As a fashion intern, it helped me a lot to stay focused on designing instead of worrying about lost archives or broken attachments. Also, I didn't experience downtime that affected client or supplier communication.

Pros

Cloudiway feels calm and perfectly structured. They were clear about the timelines, didn't over promise, and handled years of emails, look books, and vendor threads without drama.I barely noticed the migration happening, which honestly was the biggest win during a busy production schedule.

Cons

The thing i don't like that sometimes i had to spend time in fixing permissions before things ran smoothly.

Pros

Super simple to setup and offers a good variety of options when it comes to hosting providers and 3rd party services.

Cons

The main downside was the lack of root access to the servers they provide, meaning certain simple tasks need to be done by support when I could have easily handled them myself.

very poor customer service - appears to be all done by bots. No humans are obviously involved and there is zero allowance for mistakes

Pros

generally works as expected and price seems ok. This said, their setup is complicated and mistakes are easily made and not forgiven.

Cons

Zero grace period for mistaken account deletion. I mistakenly cancelled my account and notified them within 1 hour - Too bad for me. Once you click the account deletion button everything is immediately gone forever and CANNOT be recovered. Do not use this company.

I used Cloudways for roughly one month to host my business site. During that period I saw no meaningful improvement in page speed or server response compared to my previous host. Because the service didn’t meet expectations, I cancelled the server after the first month. Despite cancelling, I continued to receive charges on my card. I reached out to support multiple times, provided dates and screenshots, and requested a refund for the period after cancellation. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved and I kept getting billed. For me, the combination of underwhelming performance, confusing billing, and slow resolution from support resulted in a bad overall experience. I’ve since switched to another provider, and the problems have stopped. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend Cloudways. If you do try them, keep careful records, take screenshots when you cancel, and closely monitor your billing statements.

Pros

Easy setup & clean dashboard — launching a server and apps is straightforward. 1-click staging & cloning — safe testing before going live.

Cons

Billing confusion — I was charged even after cancelling; the refund/closure process felt unclear. Invoices & proration can be hard to understand (pay-as-you-go across add-ons).

We used Cloudiway during a system change, and it helped us shift everything over without any mess or confusion.

Pros

Email and file transfers worked smoothly, nothing went missing. We didn’t have to bring in extra help just followed their instructions. The setup guides were easy to follow, even for non-technical staff.

Cons

It took some trial and error to figure out which settings to pick. Would’ve preferred live chat for quicker support at times.

Easy to use, helpful support that answers quickly and helpfully!

Somewhat pricey, but they make up for it with the features. Also, not an easy way to deploy Ruby on Rails apps and others.

Wish I could share screenshots here - my experience went from being a #1 fan of Cloudways to sharing all over how terrible they are. I run an agency that has relied on their services for years and they have steadily gotten worse month by month. I have screenshots & documentation from as far back as April reporting server issues. Suddenly performance took a nose dive and support keeps applying "optimizations" to the server which actually make it worse. Each screenshot shows one agent make a fix, followed by another that reverses the change saying it was incorrect, followed by the next redoing the change. This cycle has continued for months now and they refuse to do any real investigation.

Pros

It was once a great service - the platform itself is easy to use.

Cons

The support and back-end performance. Websites perform terribly, their support system has 0 idea what they are dong when configuring them and often breaks things. They offer no assistance to fix it and leave your server performing terribly.
