Instead, you can just focus on growing your business. Pros The best thing about Cloudways is that they offer the third-party hosting services as packages, so you get a better idea of what particular plan will suit you best. These plans also come with email hosting and backup, which is highly recommended if you're on WordPress. Cons In the beginning, I found the pay-as-you-go system a bit confusing. You're also limited to the cloud providers they have on the platform. I migrated over from needlessly complex Google Cloud platform where I previously lost three of my web applications due to configuration issues, that wasted my time without any solution. Also nice that you can pay hourly for the service if you just need it a short time. Pros Easy to deploy a new and secure server. No need to have your own DigitalOcean or AWS account as they just set it up for you. Cons Out of the box, it's mostly aimed at PHP hosting and currently lacking proper support for Node based webapps, so a bit more support for the Node ecosystem would be an improvement. Set it and forget it type of server management! Pros This is fully managed hosting on good servers. I like that the support will help you with almost anything and the control panel is the most user friendly I've used for this sort of thing. Cons The costs are high if you choose powerful servers, double the upstream provider cost. Also, Cloudways owns the server, not you. This makes me uneasy if there's ever an issue with Cloudways in the future, it could be difficult to get control of your data.
