduce time spent on tablets and increase interaction time with children

Pros

It was easy to use, variety of reports and options. The service provided allowed adaptability and consultants endeavour to make the system work for your needs.

Cons

It does contradict the above but some elements cannot be moulded to suit or needs so we have had to adapt our methods to match the system (but nothing that was a major issue for us) This was minimal in comparison to the impact it had.

We have had a really good experience with connect. Any issues are resolved quickly. Business productivity is so much better.

Pros

The system made life at nursery a lot easier for us. The fee side of things is brilliant and we have so much more time on our hands.

Cons

We didnt like the fact that we couldn’t log children’s absence reasons on the tablet but after putting this forward to the team this came as part of the last update so happy days.

A fantastic bit of software which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Pros

The invoicing feature saves time allowing 200+ people to be invoiced in minutes before we used to issue paper invoices which would have to be printed, given out etc.

Cons

All the data entry which has to be done at the start, however, with everything on a paper-based system before I appreciate Connect Childcare isn't responsible for this!

Cons

Back ground workings to connect some simple actions are complicated to solve and have many steps. Invoicing and payments don’t always get deducted from bill amount.

Connect Childcare is a great system, does just about everything we need it to do for full childcare management, invoicing, registers, staff rotas, etc. Excellent for parent partnership with Parentzone and for staff to record observations and assessments in Iconnect
