Its a good tool that definitely has space to improve, but it gets the jobs done. I find it a bit bulky and slow at times which I hope they can improve on. Pros Pega Platform is pretty good for workflow automation and case management. its easy to implement business rules and the code management is well structured with rule sets and versioning. it also has good monitoring capabilities Cons There can be a large learning curve and although is "low code" it isn't easy to build complicated applications without coding knowledge or experience. Its also quite a heavy task to initially set-up and troubleshooting I personally found is a bit challenging. Pros I like the Pega Platform because it is easy to develop an application with minimum knowledge of coding. Pega provides different frameworks in which we can select the framework based on our requirements. Pega provides OOTB features which makes our work easy and simple. By having basic knowledge of case management we can easily develop an application that can be converted into Android and IOS applications. The debugging tools provided by Pega help me to track and debug the issues using tools like Clipboard, Tracer, PAL, etc. Cons For most of the issues, we find solutions in the Pega Community but for some issues, there are no solutions and the incident tickets are closed. As Pega releases new updated versions the old applications built on lower versions need to be upgraded then some issues are introduced as some rules are deprecated.
