Very positive, \[sensitive content hidden\] always called me back if unavailable, advice was trust worthy, explained clearly and backed up by case notes for ease of reference. Advisor \[sensitive content hidden\] always checked I had understood the advice given, checked my letters before they were cleared to be sent to employees, this increased my trust and feelings of safety in the advice given and my actions.

Pros

very responsive, always calls back. Detailed notes available after calls. Felt advice given was clear, supportive and backed by experts.

Cons

Letters and forms not always easy to find and or to know which paragraphs in a template to edit. Sometimes calls to an advisor were picked up by IT support rather than the advisor or a front desk which seemed a bit odd.

Helpful at responding to issues with learning the computer system, and practicing test employees in order to prepare and be efficient in the future

Pros

Left leaving more clear on how to navigate the computer system, having a teams call helped to go through it and get use to the different sections by doing a test run

Cons

The computer system takes time to familiarise and can be time consuming, if someone hadn't gone through with me I would have found it daunting to figure out by myself

BrightHR has been really easy to use and does not take much getting used to. I would recommend it for small teams who don't need the extra HR functions like rippling and automated onboarding etc.

Pros

Its simple and easy to use. Good value for money. As I induct new employees, I find it very easy to show others how to navigate around the system. It is good for storing documents, updating information and booking holidays. The rota system is easy to use too.

Cons

The functionalities are quite limited. If you are looking for a more in depth system, this is probably not the one to go with.

Positive - if things have been less positive, then contacting my account manager or other members of the team have resulted in these being rectified.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] is very responsive and very helpful. There have been several times I have contacted her for support, and she always follows up and gives reliable advice.

Cons

Other HR support has been less reliable, but this has now been fixed with access to advice and more responsiveness from other advisers too.

Good experience, good overall support. Account manager helpful and answered all the questions required.

Pros

Easy user interface, good support. Holiday tracker and good to use for all the staff. No issues overall.

Cons

Rotas are very limited in terms of timings. Timings are must and cannot just select as full day in. Currently having to use Excel sheet for our rotas due to difficulty selecting everyone and long term planning.

My initial experience has been great. I had a few queries which were responded and resolved promptly. The system is fairly straight forward for non-techs like me. Looking forward to working with the team at Bright HR going forward.

Pros

We have just started our contract with Bright HR and so far the staff have been very helpful in both on-boarding and initial online chats as I set up my team.

Cons

Its early days so no great concerns, other than in terms of annual leave, the system does not allow to put in exact dates for employees on fixed term contracts.

Very good experience with how to use the app with the online training. It will benefit the company hugely going forward.

Pros

A lot of options for the staff to use the app for holiday requests, rosters, hr files and having it in one place for staff is ideal.

Cons

Lots of introductory emails from many different people, it would be better for one person for intro and pass on to the different sections but that's just my view.

Still new to using the system but initial observations are that it is user friendly with lots of functionality.

The Chat function was very good. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very knowledgeable and very, very patient. the public holidays for Scotland need to be changed

Cons

It's quite muddling - I don't really have a lot of time to be able to sit and work it all out but I suppose it's like anything new. Tom was a great help
