March 13, 2018 4.0 I did not get any benefit directly, I had the opportunity to see its operation by a primary state residing in the United States, and I explain what it is and what is useful despite being so easy to use. Pros It allows you to work as a team from the app, you can send scheduled messages, schedule payments and even contact employees and customers as assignment of activities. Cons It is not an app available for all countries in the world, which is a great disadvantage, because despite being so simple in Venezuela would be very useful to process customer payments and control them. " December 17, 2023 3.0 Could this be a great booking system absolutely, but they have a lot of growth to get there. I’m a little more old fashioned. I like to do things from a computer. I like looking at things on a bigger screen and I also type much faster on a keyboard than my phone. Even though they have a “desk top version” it is almost useless. If you’re wanting to make settings changes to you app from a desk top, the chances from the desk top may not save. Forms: You can send intake forms to clients E-mail, so they have the option to fill the forms out on their computer or phone. However, if you want to fill out an internal form from your pocketsuit desk top to add to a client’s profile, for some reason, I couldn’t get the form to save. The only way for me to add a form to a client file, would be for me to fill it out on my phone. I refuse to fill out forms on my phone when I type 3 times faster on a key board. They’re marketing campaigns: If you are sending a marketing campaigns by text to clients they look fine. If you are sending the marketing campaigns to a clients email, they look like they came from a telemarketer or from a spam bot. They use this wired block text form that I don’t feel looks very professional. If you don’t want a credit card required when clients book, this is CERTAINLY not the software for you. Once you turn that feature on you can’t turn it back off. I have had to reset my credit card requirements time and time again. There is one of two reason I think my credit card settings keep being changed. Either the coding of there software is written in such a way that the credit card feature can’t be turned off, or every time they update pocketsuite, it changes your settings without your knowledge. Either way this is unbelievable frustrating. Which brings me to updates. This is why you should give this company a year before you join them. They are constantly adding things, changing things, which is great until they change all your settings without you knowing. I have NEVER allowed clients to do online same day appointments. Clients are welcome to call for a same day appointment, but booking online isn’t something I allow. They did an update to their calendar booking, THEY CHANGED all my settings. All of a sudden my booking requirements were changed. I had someone book, without me knowledge, for a same day appointment. Thank god I only live 8 minutes from work, but I was completely caught off guard by this. I was scrambling to get out of my house and I was late to my appointment. You want to talk about unprofessionalism. I’m building a BRAND NEW business and I was late to a new clients appointment. Last but not least there online booking from a computer. If you have clients that like to book from a computer, don’t use this software. I am booking my own clients because people think that my booking page is for returning clients only. They have a page, from the desk top version, that is telling you to put your phone number in to log into your account. So my new clients are texting me asking if I can book their appointments for them. Hopefully with the update they did on \[sensitive content hidden\] changed this, but I’m not sticking around to find out. Pros I like that they are trying to be an all encompassing scheduling system. It’s quite impressive how they are building this booking system, but they are still working out the bugs. Cons If you like to do things from your computer vs. doing everything on you phone. I save so much money and I've literally put my business on cruise control. I have all of my clients set up on subscriptions that auto-renew the packages for my clients every month so I can focus on my classes and privates. About to head on vacation now thanks to PS! Pros I love the ability to automate a huge chunk of the communication with my clients via text. (or email if they prefer). The credit card rate is very competitive. They templates feature makes it so simple to follow up, send reminder messages, and so much more! Their support is amazing. Very responsive to texts! They take your money for accepting payments through their software before they can actually deliver on what they promise. Seems kinda shady to me and I will definitely be contacting the BBB Pros I initially liked the software....but they charged my card twice but for some reason can't find the second charge on their end.....even though its in their account and not mine Cons Customer service and wait times....very slow verifying you. They have a Premium+ plan which allows you to schedule all of your workers and send them payments through the app. I'm constantly on the go, and the fact that I can do EVERYTHING from my phone is crucial. If you need any sort of payments, scheduling, messaging, or invoicing platform, DON'T look further! They also have a killer support team who seems to be always available and open to hear my feedback. I have gone from 0 to 34 members in under a year which means sustained income. Thank you! Pros I really love how simple it is to manage settings in PocketSuite. Also, campaign texts, buy now pay later options, and subscription offering really have helped me scale my business and take on more clients. It's also easy to manipulate your schedule and haven't has a single issue when it comes to charging cancellations or people not paying invoices. Cons I really wish appointment rebooking reminders were free like other apps. Also, the system interacts with blocks which I use as breaks so I either constantly have to move the break to make sure I have a full book or things get booked wonky because of the interference with the buffer. Lastly, the system needs a solid waitlist option. They just don't have a good feel for what their business owners actually do and how people use/experience their software as a client/pro and as a customer. Pros It is a cheaper alternative to fitness studio booking software packages. It allows set up of group classes, workshops, and private services. The credit card transaction fees are lower than its peers. Customer service is friendly, if not attuned to problems. I think they want to make this a better app. More than once they have arranged for me to talk with a product manager or a developer to troubleshoot bugs, and they listen. Cons When they fix something, they break something else. Because they serve so many different vertical industries (yoga studio, dog walking, pet sitting, massage therapy) and business models (sole proprietor, business owner with employees or contractors). Also, when I decided to pass on the the transaction fee to my clients letting PocketSuite add it to a package, my payout was STILL LESS THAN the price of the package. Isn't that the point? To receive the FULL PRICE for your package? I'm shaking my head. Waitlist: sounds like a good feature, but it's not when people on the waitlist CAN'T SEE when they are on the waitlist without clicking through a bunch of dates! Only one setting for late cancelations: this global decision affects all services equally. It would be nice to control that by category or by service. As I was finishing massage school PocketSuite was by far the most highly recommended platform to use by my instructors and other professionals in the industry. It can be easily and seamlessly accessed on either a desktop or mobile device, it’s simple and straightforward on the client facing end, and really is just the whole package for just about any self-employed kind of business.
