Pros

  • Vicki Rothwell was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and a pleasure to work with. The whole staff is great.

  • Sensitive content hidden] was fantastic to work with. He provided some great insights on how to optimize our business and data and overall was fun to work with while setting this system up.

  • Everyone at SnapInspect is so nice and helpful. The app is very user friendly and the team at SnapInspect really cares about us feeling supported and setup in order to streamline property inspections.

  • SnapInspect offers excellent value for the money - And importantly, they offer excellent service after the sale - This is a quality product made and backed up by a top-notch people.

Cons

  • The pricing plan didn't match our preferred approach for being charged.

  • I don’t believe there is anything that I have found thus far that is negative.

  • Some instruction language may have been confusing.

  • I still struggle when I create a new inspection there are always errors on the report side.

"Makes inspections a breeze"

Overall: SnapInspect has saves many hours vs our old paper-based inspections. It also makes storing photos along with the inspections super easy.

Pros: By setting up your inspections ahead of time it saves time in the field.

Cons: Some additional options to customize PDF reports would be great.

"Excellent Product for the Price and Features"

Overall: My experience has been a 10 of 10! I highly recommend this software.

Pros: The ease of use through the mobile app, saving templates of properties for multiple inspections over time, the report layout, and the customization have been extremely helpful. I will not switch software and highly recommend it to my colleagues.

Cons: It would be helpful if the reports were integrated into our software; however, I like using it because it is used by a contractor and presents itself as a separate report to help clients and Tenants feel that the report's accuracy is valid.

"Overall review "

Overall: The overall experience went very well from beginning to the end.

Pros: Very easy to Navigate around and find things.

"Best support I have ever experienced"

Overall: Everything from using the software, contacting support has been super nice. There is a 12 hour time difference but their staff are waking up at 4 am to answer my questions.

Pros: How much time it save me and is easy to use on the go.

Cons: Nothing so far. Everything has been customized to my needs.

"Property Maintenance company using Snap Inspect "

Overall: Overall experience is great. I have been using the software for about a month now and I am very pleasure. Easy to organize properties, customize inspections, schedule inspections and much more. The onboarding process was also very helpful.

Pros: Snap inspect files properties as buildings. This is very helpful when filing or running our inspections

Cons: When editing an checklist/ inspections you can customize the options or their are two drop downs on the left that can help. One is called "Pre-made Controls" and the other is called "Controls in this template". I don't like that you cant edit the controls in "Controls in this template".

Alternatives Considered: Palmtech Home Inspection Software
Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: We decided to go with snap inspect over these alternatives because of the reviews. They seemed to have a high success rate.

"Property Inspection Made Easy "

Overall: Excellent customer service, prompt and knowledgeable support staff. User friendly interface and intuitive design make it incredibly easy to navigate!

Pros: User friendly interface ensuring hassle free experience

"Snap Inspect for Safety Inspections "

Overall: I would give the sales and IT department a 5 Star review. I have zero complaints. Very very helpful setting everything up.

Pros: The ease of setting up your own forms. I have customized my inspections around safety, for vacant apartments occupied apartments, Interior building inspections along with exterior safety inspections.

Cons: Entering the details on my property assets. This has nothing to do with Snap Inspect I just have a lot of assets to enter.

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: Ease and I have not run into any issues with the system locking up or not working. It is critical in my position that app runs when needed. So far very reliable.

"SnapInspect was what I was looking for"

Overall: Excellent, highly recommended, has already saved me alot of time in only the first couple of weeks using it.

Pros: I was struggling to find a good customizable inspection software, I tried some free trials but essentially got mired down on the learning curve. The SnapInspect team followed up after I let my demo expire and provide a zoom call to show the benefits and walked me through the system so I could see the benefits. I ended up able to customize my inspection templates to exactly what I needed, and modifications on the templates are easy, much more so than other apps.

Cons: Nothing really, pricing could always be lower for a small business!

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: They reached out and provided an excellent demo, and provided a discount on the onboarding phase as well.

"SnapInspect was perfect for our needs"

Pros: When we started our property management company, we were limited in our software options due to the number of properties we managed. My team researched options and found SnapInspect to be our best option for move-ins and move-outs. We used SnapInspect until we were able to transition to a more intricate property management software which has its own internal inspection platform. I would not hesitate to go back to SnapInspect if there was ever a need in the future.

Cons: Lack of ability to zoom in and out with the photos, and ability to edit the template in the field or in the middle of an inspection

"Continually impressed."

Overall: Wonderful company and people. Our onboarding person Vicki Rothwell showed extreme patience with our unique requests and a change of our representative during the onboarding.

Pros: We critically reviewed at least 10 different software packages and developed a spreadsheet of all the inspection features we wanted. SnapInspect outshined all other available software.

Cons: I would like to have a title above each dropdown. This can't yet currently be done for all of the options.

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: Based on our thorough review and comparison of the available options, SnapInspect was head and shoulders better at meeting our requirements and wish list.

"Love SNAP"

Overall: I really have enjoyed using this program since we started back in 2017. It really helps us communicate with our owners and tenants, there are so many options with SNAP and it is very customizable which my company needs as we are very niche with our processes. I also love that I can download all the data into a report so I can target what are my trouble areas quickly

Pros: I love that it is so easy to use and train new team members, I love the ease of the back end. If there are errors in reports they can be corrected or if you have pictures or video to add external SNAP has made that possible. We love that it has a video option, I have not found this in any other Inspection Platform.

Cons: I still struggle when I create a new inspection there are always errors on the report side. This is not a SNAP issues, I just do not fully understand how to create it and design the layout I am looking for.

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: It was due to the video option. however now that we have been using this for 6 years and over 10 thousand inspections, in addition to the video I love the customization with report making. We have some very unique inspections that require more than just basic outlines and SNAP allows us to do this.

"Customer Review"

Pros: As a new business owner, I have been juggling working a full time job while trying to run my company. I reached out to Snap Inspect to learn more about the software as I was manually inputting data into a word doc and converting to PDF with thousands of photos on my phone. After 3 minutes with [sensitive content hidden] I basically told them to shut up and take my money. This app has everything and then some! Years of working in property management with different apps and software, this is exactly what I have pictured as the perfect program for inspections, whether that be move-in / move-out or spring and fall inspections. I can even use it for onboarding new properties, so I know the exact condition they were in when I took over management. Not only is the app amazing beyond words, the team at Snap Inspect is out of this world. [sensitive content hidden] made me feel like family, with encourage words and truly taking the time to get to know me and my company. [sensitive content hidden], who is the absolute best at training, checked with me every step of the way to ensure I knew the app inside and out. Not only that if I ever run into issues they have 24/7 support available. Honestly, I do not think there is a better company out there with such an incredible app or warm and welcoming team. "Great product and excellent value along with high quality service and support"

Overall: SnapInspect offers excellent value for the money - And importantly, they offer excellent service after the sale - This is a quality product made and backed up by a top-notch people. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a standalone one-stop inspection solution.

Pros: SnapInspect has been an invaluable tool for our company - We've used it as the cornerstone of our inspection recordkeeping. It's portable, flexible, dependable and never caused a single problem. I can't say that about any other software our organization uses.

Cons: We didn't run in to a situation that left us wanting for any other features. It was easy to use, easy to train others to use, was built on a robust platform, never had any downtime, and provided value - There was no downside.

"Extremely Valuable Resource"

Pros: Easy to use, easy to setup. Great help and support for [sensitive content hidden] in getting everything tweaked to suit our exact requirements. With managing such a large portfolio of properties, Snapinspect gives us a vital insight into each building and a level of familiarity that would otherwise be impossible.

Cons: n/a - I have used Snapinspect in a previous role and knew upon my appointment to a new role, that we'd Snapinspect would be valuable

"1 week review of Snapinspect"

Overall: Fantastic experience with [sensitive content hidden]. Both very professional.

Pros: Very high level onboarding. The inspections can be customized to match the inspections we were already performing and provide a high amount of relevance.

Cons: There were a couple of minor things we wanted that it could not do.

"Full-featured, Easy-to-use, Excellent support"

Overall: Very positive experience, from initial sales demonstration to handholding throughout the implentation period.

Pros: Nearly completely met our needs as-is. Sales team proactively onboarded us and ensured that the application would work according to our needs; it was not "take-it-or-leave-it." And, they customized the product to match our workflows. Support is available quickly. Sales team is friendly and willing to help.

Cons: The pricing plan didn't match our preferred approach for being charged. However, it was acceptable.

"This super tool will enable our company to expand!"

Overall: This tool has streamlined our inspection process to such an extent, that I feel it will be easy to hire and train more Property Managers or Inspectors, which means we can grow faster.

Pros: The ease of use on my mobile device, plus the amount of time we're saving. This will be a real game-changer for us!

Cons: Nothing that I can think of at the moment.It

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: The other tools did not have what we needed to manage our inspection processes.
Reasons for Switching to SnapInspect: We want to get more done with the same amount of people on the team. We were looking for a long time for something that "checks all our boxes" and does what we need it to do.

"Good product, Great Support Team"

Overall: [sensitive content hidden] were excellent. I'm pushing the limit of what snap inspect can do, and they both were excellent in working through accommodating our use case. In all honesty, if they weren't so willing to try and find solutions within their limits, we more than likely would have moved on to another option. Great job guys.

Pros: Honestly, [sensitive content hidden] are the biggest asset.

Cons: For what we're looking for in an inspection software there are definitely limits to the customizations with reporting and how the inspections are laid out. The integration with RentManager could provide more options for automation.

"SnapInspect"

Overall: I have used different inspection software for the past 13 years and never really found one that fit all my needs. They have custom tailored the program to fit my companies needs. This software is the easiest and most efficient product to use for any inspections. Customer service is out of this world, and [sensitive content hidden] were great to work with through the start up and onboarding process.

Pros: Ease of use and the onboarding were great.

Cons: Nothing, no complaints about the company.

Reasons for Switching to SnapInspect: Company Cam would not tailor a program to my companies needs.

"Inspecting like I have never inspected before."

Pros: I like everything about this program and app. What I liked most though, is that I can get my report 100% custom made to my needs and wants and SnapInspect employees make it happen every time.

Cons: Have not used it long enough to make this decision. I can say as of right now there is nothing I do not like about SnapInspect.

Reasons for Choosing SnapInspect: SnapInspect jumped out at me right away, by the approach they had when looking at how they offered their trial to learn and use their program and app. They asked if I wanted a free demo, where all the other companies I looked at wanted to let me just try their system for a period of time without having a clue how to use it. Good job SnapInspect.

"Everything works seamlessly "

Overall: A very personalised onboarding experience that allowed us to ensure we are making the most of all its features.

Pros: You can tell the software has been specifically designed to handle large inspections and the UI is great.

Cons: Nothing negative to raise so far. We have finalised the onboarding process and our team are very happy with the software so far.

"Rental Truck Inspections"

Pros: We were able to take our paper inspections and turn them into digital ones. Now there is less lost papers and confusion about what data needs to be collected when checking out and in trucks.

Cons: At this time, we haven't had an issue. Any questions we have had, have been answered by the support staff within 24 hours.
