Helpful at responding to issues with learning the computer system, and practicing test employees in order to prepare and be efficient in the future

Pros

Left leaving more clear on how to navigate the computer system, having a teams call helped to go through it and get use to the different sections by doing a test run

Cons

The computer system takes time to familiarise and can be time consuming, if someone hadn't gone through with me I would have found it daunting to figure out by myself

Overall it serves its purpose of time tracking just fine and is great for tracking leave but would love to see some automation in the Overtime management sections as that is my main reason for use.

Pros

Very handy for trackinghours, good system of reminders for clocking in and out, handy for tracking leaves and lots of different categories for specifications.

Cons

Very steep learning curve, can be extremely difficult to find the right section/function for what you're trying to do. Split up between several apps which hinders usability considerably and tracking overtime hours/inputting regular hours is left to those in 'manager' roles with special permissions, meaning all employees have to track their own overtime manually, day by day which is unsustainable and leads to a lot of guesswork due to the admin involved.

Pros

All our HR information is now in one place and the system is easy to navigate. Very supportive service team.

Cons

You are unable to amend a working time pattern if already set up, you have to create a new one, would be easier to amend a current one.

Pros

It is easy to use once you know how? I was talked through the process with ease. He was understanding of my needs and was able to talk me through it.

Cons

It is a good system, I just needed to expand my knowledge and understanding of the system. Overall I think the system is good.

It was easy once you got hang of the system, staff found it easy to track holidays as well as their hours.

Cons

the set up for the staff was a little bit tricky but once we knew how to do it and with the support of the team it was great.

The system looks really easy to use and the support is amazing. I have just started using it and already can see so many advantages over the old system

Very good experience with how to use the app with the online training. It will benefit the company hugely going forward.

Pros

A lot of options for the staff to use the app for holiday requests, rosters, hr files and having it in one place for staff is ideal.

Cons

Lots of introductory emails from many different people, it would be better for one person for intro and pass on to the different sections but that's just my view.

### "AVOID AT ALL COSTS - THEY MIS-SELL THE PRODUCT TO TIE YOU INTO AN EXTENDED CONTRACT"

This company tow the line of ethical business practice and should be avoided at all costs, especially if you are a small business. My PA signed us up many years ago and now i'm no longer in need of their (tbh basic HR system) they inform me that a 60 MONTH contract was signed. Digging online it seems this is their sales tactic, no mention of it and getting people to sign + will only cancel if 80% of the contract remainder is paid. It's funny as it took 2 weeks to get in contact with anyone to cancel, as they make it impossible to find a way to contact. However during my time with Bright HR I received upsell calls daily and despite telling the team my situation on wanting to leave i've received harrasment calls from the finance team 5+ times a day to the point they filled my voicemail. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Pros

It was extremely basic software perfect for a seemingly low cost option for HR.

Reason for choosing BrightHR

because my PA at the time was mates with someone who worked there, who demo'd with her directly and at no point during the sales process was a 60 month contract mentioned. This has happened to other business owners I know too and is disgusting behaviour from Bright HR, who's business model appears to be mis-selling, tying companies to contracts and then demanding payment despite the product not being used.

It's still a little daunting, as there is a lot of information to remember, but with the help of MO and CH I feel at ease. They have been so helpful and patient with me. The HR employment law team have also been very supportive of little queries I've had.

Pros

I'm new to BrightHR, I love how easy it is to use the payroll section. I like the way it tells Nest and HMRC and it's easy to amend.

Cons

It is a little too advanced for my business which is very small. There are a lot of different screens and sections to this site, that are not applicable to my company.

If you are an SME find another business to work with - because this one isn’t for you. Awful company. They miss sell you a product that doesn’t contain any of the promised features and despite finding out instantly and requesting to cancel they hold you to a 12 month cancel.

Pros

There is nothing that is worth the cost of bright hr in the price you pay.

Cons

Customer service is woeful. Miss selling - product features aren’t present Long term contract with no right to cancel Expensive Abysmal customer service
