The organization and presentation of these docs was great. Cons I am on a personal crusade to have UX designers embrace full dark colors on a light background. Fun and easy to understand. Pros I Liked how user friendly the software was! I like the step by step walk throughs and it was very straight forward. Easy to understand. Very well organized compared to other on-boarding apps have used in the past. GUI is easy on the eyes and has good flow. When I logged out and back in, was right where I left off. Really enjoyed seeing the team I am working with and all the new hires coming on board with me. Cons I did experience when I was signing a document the information boxes covered some of the content to view what I needed to input into a couple of boxes. Overlay was hiding text. Cons It's very glitchy on a phone. I tried on-boarding through my phone, it was very tedious. I couldn't understand what was missing, site isn't responsive enough for a phone. It also helped me meet my new colleagues while working remotely. Cons It is not necessarily that I don't like but I wish there were more features implemented in your applications. All the information I needed was in one spot and easy to find without a cluttered UI. Pros I liked that Sapling's UI is clean and intuitive. Mostly, I like that it loads fast and just works without bugs. Cons Unsure if Sapling was responsible, but some of the forms for filling out W4 / tax documents were hard to navigate and use. The textboxes weren't always obvious which ones had to be filled out, and the allowances forms were split into 2 parts but the ordering didn't make sense logically (the worksheet where you calculate the allowances was presented after we had to fill out the W4 - would have been nice to have that earlier). It was crystal clear regarding the tasks I needed to complete, it prompted me when I did not fill out mandatory information, and it clearly showed the tasks I'd completed as soon as they were finished. Just left me with a confidence that all the pre-boarding items I needed to complete were done satisfactorily. Pros Just a very clean interface - everything clear, easy to navigate, and overall a painless experience. Cons I originally opened it with Internet Explorer. Not sure which version I was on, but all the fields were not there. Problem went away when I opened Sapling up in Chrome. I loved the introduction into my new company prior to starting the on-boarding process. This was a "step above" other software that I have utilized previously. Also, I am a stickler for summaries, so the final page stating I was "DONE" was perfect. It left me with the confidence that I would not be receiving a call from my new management team informing me that things were "incomplete". Great job, Sapling! Pros It was super easy and flowed smoothly from one transition to the next. Cons That the software would not let me move on in the process without filling in SOMETHING for certain entry places. I appreciated that I could find all the information I would need in one place. It was helpful to be able to write a short bio for myself to introduce (or reintroduce myself) to team member and to put names to faces before arriving on my first day. Also, having a timeline of the company's history was interesting to see what milestones they placed value on. Cons I really haven't had any negatives with Sapling yet.
