Pros: Sharpspring does a phenomenal job of bringing marketing automation and analytics to companies at a price that is much more achievable than some competing software.

Cons: While Sharpspring is capable of bring automation and analytics to the game at a great price, the company is still in it's growth and development phase; sometimes lacking features but have done well sticking to their rollout schedule.

Overall: Great software that brings a lot of features at a price much lower than most of their competitors.

Pros: Sharpspring is a great all-inclusive CRM and marketing automation platform for small businesses. The platform has a ton of features that can really help a business get solid intelligence to plan outbound prospecting and marketing automation.

Cons: There are a ton of features but none of them that work perfectly. SharpSpring tries to be a lot of things to a lot of people, but it doesn't hone in on one feature and do it better than anyone else. My biggest problem with the platform is that it's unreliable and the customer service is rather poor when I do have issues.

Overall: An all-in-one platform that doesn't require me to export contact lists to a CRM or email outreach automation tool.

Pros: Very intuitive and easy to use. Helps track leads and ROI for all marketing $ spent. The SharpSpring team has been a great partner for us and helped us use the platform to grow our business.

Cons: Manual data entry can be a little clunky. You have to be fully committed. You have to spend the time developing your work flows and have your team implement and use 100% or the benefits are greatly diminished.

Pros: The life of the lead really brings your sales and marketing together it allows every user to see what's going on with that particular lead to reduce confusion and/or duplication in communication. With all the analytics it has reduced all the large spreadsheets for monitoring your marketing activities I can now use SharpSpring for everything and I am looking forward to the Social Media scheduling coming shortly to really complete the product!

Cons: No calendar in SharpSpring at the moment but I believe this is coming with the social media scheduling!

Pros: In general the product is just great, but what really makes SharpSpring unique is their on-boarding program. You really feel appreciated as a customer while you learn everything you need to know about the product. SharpSpring has highly skilled professionals at your service. After completing their on-boarding program you are ready to generate ROI.

Cons: A few minor bugs in the SW, but you can always find a work around. Landing pages are currently not allowing https.

Pros: I was looking for a way to combine my smart marketing automation with our CRM tool--so finance, sales and marketing could all be on the same page and trackable via one dashboard. SharpSpring was our top choice, and since day one, throughout the 6-week onboarding process, and now to my 20+ team's daily use, our firm is better for it.

Cons: You have to commit to it-- it can't be just a good idea that you assign to others and there's no follow there. Your entire team- from marketing to sales to finance- should see this as necessary infrastructure for the modern organization and should invest hours on the onset to train on the system. It takes a full 6 weeks.

Pros: Initially, the biggest feature was the lack of sticker shock associated with purchasing this software. We are a small marketing agency that drank the HubSpot Kool-aid so to speak. We signed on and went through all the training to become an Agency Partner. While it's great software, the price tag puts it outside the realm of feasible for most small business budgets. We found ourselves having to cut our own profits to get people to sign up for it and then they were frustrated at the year contract. SharpSpring solves that problem. They have the main automation product that goes head to head with HubSpot for features in every way for significantly less monthly investment and no lengthy contracts. Then they have the Mail+ product that's great for the really small clients. It has some limits on features, but offers a way lower price point for baby-stepping a client into the platform. And the most impressive thing was their onboarding process. They gave me unlimited access to a dedicated human while I was getting things set up and learning to use it for the first 60 days. The coolest part to me was that he was able and willing to deviate from the typical onboarding script. Instead of putting me through the usual paces, we spent our sessions diving into my client's needs and getting things set up. That saved me so much time and allowed me to onboard 8 clients in the first 2 months.

Cons: The landing page builder stinks- but honestly, I use Thrive Architect and WordPress anyway, so this didn't matter to me. When I pitched a feature request at them to look at Thrive Architect, the dev team said they were already talking to the owner of Thrive Themes and looking at how to either integrate it or build a similar tool. If they do anything even close, it would be awesome. And they don't have social publishing yet, but I'm told it's coming soon... fingers crossed.

Pros: ease of use, innovative software that really is easy to use, very intuitive and has some great functionality that is very well thought out. A lot of the features are constantly improving which is good, and the support is second to none.

Cons: editing system for emails is not user friendly, the html editor is outdated, but once you manage this its ok.

Overall: primarily it is an add on service to my business - it provides a platform for us to offer more for our clients.

Pros: Price is GREAT for marketing automation, sales funnel, email, lead scoring, etc, especially if you have a large list. (You need to work through an agency to get the best price)

Pros: Can really get started quickly. From importing current contacts via CSV to sending those initial contacts an email, it's fast, simple and can bring some great results. Our agency began using SharpSpring in late 2016 after we compared other marketing automation platforms. The pricing structure was just what our growing digital agency needed...not to break our bank, but to allow us to mature and grow and provide awesome automation solutions to our client base. Our agency doesn't have a sales team, we're just made up of a handful of partners currently, and we're able to nurture new clients and grow our leads into customers all by utilizing workflows and email campaigns. Couldn't grow without SharpSpring.

Cons: One thing that comes to mind is SharpSpring is still considered "young" in the MA space. But with all the changes and integrations their dev team is implementing, SharpSpring could "spring" to the top of the list very soon.

Pros: SharpSpring offers a wide range of features that were previously only available to larger companies. Now small and mid-sized companies have affordable access to software that streamlines and activates lead generation, contact handling, sales management, and analytics. We¿ve found SharpSpring ideally suited for clients that want to layer marketing automation over existing marketing platforms. SharpSpring is a highly flexible service, offering integrations with many popular apps including Salesforce and Google Adwords as well as Shopify and Magento for ecommerce businesses.

Cons: No complaints here. We have given feedback during the onboarding process and received excellent support from highly trained and responsive staff. SharpSpring is just a few years old, so updates are frequent and expected for the future. ¿

Comments: This is a relatively new service (est. 2014), so expect frequent updates. SharpSpring also encourages our team to give feedback along the way, during customer service calls and onboarding. They are quick to respond with software enhancements that create the best customer experience. If any problems come up, we have always received speedy responses from highly skilled, knowledgeable customer support that resolve any issues quickly.

Pros: SharpSpring gives our digital marketing team the ability to offer clients sophisticated, affordable automation that was previously only available to Fortune 500 companies and the large agencies. We are able to offer so much more value to our clients by vastly expanding our in-bound marketing capabilities and services ¿ email campaigns, landing pages, CRM, sales management, etc. We offer our clients the ability to fully integrate sales and marketing into one tool that increases productivity, marketing relevance, and sales revenues. The month-to-month billing and open structure make it a cost-effective choice compared to other services. SharpSpring gives Parallel the ability to establish a long-term, monthly subscription-based revenue stream, while offering clients greater depth of measurable customer data and boost ROI.

Pros: Again, multiple tools related to all aspects of email marketing, blogging, analytics, organic traffic, paid media, crm (pipeline management, sales revenue), customer intelligence, ¿and others.

Cons: Like any platform, they could use advances with the mobile app or delivery or additional crm features.

Overall: Our election to use sharpspring was based on wide variety of tools in one for a nice flat rate as opposed to the way we had been used to living.....multiple pay per month/per user tools with only one function.

Recommendations to other buyers: Every platform you adopt will require adjustments to the way you ¿or your clients operate their lives! Before ¿adopting¿ any solution consider the way your business will use it¿, how you will roll it out, and if you believe it will be welcomed by everyone in your organization. Pros: SharpSpring allows you to customise many different options. It's extremely powerful and is brilliant value for money compared to products such as Hubspot. The support has been excellent and the SS team are constantly releasing new features and seem very approachable with new ideas and questions.

Cons: Being so powerful and customisable means there is a steep learning curve in setting up SharpSpring. Running it is simple enough but for an entrepreneur or person in a role where marketing is only one part of their function, the learning curve could definitely be too steep if you don't have help setting it up and getting it going.

Overall: We use SharpSpring as a comprehensive solution for our agency. It's our CRM, email marketing tool and all of our ROI for campaigns is measured in SharpSpring. We also offer clients the same benefits - to bring sales and marketing into one system so they can work together and increase ROI.

Pros: SharpSpring offers effective, powerful tools for digital marketing in a single application. It allows me to offer affordable automation to my clients for their email campaigns, landing pages, CRM, and sales management.

SharpSpring offers fair agency-focused pricing at a fraction of what Infusionsoft, HubSpot, and Ontraport charge.

The price offered to agencies allows me to pay less than end-users, decide what I want to charge my clients, and operate without concern that they will simply go around me and compete for my customers.

I start with the ability to manage up to 100,000 contacts and three client accounts without paying extra. And I have the freedom to operate the tools on behalf of the customer, offer only the tools the customer needs, or offer the full suite of tools directly for customer use.

They provide fast and reliable "real-person" support when I need it. SharpSpring team members are the most helpful and friendly people in the business. All support comes directly from their headquarters in Gainesville, Florida delivered by kind and knowledgeable staff who are truly dedicated to my success.

Cons: SharpSpring has only been in operation since 2014, so some features are still in development. However they are eager to consider suggestions from agency partners and constantly working to improve the product. With such great customer service and an already impressive set of tools, a little patience for upcoming developments is a small price to pay.

Overall: I received the ability to help my clients on a whole new level. I am now able to offer tools and functionality that only large firms could previously afford. With email marketing, landing page building, automation, CRM, and sales management capability, I can provide more and better service to my customers than ever before.

Pros: SharpSpring is great on so many levels which is why, as a small agency we chose it. It has an excellent range of features versus much more expensive solutions and their customer service is superb. The tech team are incredibly quick to respond and stay in touch until any issues are resolved. The onboarding process which is included is also excellent and Matthew, my onboarding specialist was incredibly patient, helpful and attentive. There's a massive amount of positives, but overall they simply have hit the sweet spot of affordability, power and customer service that is almost impossible to beat when you look around.

Cons: Like any software, there are some clunky things in the UX. That said, I always submit feature requests which the team assess and then reply on which is great. They are always improving things and there is nothing in there that is a major problem or impediment to me doing my job.

Overall: As a B2B marketing agency, SharpSpring takes our offering to the next level by enabling us to offer a powerful marketing automation solution to customers at no extra cost to them. The unique and affordable pricing structure means that we can onboard clients with little friction whereas other competitors want us to charge clients £500 a month or more to license the software from us which makes it really hard.

Pros: SharpSpring offers a robust platform with all of the features necessary to launch email campaigns, website visitor tracking, lead scoring, landing page generation and much more. The transition from our previous software was easy thanks to it's intuitive interface and a great support team. I also transitioned 2 clients who seem to love it.

Cons: It does so much that I often forget all of the 'bells and whistles' it comes with, and where they are on the platform. The software is easy to use, but learning and remembering all we can do with it can be daunting.

Overall: Easy transition from previous platform. Easy to learn and easy to train others. Very intuitive compared to others.

Pros: The easy of use and support have been amazing. It was very easy to start with either marketing automation or CRM. We chose to start with CRM first. Setting up and using the CRM function took a few minutes and I use it every day, all day. It easily integrated with our Google business Apps and has made organizing our sales data seamless and simple.

Cons: Since our experience to date has been mostly in the CRM area we haven't pushed the system on the marketing automation side. However, the CRM function is easy and simple. With ease you sacrifice some capabilities found in other CRM specific apps. The OOTB sales and pipeline reports could be more robust. I have not explored any other reporting options which might exist.

Overall: We've taken a completely disorganized mess of sales data and information and have been able to easily store it in one location. Until SharpSpring we didn't have a pipeline. Our opportunities and forecast existed only in a few people's heads... not a good place to store critically vital information required to grow our business.

Pros: Our company has been using SharpSpring for over a year now. Not once have we ever encountered a problem that wasn't resolved within the hour through SharpSpring's speedy customer support. The features built within this CRM go way beyond others while still remaining extremely competitive with the pricing.
Another amazing aspect of this software is the simplicity. While SharpSpring is extremely diverse and has countless features and tools, it still remains relatively simple to train our new hires on the system. Sharpspring creates the ability to seamlessly integrate marketing automation within the CRM. The drip email options have saved and gained myself and our company as a whole, countless opportunities that before would never have been reached. As a smaller agency slowly growing into a large agency, our experience with SharpSpring has done nothing but strengthen and encourage our growth. Small, Large, or Medium - SharpSpring can truly solve all of your CRM needs and more.

Pros: Having used multiple CRMs, Emailing Software, and Marketing Automation platforms I have fallen in love with SharpSpring because it has allowed us to merge these separate platforms into one robust, high quality platform. From an Agency perspective, one of the things I love most is the ability to put in a trouble ticket or pick up the phone and get a swift response to my question or concern from a real live person located here in the United States.

Cons: The only Con I have to date is the amount of features available to the platform. It's quite a learning curve. However, when you take into consideration the amount of functionality available, it's expected that there will be a bit of a learning curve.

Overall: Increased sales and increased efficiency through being able to prioritize marketing campaigns and sales leads.

Pros: SharpSpring is a sleek system that offers outstanding tools for marketing automation. We researched a lot of platforms ranging from free to $1000s before going with SharpSpring. They have just the right amount of features that makes it the most useful for all of our clients, leaving off the bells and whistles that would inflate the price.

Their interface is top-tier which makes using their system a breeze. The dashboard gives you a comprehensive look at everything you're running. Moving around the system is super simple and they make it easy to jump to different areas when you're building a sales program. I'd urge you to check out all the features on their website because there are too many to list, but I can say that what they have offered us is unbelievably comprehensive.

We've also taken full advantage of their support which is outstanding. They have always been knowledgable and very friendly. Moreover, they won¿t let you off the phone until they are sure that the problem has been resolved! They also offer FREE continuing education programs like webinars to help make you more proficient at their program.

SharpSpring is a superior marketing automation platform, with a very intuitive interface and offer the kind of support we have rarely seen in tech companies. They have worked harder to earn and keep our business than any other vendor we've ever worked with. You would do yourself a giant favor to give their system a test drive.

Cons: I was not prepared for the steep learning curve that is required to take full advantage of this platform. I was a bit discouraged at first by everything there was to learn but I realized it's part of working with such a comprehensive platform. It's like moving to a new town and trying to figure out all the roads and highways. I don't know if that's really a con but it is something you must be aware of. You're going to need to spend some serious time learning it but once you do, navigating the system easily becomes second nature.

Overall: SharpSpring is a superior marketing automation platform, with a very intuitive interface and offer the kind of support we have rarely seen in tech companies. They have worked harder to earn and keep our business than any other vendor we've ever worked with.

Pros: I am the Office Manager & Content Writer for our firm, so SharpSpring and other such programs are not my forte. That being said, I have found SharpSpring fairly easy to use in my weekly work life. We use SharpSpring internally for blasts, campaigns, and CRM and we also have 4 clients (soon to be five) using SharpSpring for their clients.

I use it mainly for onboarding new clients. I love the smart email option, and the custom fields. This makes my job a lot easier when I input a new client in as a contact and update all of their custom fields then just click send. I am able to track which documents the clients have opened, etc.

In the future, I plan on implementing my own onboarding automation as follow ups and reminders to clients to complete their onboarding process. I also plan on moving my onboarding forms into SharpSpring so that my entire onboarding process is in one place.

I've only been with the firm (and this product) for a few months, but I'm loving it all so far!

Cons: The things I have found that were missing, or confusing, or anything like that so far, have always been answered quickly by SharpSpring support, or are currently being implemented for future activation. Recently I reached out to support because there was no SOP for onboarding a new client on the Partner Portal. Within 24 hours, I had a preliminary copy of this document that they were working on pushing out.

I wish there were a way to view reports on campaigns sent out by date, rather than aggregate. I have a large campaign that we launched for a client, and we launch to a new subset weekly. Unless I create a copy of the campaign, I can't seem to find any reporting for each individual send. I have yet to reach out to support regarding this one, small inconvenience, and I'm sure if they don't have a solution they are probably already working on it =)

Pros: The Sharpspring tool has proven to be very efficient. With other tools, we were unable to reach the level of detail and functionality we have achieved now. SharpSpring has simplified every step of our automation process. It has been very versatile to create the automated workflows that our clients need. Our customers have been very pleased with the results we are delivering, and of course, Sharpspring has been instrumental in achieving these goals.

Overall: Ease of use and greater return for customers.

Pros: As a sales representative i've observed a increase in productivity, while the native CRM its excellent to put in a same place all contacts, leads, prospects and opportunities exchanging data with our marketing team.

Cons: We've been experienced some bugs in Landing Page Builder and when creating email, sometimes we need to use some html code to exactly fit the format we want.

Overall: SharpSpring allow us to implement marketing automation in clients who doesn't have budget to use other more robust automation marketing platforms, like hubspot, marketo, eloqua. It's a game changer for us and for our clients.

An easy and effective way to implement marketing automation.

Pros: When we talk about marketing automation, some people can be scared. It's something new and involves lots of functions. We could be more effective in our e-mail marketing campaing building a relationship with the consumer, for this, manage and collect contacts is easy using the track to connect the data of the site with the tool. SharpSpring allows also to medium users to manage the results of our paid campaigns using tracking tools, making landing pages and sales funnel.

Cons: To share one negative point, the interface could be a little bit more fast. Although, it has everything i need to improve my ROI.

Overall: I could make a solid sales funnel, enjoy the complete integration with other platforms, build my list of contacts and start the nutrition, ease of use and effective ROI.

Pros: The onboarding/training was exceptional. It was customized for our needs & what we were working on at a given moment rather than following a predesigned training script. I felt like our trainer knew us & was truly there for us.

Cons: Reporting is great with the exception that one report does not give actual dates of email sends but rather timeframes.

Pros: The range of functionality, the surprising ease of use, the ease of onboarding new clients.

Cons: The platform is sometimes buggy, but I know that the development team is always making improvements and adding features.

Overall: My marketing company uses SharpSpring for our own promotions, as well as for a number of our clients ranging from local small businesses to national organizations. We had previously been using HubSpot with little success, and we were counting down the months until our contract was up so we could explore other options. SharpSpring makes email automation simple, from setting up the platform to creating emails, forms, processes, etc. The platform is intuitive, and for the occasional moments I need help, I know I can easily find specific help materials for the task at hand or connect with a support rep. SharpSpring was easy to work into our marketing toolbox, and it has made my own company better at what we do.

Recommendations to other buyers: For anyone using this tool (or any other platform), be prepared to devote time to making it work. You get out of it what you put in. But with that said, SharpSpring has seamlessly worked its way into my daily work routine.

Pros: Ease-of-use, onboarding process and price/value.

Cons: Nothing I can think of - so far, it's been wonderful.

Overall: I've seen many marketing automation tools but felt that they were out of some of my clients' budget reach - until I met SharpSpring. By managing the marketing automation for our clients, we've added additional value to the "email campaigns" and simple "CRMs" they were using.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a no-brainer for agencies like Mainspire - our clients need marketing automation (but often don't even know it!) and we can participate in the process with our expertise and consulting.

Comments: I first emailed SharpSpring and within 12hrs had an email confirming a demo, a call before my initial walk-through and was updated regularly throughout the entire sales process. Comments: SharpSpring is definitely a contender when you're looking for a marketing automation or CRM platform that will allow you to tie easily into your website and trigger actions based on a sales funnel.

Pros: SharpSpring offers some advanced functionality that you would expect to find in much more expensive CRM / Marketing software options, but in a friendly and intuitive interface that invites the user to learn more. I loved that integrating website actions into the platform to trigger marketing emails was so easy to execute, and I was able to use advanced functionality within the platform after only a few minutes of review -- even though I had no training.

Cons: I kept running up against hard stops, and a few system limitations that were frustrating. Integration wasn't as one-click seamless as some of the other CRM/Marketing automation platforms that I've used. However, for a small-to-medium sized business, SharpSpring is a great option. Advanced marketers may find a few expected features lacking or difficult to find, but not many.

Pros: Combination of several platforms all in one solution.

When developing automated workflows it helps to construct more effective targeted communciations

Cons: Emails can occasionally be a little difficult to format to exact requirements using the editor and sometimes require HTML coding therefore needs technical assistance

Overall: SharpSpring has proved to be a very effective platform for our agency as it is a combines several different platforms both ourselves and our clients were previously using into one cost effective platforms.

The platforms that SharpSpring have replaced for the agency and our clients include MailChimp, SalesForce and Lead Forensics.

We have found that the combined cost of the platform is often lower than just one platform that our clients are using currently, therefore helping to facilitate easier discussions.

Also during our time as a partner there has been a constant stream on new innovative features released which serve to add value to the complete offering.

Another key feature that we have found to be of advantage is that there are no additional costs for multiple users, something which has proved to be effective compared to many other CRM platforms.

Pros: How it gives smaller businesses the opportunity to improve their business using marketing automation at a fraction of the price of the bigger players

Cons: I don't really rate the Visitor ID feature as the lead quality is limited, but it's always felt like a nice to have rather than a core feature.

Overall: As an agency to SME clients, there really is no better platform out there in terms of price, features, flexibility and scale. The team at Sharpspring respond quickly and although they are based in Florida the time zone difference really isn't a problem now and much less noticeable than when I first became a Partner. The platform is constantly improving and I like how you can submit feature requests to feedback changes too. Overall I think they've really nailed a simple interface with great visual features with the right level of complexity for SMEs.

Pros: Their commitment to innovation. They are always striving to improve their product. Customer service is always responsive and informative.

Cons: Small software glitches. It never really impacts my work too much, but I know it is a trade off for innovative features.

Overall: I was brought into a b2b company to begin their digital marketing efforts. I chose SharpSpring as our marketing automation software for a few reasons. Price is important to my company, especially as ones dipping our toes in Digital. SharpSpring provided what we needed, and scaled up as we added more contacts. Features are extremely important to me. I always look for companies like SharpSpring where the product is always adding new features and optimizations. They want to stay current, and in automation, that is key. The ease of use only gets 4 stars, because with constant updates, come bugs. There are times when the software isn't as smooth as I would like, but a quick refresh or contact to support always resolves it quickly.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are considering Hubspot, consider SharpSpring too.

Pros: Features are easy to use but really powerful. Intuitive to use, low price in comparison to other apps. Great support

Cons: Sometimes has performance issues or bugs but they are resolved pretty quickly. Limited Social media functionality

Overall: We chose SharpSpring after doing an extensive review of several marketing automation apps on the market. We've used SharpSpring for over a year now and have been really pleased with the system, the support and the results we are getting.

As a relatively small organisation (25 employees) we needed a system that was easy to use with intuitive design and accessible but powerful features (esp as we use the system to manage all of our memberships too). The support has been fantastic and SharpSpring are always happy to go out of their way to help us get the most from the app. The pricing is very competitive and the feature set is great (and seems to be growing steadily with great new features released on a regular basis). Very happy to recommend SharpSpring.

Comments: We currently use SharpSpring at our financial marketing firm. We purchase the software as a business and resell it to our clients of banks and credit unions. We use the platform primarily for lead generation/nurturing/management, form and landing page development, campaign analytics, email reports, contact management, and of course, tasks and workflows. SharpSpring makes scheduling emails and events/workflows super simple. The look and organization of the platform is the most pleasing I've seen. Almost everything is easy to use and easy to find within the platform. Even if you don't know or can't find something, SharpSpring's support team is one of the best I've worked with. Their weekly SpringBoard live webinars are super helpful and it's great that they are free for partners! It is just as easy to jump on the phone with a SharpSpring representative or support technician and get your questions answered right away. The Get Support function is also super helpful to easily submit support tickets, and the fact that you can submit feature requests that SharpSpring actually takes into consideration and sometimes implements is really cool to me. They actually want to know what you want and give it to you.

Pros: Set up is easy and quick, all of the basics are already in place

Cons: Some basic things around date triggered comms and the lack of ASCII code compatibility

Overall: SharpSpring is a super marketing automation for agency and end users alike. The interface is simple and easy to use, with all of the basic functionality for your CRM and marketing automation.
It is quite simple to get a profile up and running and to begin using the functionality. The self-help guides are comprehensive, but some coding knowledge is definitely needed in order to fully use the landing pages and tracking codes.

I find the email builder simple enough to use and the conditional display rules work well once you have correctly segmented your database. The sending speeds are fantastic and the integrated media centre and rules allow you to take your personalisation based on interaction to the next level.
The webforms are not designed for traditional CRM use, more for marketing automation and I have found some of the more simple functions missing, however the easy to use native forms and integrations with other systems allow you to work around most of the issue.
The newly-launched persona's and landing pages are great and have made a huge difference to the service we are able to offer our clients.

Recommendations to other buyers: Great for people with a strong base with Marketing Automation, but also for those just starting.

Pros: The SharpSpring Marketing Automation Software provides the following features and benefits that make it a stand out product for my business;
1. The 24/7 support incorporated into the monthly fees; Ensuring no surprises down the line.
2. No requirement to pay fees annually upfront.
3. New landing page feature.
4. Blog page feature.
5. New integration with the Litmus test.
6. Link up with Zapier integration to allow connection to hundreds of 3rd party software providers with the Zapier integration and SharpSpring APIs.
7. Training platform library; In-depth and with video availability to walk through processes. This along with 24/7 support, in my opinion, are the two most important features out with cost of course which set SharpSpring apart as the right platform for our boutique digital marketing agency.

Cons: 1. Monthly fees in dollars do not convert via local UK sterling currency rates, unlike other US marketing software providers. You pay in £ sterling the same monthly fee as in US $ dollars.
2. Email builder while it is satisfactory it could be even more user friendly.

Overall: We are a small boutique digital marketing agency based in the UK. We spent six months researching all the marketing platforms available.
It was vital to have 24/7 support available within the fees payable, favourable fee rates for an agency of our size (which did not require upfront annual payment), the option to have access to support within GMT timelines for our UK clients and last but not least a marketing automation provider who were developing new features on a near-quarterly basis. We decided that SharpSpring and their team would provide all of these features and benefits.
We commenced our inbound integration mid-2016, and the integration ran extremely efficiently with amazing support within GMT timeline availability. The support since and the new features constantly being added without any impact on fee rates have made the decision to choose SharpSpring, the absolute correct choice for our company. They have over delivered every step of the way for our company. Their team are highly knowledgeable, patient and supportive.
I would not choose any other platform now we are with SharpSpring.

Recommendations to other buyers: Like you should with any business decision, do your research. Do not rush into choosing a marketing automation platform. One size does not fit all. Marketing automation requires a lot of investment in; 1. Researching the right platform to meet your business and strategic objectives. 2. Time to properly understand the platform. 3. Nothing will beat real world experience via using the software in a live situation to properly get to grips with all the features within the marketing automation platform.

Comments: One of our main goals as an agency is helping clients find just the right tools for their organizations. When researching the Automation landscape, SharpSpring quickly rose to the top of our short list. Its feature set is extremely robust (but not overwhelmingly so) and when you factor in the price, it was a perfect fit for a number of our clients. Pros: Great value for money, Above and beyond customer service, User interface and experience are miles ahead of nearest competitor, White label capabilities

Cons: Lack of solid QA before feature updates

Overall: I love Sharpspring. It's the backbone of our business, so we are frequently invested in multiple elements of the product. Although the team seems quick to introduce new features, these introductions occasionally arrive without proper polish. As an agency, this can lead to us leveraging a new feature to close and having it turn out to be buggy.

Thankfully, the support team is great! Our account representative is extremely easy to reach and responsive to inquiries for assistance. The software seems to be under a constant state of improvement beyond just ironing out bugs. Last year, they introduced major functionality like customizable landing pages, blog templates and an easy dynamic content integrator. I would highly recommend Sharpspring as a great tool for any agency level marketing automation need.

Comments: SharpSprings capabilities are strong as the leaders in the industry and user interface is intuitive. It is helpful as an ad agency to be able to white label the product as our own and resell it many times over. It provides additional revenue stream on a regular basis. The challenge is having it functionally operate as advertised. We've had a few trouble tickets when we couldn't get it to do what it is supposed to do.

Pros: White Label software with the ability to resell at a profit. Intuitive user interface. Provides additional monthly revenue stream for content development and management.

Cons: Functional operation meeting expectations. Some challenges setting campaigns up and have them working properly without customer service.

Recommendations to other buyers: You get what you pay for. SharpSpring is a very viable product with some great promise. My perception is they have a way to go compared to leaders in the category, but they also cost much more.

Pros: It offers great features of following up with leads. I tell my clients that this system will do your marketing while you run your business or go to sleep!

Very flexible. It can do a host of automated features to keep the right content in front of people.

Cons: There are occasional glitches in sending, but nothing to big.

Overall: We have been using SharpSpring as an agency with around 15 of our clients. Every day I use the system and the more we learn to use it, the more happy I am to recommend it to all of our clients. We now implement either the full suite SharpSpring program or the Mail+ for all of our clients.

We also use it as an agency to track leads interested in our services. I am really not sure how we could be able to manage all the leads we have coming in without it.

Would highly recommend anyone to use this for their clients!

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are an agency working with clients and want something more cost effective than HubSpot, I would recommend giving SS a try.

Comments: Besides SharpSpring's low cost compared to other platforms, the main benefit to our agency and our clients is SharpSpring's simplicity and ability to implement, manage, and report on cross-channel marketing campaigns with ease. SharpSpring makes creating emails simple with its easy editor and built-in templates, and setting up automated email drip campaigns is as easy as checking a few boxes and filling in a few fields. SharpSpring even comes packed with an easy to use VisitorID function, which allows our agency to see the companies that are visiting our website and what pages they visit. This helps us monitor our own marketing and get smarter about reaching out to potential clients or partners. On the flip side to SharpSpring's extremely simple and easy-to-use interface, it is definitely not as complex or robust as a larger, more expensive solution. This is actually a really good thing. For our agency and for any business that wants to implement marketing automation without opting for an enterprise-level solution, SharpSpring absolutely a smart option worth looking into.

Pros: Flexibility
Ease of integration
Support and documentation

Cons: The workflow UI. Even simple workflows require lots of extra steps to implement the logic

Overall: I did demos on all the top marketing automation platforms and Sharpspring goes feature by feature with most of them. There are plenty of features that can accommodate even the most creative of campaign managers. The workflow UI is a little hard to understand at first but SS provides lots of training and support material to get you in the groove. The rest of the tools are very straight forward. The platform is also very easy to integrate. We had it connected to our enterprise level lead management system with minimal time and effort.

I'd recommend Sharspring to any marketing department or agency that wants to bring their campaign success to the next level.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get comfortable with the support area. Most of the questions you'll have are already answered in their documentation.

Comments: Comments:

SharpSpring has proven to be an excellent marketing platform for our small business clients. It offers the most popular capabilities needed, wanted, and expected including marketing automation, customer relationship management, email marketing, website analytics, and more.

The surprising thing is SharpSpring is surprisingly fast to learn and easy to use so small business owners and marketing managers can login and see SharpSpring in actions for themselves. The numerous built-in help videos allow client users to become do-it-yourself marketers, which is very important to small businesses. This also means lots of users can figure things out on their own rather than have to schedule training or log support requests.

SharpSpring is not (yet) as well known as alternatives such as Act-on, Infusionsoft, or HubSpot. I think one reason why is a lot of marketing agencies choose to use SharpSpring as their secret internal system rather than reveal they use SharpSpring or allow clients to use it directly.

Pros:

SharpSpring is a ¿most-in-one¿ platform that allows mastering a single unified system rather keeping multiple disparate systems integrated.

Cons:

The rapid addition of new capabilities means some launch before they are 100% bug-free.

Recommendations to other buyers:

There are many marketing technology platforms available so consider those that adapt to match your clients rather than asking clients to change.

Pros: The ability to quickly build lists, automate the entire process and track every action our prospect takes online related to us. Saves us a ton of time and takes the guess work out of marketing.

Cons: Nothing major, but we did experience a few hiccups using the landing pages.

Overall: We love Sharp Spring and have experienced tremendous success utilizing the easy to use automation features inside this robust platform.

My favorite feature is the ability to quickly build targeted lists. Gone are the days of time consuming spreadsheets and bulky CRM's.

Now we are able to laser focus efforts on those prospects who are taking action now...whether it be opening an email, clicking on links in an email, or visiting website pages.

Reducing the amount of time performing mundane tasks is a huge plus, and we are thrilled to be able to short cut the sales process, converting prospects to clients faster than ever before.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take time to look into this amazing tool.

Pros: Cost vs. benefit. Has all of the features our clients want or need, without a bunch of stuff we have to pay for that they don't need.

Cons: It's a struggle to find something I don't like, but if it was one thing over the past two years, it would be the lack of support on the sales side for our clients. More customized training and presentations for client side would be great.

Overall: A couple of years ago our agency was a relatively happy HubSpot customer. We sold inbound services via HubSpot to our web development clients most often, but it was a hard sell and required a certain client profile to be successful. The most important aspect of an inbound client for us was deep pockets! Why? Simply because of the cost of the HubSpot platform. If a client had sufficiently deep pockets, AND was convinced of the business validity of inbound marketing versus traditional methods, the full court press was on. To give HubSpot credit, they got very involved in the client sales process and they provided a lot of tools to aid agencies in the inbound sales process, BUT, all of that comes at a cost. A significant cost. While HubSpot gets a lot of credit for pioneering the inbound marketing platform space, they have become, in this agencies opinion, a bit bloated over the years. What we mean is that they provide so much it is sometimes difficult to choose what is most important to push and provide for each client. The net effect is, however, that whatever your client does want to do, Personas, email marketing, automation, web site development, contact list management etc., it's all included. So what's the downside? Their strength is their biggest weakness. No matter how little or how much of HubSpots resources you use, the cost is the same. Of course there are tiers of cost, but even the lowest tier is roughly ten times the cost of SharpSpring. So use a little, pay a lot. Use a lot, pay a lot. Now we at CX3 Group don't necessarily sell on price, however, if the tools that you bring to the table for your clients are less expensive, but still as, or more, effective, it gives the agency a lot of flexibility when customizing various packages to promote. While generally content with HubSpot back in the day, we are extremely pleased with SharpSpring. Approaching our two year anniversary with them we take every opportunity to sing their praises, and it's NOT just about pricing.
While SharpSpring is a fraction of the cost, of HubSpot (& others) the features it includes are all the features we ever really used with HubSpot. That is to say, we are paying for what we use, and not paying for anything that sits in the cupboard looking pretty, but we don't need.
If I had more space here I'd go into the newest features that SharpSpring has rolled out over the past 6 months. Suffice it to say, we're a very happy and satisfied SharpSpring client! -CX3 Group

Recommendations to other buyers: Do what we did, check out the demo (especially the magic trick) and you'll be impressed as we were.

Pros: The core marketing automation functionality in SharpSpring is excellent. If you're looking for Visitor ID tracking, better email communication, personalization, a landing page builder, or a CRM, SharpSpring is definitely worth a look.

Even though it's a "soft" feature, it's worth noting that the customer service team has been great to work with. I've been able to give my clients solid timelines for when to expect a fix or help.

Cons: The email and landing page builders are solid, but they lack some of the intuitive features that you might get from a dedicated email service provider like Campaign Monitor or Mail Chimp. There might be a few things you'll miss migrating over from one of these platforms, though nothing important for obtaining the same end results.

Overall: I've been using SharpSpring for just about under a year in this time, I've recommended it to just about every marketer I've worked with.

Typically, marketing automation software has only been usable by large and mid-size organizations due to the high cost of both the software and the expertise in operating an inbound marketing campaign. SharpSpring costs only a fraction of competing tools like HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc., but it offers all of the core features of these platforms and has a few of its own features, like a built-in customizable CRM, that make it a great fit for just about any marketing team.

There aren't any serious downsides or tradeoffs with SharpSpring vs the more expensive platforms. The customer service team is always very attentive and transparent about bugs and fixes, and SharpSpring has made a series of significant upgrades even during the time I've been using the platform. If you're used to using some of the other platforms I mentioned, some pieces of SharpSpring might initially feel less polished. But, once you look under the hood and start working with the platform, everything is there in a pretty intuitive layout.

Highly recommended for marketing & sales teams.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure to ask lots of questions during the on-boarding phase. The on-boarding team is great, but you'll get much more out of the experience if you prepare for the onboarding meetings and take the time to practice with the software between onboarding sessions. I don't think SharpSpring is more complicated than other marketing automation systems, but all marketing automation tools require a nuanced approach to inbound marketing. So, there's going to be some learning curve no matter which platform you ultimately end up using.

Pros: SharpSpring is easy to use and is robust. From contact to lead to client management, it's just drag and drop. The marketing automation tools are comprehensive, but simple. When trying to manage a lot of tasks at once, SS makes it seamless and nothing is missed. Their iphone app is great too!

Cons: I don't like where the NEW button is found on the menu bar, but otherwise, the software is easy to use and I don't really have any complaints.

Overall: Our agency started using SharpSpring in 2015 and we couldn't be happier. Our lead nurturing and contact management was a mess - switching monthly between new online platforms - but then we found SharpSpring and what a difference it has made for our business. No more lost leads or cold prospects. The SS interface is so easy to use and the flow is very logical. We have recommended SharpSpring to all of our marketing services clients and most have migrated away from the "big guys" and love the transition to SS. The customer support is FAST, helpful, and full of tips to make client management and marketing even easier. The pricing structure is one-of-a-kind in the industry and it's quite unbelievable to me how reasonable the monthly fee is.

In terms of email marketing campaigns, the template setup is robust, but simple. Our college intern was able to take over and figure out how to use SharpSpring in an hour! Several of our prospects noticed the change in the quality of our emails and asked what platform we use. This gave us credibility in the marketplace for being up on hip new technology.

Lastly, SIGN UP for a SharpSpring demo! You won't be disappointed.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it! At least do a demo and see what a powerful tool this can be for your business. We have added several clients onto our agency account and not one of them has been disappointed!

Comments: As an agency we use SharpSpring not only for ourselves but also our clients.

There is so much one can do with it, but for us we really get awesome value out of it as a lead generation tool that we hook in with our LinkedIn strategy. We¿re a B2B business so it¿s very much about relationships and SharpSpring allows us to find that critical balance between automation and personalisation.

We also use it extensively for our sales teams to manage leads, targets and projections. At a glance I¿m able to see where the key opportunities are for any particular month and focus my energy and support on the sales people that sit with those leads. Additionally for those struggling, I can get a picture of where in the sales process they are having difficulty and provide the support and training needed. It allows me to prioritise my time more effectively.

If I¿m nit picking the newsletter design interface is the only thing not as intuitive as I¿d like it. I believe that is in part due to the huge functionality and intelligence offered in the creation of workflows, that just means it¿s tricky to keep it super simple. But the beauty of the SharpSpring team is they are always looking to evolve and improve the product. So I know that tiny quirks that may not sit 100% with me now, will be tweaked and adjusted on a continual basis and very soon down the road, it is improved. And I love that fact. So many other products we have tried in the past stood still and stopped adding additional value. I know with SharpSpring they will continue to push our teams with their functionality, rather than the other way around.

Pros: Our lead generation is based around who fills out a form on our website. Sharpspring's email and template builder allows us to create branded emails which are tied into our drip campaigns that help prospects become better informed on us and our service.

Cons: The auto-save feature has bitten me in the butt a couple of times. In one instance I had a new landing page built, thought it auto-saved, exited the program when I was leaving the office, and it was gone. While I had to start from scratch that allowed me to become better acclimated with the software.

Overall: Prior to working at Michigan Creative I was familiar with marketing automation via hubspot inbound marketing certification. However, I had no hands on experience with that type of software. When I started at Michigan Creative my first duty was to become familiar with SharpSpring and go through and revamp how Michigan Creative uses the software. What I found the most helpful was the tutorials and ease of use. I found that you don't need to be an expert to use the software for its very basic application.

Recommendations to other buyers: I don't think people know that the software exists as much as they should. Hubspot dominates the market and I prefer SharpSpring.

Pros: Ease of use, good templates, built in CRM (although you can integrate with 3rd party CRM if you need.) Cost saving compared to competing products - especially if you can dispense with a full-fat CRM like Salesforce which is bloated and over priced for SME market in my opinion.

Cons: Occasional glitches. Sometimes you have to refresh the page to see the result of a change that you have made. For example - the number of members in a list - can take a few minutes after saving the query to report a true number. But you soon learn to live with minor issues like this.

Overall: I've used a couple of different Marketing Automation platforms in the past. Marketo briefly and Act-On for a couple of years. I switched to SharpSpring around 6 months ago when I set up my own marketing agency.

Really happy with how its going. OK - its obvious that SharpSpring is a smaller company. I come across the occasional feature that could do with some refinement. But overall its fair to say I love SharpSpring.

Top features from my POV...

Ease of use - The separation of Tasks and Workflows seems to make this a much simpler product to use than Act-on. Easier than Marketo as well - though its about 3 years since I used that.

The templates provided for rapidly building landing pages are excellent.

The new personas feature is brilliant when combined with "Dynamic content blocks" (which you can use on landing pages as well as Emails.

The built in CRM is a huge advantage and is perfect for BDM teams or smaller companies. Obviously if you can make do without a full-featured CRM like Salesforce, you'll save thousands $$ by switching to a simpler product like SharpSpring. (I used to use Act-on integrated with Salesforce and that was an absolute pig.)

Cost - SharpSpring is much less expensive than Act-On and Marketo. You get unlimited users on their standard license plans - so you're not penalised for spreading use across Marketing, BDMs and Sales folk.

So features - not a problem.

I've found the training / on-boarding satisfactory and the ongoing technical support is fast and personal.

Recommendations to other buyers: Well worth investigating if you're looking for a less complicated and less expensive Marketing Automation system for smaller / mid-sized businesses. I've implemented this software for my own company and for clients, and I've found it easy to master.

Pros: Powerful tool, lots of useful features, intuitive design

Cons: Complicated if you're new to using this type of platform, but they provide help.

Overall: SharpSpring is a pretty hefty platform. Along with email marketing, they provide analytics, campaign support, site traffic data, task management/workflow assistance. In spite of having a lot going on, they do deliver. The customer service team is ready and eager to help, too, if you find yourself stuck, plus there's a good library of tutorial videos and docs. If you're new to using these kinds of systems, this one is a challenge, but it's still worth it because once you've mastered things (and it's not hard) you'll realize that you have access to some pretty powerful tools. And if you don't see something, ask them. They're always open to ways to improve.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take advantage of the training, but navigate around. See what you need, what you want to learn, what you'd like to see. It's worth the time and price.

Overall: When we star to use SharpSpring was a game change for us. Now we can charge more for our services because now we have a real advantage of our competition. SharpSpring allow us to be better, with less investment in time and money. We recommend.

Pros: Positively positions our agency.
Very easy to get new licenses.
New billing structure makes it more affordable for smaller agencies like us.

Cons: Parts of the platform lack features.
The app is almost useless for design and marketing purposes but is great for entering contacts.

Overall: We have been on the Sharpspring platform for a year now. Before SharpSpring we were a web design and marketing agency that worked on one-off projects and sent our clients on their way once it was complete. After we made the decision to invest in SharpSpring it completely changed how we interact with our clients. It has helped us establish much longer retainers which makes it possible for us to build stronger, closer relationships with our clients. After just one year of weaving SharpSpring into our business, we have seen huge growth for ourselves and for our clients who have bought into the platform as well.

As with any other new technology, it hasn¿t been without some struggle. I am still not completely sold on their email builder platform. It lacks features and functionality that I grew spoiled by with MailChimp. Still, it beats having to jump from one platform to another to duct tape together all of our marketing efforts. We no longer need to have a separate landing page builder and email builder since SharpSpring does this all. I have full confidence that with the growth of SharpSpring they will beef up their email builder as well as landing page builder.

We are a growing agency and have hitched our growth to that of the Sharpspring platform. They can count on our business for many years to come.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you give SharpSpring a chance make sure you spend the first two months making it an integral part of your business before you market it as a service. Spend the time to get certified and encourage your team to get really comfortable using it. Be patient and consistent!

Pros: First, the set up is very easy, within 24 hours I can have a new client up and running. The automation is very flexible. Sharpspring comes with forms that can be placed on your website or can integrate with existing native forms. Sharpspring is a total marking solution that allows marketing to create landing pages, develop automated campaigns and track ROI.

The built-in CRM allows sales people to see the user behavior and interest, add to nurture campaigns and even gather data on anonymous visitors.

Cons: The reporting on the CRM side could be a little more robust, but for most SMB's that reporting is more than adequate. The Landing Page module is new and could use some more templates. If Sharpspring could build a direct integration with Wordpress for the landing pages, that would be great.

Overall: I have been using Sharspring for almost 3 years. I have B2B clients and B2C clients using the platform. Sharpspring has made some incredible progress in the past year. The customer support is excellent. It has a built in CRM that is fully integrated into the platform. With the new addition of the landing page and blog modules it is a complete Marketing Automation Solution. It is very user friendly and configurable. I highly recommend this software.

Recommendations to other buyers: Excellent Value! If you do not have a CRM or looking at upgrading your CRM, you may wish to look at Sharpspring. It has all the functionality of the major Marketing Automation Software with a CRM built in.

Overall: We use SharpSpring for our sales CRM and marketing automation, it allows us to track our leads and calls. On the marketing side, we can schedule email blasts and track user activities. The marketing portion is very powerful, it's easy to send out email blasts and has a strong email builder.
As for the CRM, you can categorize leads, use custom fields to track unique information, and so much more.
The software can be a bit buggy at times, and sometimes the customer service is difficult to get a hold of, but once you do they are happy to help.

This software is a great bang for your buck! I highly recommend it.

Pros: Being able to leverage anonymous web user data to create actionable insights way before they fill a form out is invaluable. For an agency/B2B company, it is the most reliable new lead generator of any tool out there.

Cons: New features roll out and feel like they should still be in beta. It has a few quirks like a lack of global date range filter that don't necessarily hinder reporting/analysis but are a slight inconvenience.

Overall: We've been using SharpSpring for nearly a year at our agency, and have used almost every feature of it (SalesForce integration, automated workflows, API for custom reporting, full-on CRM, etc.).

We love SharpSpring. In fact, in the past few months, SharpSpring has been responsible for helping us close nearly one million dollars in new business. As a B2B tool, the fact that we can see what businesses are browsing our site and reach out to them even if they don't submit a form is invaluable, and worth 10x cost.

Every client we bring in gets put on the platform, and it's an indispensible part to growing their business. We are able to verify leads which instills confidence in our reporting, but also helps us evaluate the quality of leads and ROI through lead scoring and campaign assignments. We've used SharpSpring as white-labeled companion and even migrated some clients over to use it as their CRM. It's extremely versatile.

SharpSpring's breadth of tools means you could be using it for a year and still not have used some of its features to the fullest of their ability (Dynamic Emails, Dynamic Web Content), and that's great... but it is also the cause of some frustration, as they sometimes rush out products to tout they have a new product, but that product will still feel very "beta" in nature. When dynamic landing pages were introduced we tried to use it for two weeks, and there was a bug that would wipe out whatever changes you made. We eventually abandoned using that tool, but came back several months later and it worked as it should have.

The flip side of this is that SharpSpring is constantly working to improve. It is not a platform that rests on its laurels. You can also submit a feature or improvement to their team directly.

Anytime we have had an issue, Customer Support has been great. Their agents have resolved our numerous issues quickly, whether its answering a quick implementation question or testing bugs for a larger issue.

Overall, SharpSpring has been an integral tool to both our agency's growth but our clients' growth. And, though new tools sometimes feel buggy, we can easily overlook it due to the value it provides us.

Overall: I work for a Digital Marketing agency based out of Dallas, TX. We have been using Sharp Spring for over a year. We transitioned from a CRM (more data-entry than anything) and needed a way to identify hot leads, monitor our lead funnel and nurture existing leads based on activity. We also needed to keep track of information and communication while tracking how campaigns were performing through our different marketing channels. Sharp Spring was the answer. On top of continuously releasing new features and updates, their support staff and proactive-ness with tech updates are second to none. There are more and more software options in this space but no one can deliver the way sharp spring has with its robust feature updates, responsiveness to issues and tickets and world-class customer care. I would highly recommend sharp spring for your marketing automation and CRM needs. Whether you¿re a big agency or just getting started you will see a return on your efforts and not let any lead or client fall through the cracks.

Comments: We've been using and recommending SharpSpring almost exclusively since we started investigating and trying marketing automation platforms three years ago. It's the best of all platforms for our business, which focuses on startups and small businesses.

Pros: Ease of use, affordability, broad functionality and ROI

Cons: Customer service is limited. The agency is the first line of service, with escalation to techs at SharpSpring. but that's also how they keep costs down

Recommendations to other buyers: If you already have a marketing automation platform and you have people who are working on them full time and are well trained, there is no reason to switch. But if you are considering getting a platform and your marketing and content teams are inexperienced and under trained, this is a great tool to acquire.

Cons: It's still a work in progress. While they have a lot of functionality, not everything is seemless. One feature I'd really like is the ability to forward an email and have a contact automatically created or to use a chrome extension to pull in someone from LinkedIn.

Overall: Sharpspring combines almost all the functionality of modern CRM Systems with Marketing Automation for a fraction of the price. The way the software is positioned, you are best off working through an agency as they can often give you the software and servicing for less than the software costs itself. It's pretty versatile and really hits home in bang for the buck - giving you the same functionality as software that costs upwards to $ per month. It's also nice that the pricing is not per seat, which can get pretty annoying if you have a large organization or if you're growing quickly.

Recommendations to other buyers: I recommend it.

Pros: Great for marketing automation, email sending, testing and reporting. It was very easy to set up and get connected to our Google Adwords and our website. My goal for 2017 is to use SharpSpring's email automation to help me create a better buying funnel for our leads.

Cons: There was some time in the beginning of set up where I had to reach out to a developer for some coding help. That was not sharpsprings fault, we are using 2 different CRMs and they needed to talk to each other. It works fine now. Another con, I wish there was a connection with Bing Adwords.

Overall: We had a budget for Adwords and I always wanted more money to put into it. My boss would always ask. What is our ROI? I could tell him how many clicks and conversions we received and then he would ask. But are they buyers? Because of SharpSpring we know that they ARE buyers and I was given a larger budget knowing it was bringing in a great return. I also love the email builder, HTML, spending, segmenting and testing abilities.

Before SharpSpring we were pulling lists at random for our call center. Now we know what leads are warm because of the score. Every time they visit our website, click an email or fill our a form they get a higher score. We are able to call out more effectively and have a reason for doing so.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have a lot of website code to change you might need to consult a developer BUT sharpspring has a great staff that can talk you through almost anything as long as you have access.

Pros: Easy to use, well priced, flexible, adapts well to integrations with other softwares.

Cons: New features can sometimes have a few issues, no support in Australian or European time zones, rare communications when there are email delays.

Overall: We have started with SharpSpring a year ago and we are very excited at the prospects of taking SharpSpring even further in 2017. The tool is intuitive and easy to use. And if you get stuck, the support team is always here to help. Overall, we have been very satisfied with SharpSpring. It is well priced and has great benefits for agencies. If we had to point out a negative, it would be the lack of support in our time zone.

Recommendations to other buyers: It may seem overwhelming at first but start small and expand. You will have fun playing around with all the features that SharpSpring offers.

Pros: Sharp Spring provides me and my clients with several advantages over its competition (like Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Infusionsoft). First of all, you can not beat their licensing value. Each license comes with unlimited users. This alone beats all the competition. Secondly, they have integrated an awesome CRM (missing in all the other marketing automation tools) so you do not have to go out and buy licenses for that. Lastly, it is a COMPLETE marketing automation system with true behavioral marketing capabilities.

Cons: At first, I had a hard time understanding how they do automation. I was used to using a drag and drop "visualization" interface to build drip campaigns. I also had a bit of a hard time getting used to their nomenclature. The way that automation processes are set up in Sharp Spring are through two things... Tasks (which I was used to calling triggers) and Workflow (which I was used to calling task automation). You can see how it was confusing for me. Well I learned it, it was not that hard, and I actually see now how it is a way superior way to program automation then using visual aids that would be cumbersome to try to set up and manage in large scale automation projects.

Overall: Overall I give this tool 5 stars, A's all across, two thumbs up, a wink and a smile. As I mentioned, I have been using the tool now for 4 years and have quite a bit of experience using their competitors and so-called "market leaders". I love Sharp Spring it does everything, at a value you can hardly compare.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get it... if you need marketing automation and CRM you can not beat this software at its price.

Pros: It is a complete tool and I don't need to do thousands of logins to manage everything I need.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like about SharpSpring

Overall: I've been using Sharpspring in the last two years at least and it is just amazing. It has everything I need to implement comunication estrategy and prove ROI for my campaigns of my own companie and my customer's companies.
With SharpSpring I can track my paid campaigns and recognize what is giving results or not, I can creat beautifull landing pages without have any webdesigner skills, I can send automated comunication according to lead segmentation and their stages in the sales funnel and I can also manage all the relationship with my clients. There is nothing to complain about at all.

Comments: I run an agency and B2B Adwords marketing is a specialty of ours. Integrating Sharpspring with our PPC campaigns allows me to look at the lifetime value of the leads we bring in, and tie specific sales, and revenue amounts, back to my ad campaigns to see real ROI for clients. This is critical for profit-driven marketing. Also, the CRM and tracking features allow clients to more effectively nurture leads across longer sales cycles in B2B and high-value conversions. Frankly, you don't have to use all of the tools to have it worthwhile. If you have a use case where you're actively selling to customers along a not-short sales cycle you really should have something like this.

Pros: Good company. I had an issue I had to take up with leadership and they solved it in a very fair and honorable way. I CANNOT say that about their competitors. The value for the toolkit is super good, especially if you get it through an agency as they focus a lot on partnering with agencies.

Cons: They've had some growing pains. Some things are not perfect. But I'd rather work with folks who have integrity and are CONTINUALLY working to improve the product. Other companies spend their money trying to lock you down to use their product. They spend a LOT on marketing. Sharpspring focuses its resources on developing the most awesome product for money out there. It also has a very open API so you can make it talk to other products (like if you already have a CRM you use). Sorry, this is cons. The point is there are some things that are not graceful. Like where you would want a notification that an action is complete but it doesn't tell you and you have to look carefully. Some things are a bit ungraceful. It gets it done, but you have to learn the ropes.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's good to work with an agency that knows what they're doing to fully maximize your value. Things go much more quickly with some of the setup and API integrations for someone who does this all the time vs. someone doing it the first time. Shop around on price if you do go with an agency. Some may have a larger markup than we charge.

Pros: Pricing structure, extensive easy-to-use features, works with any CMS so you're not locked into a proprietary CMS for your website.

Cons: Organizing tasks and workflows into folders can be a bit cumbersome because you have to create them and then move them into the folder. I would like to be able to assign them to a folder when I create them because I sometimes forget to do it ;)

Overall: We had looked at several other marketing automation companies and were very frustrated. Not only was the price high, but some required upfront payment of a year just to sign up. On top of that, we wouldn't have had access to all of the available features, even though the price was very high for a company of our size. I was thrilled when we found SharpSpring. They've been great to work with, have awesome features and tools, fair pricing, and friendly customer service, and are constantly adding and improving features. I'm excited to see what the future holds for SharpSpring, and know that whatever is to come will help us grow our business. Thanks to all the gang at SharpSpring!

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're interested in starting to use marketing automation or even if you're already using another system, you owe it to yourself to give SharpSpring a look. I can't imagine why anyone would choose a different one if they were familiar with SharpSpring!

Cons: They've changed their customer service model a few times. During some of these change overs I've had to wait a short while for support, but they seem to have things worked out now.

Overall: I've had a great experience working with SharpSpring. I'm a consultant for companies developing new Content Strategy and Content Marketing Programs. As a result, I've had the opportunity to work with companies of all shapes and sizes in many different industries. SharpSpring has been a great fit for them regardless of size or market, and often at half the price of some of the bigger names in this space.

Their platform has been much easier to learn than some of the other systems on the market. I've worked with a few companies that insisted on using other platforms, and without exception, I've found those to have a sharper learning curve and in most cases your paying for bells and whistles that no one ever learns to use effectively and aren't necessary for a great content marketing program.
The SharpSpring team is doing a great job of focusing on what's really important as they add new features. The new landing page feature is great.

If you're implementing a marketing automation platform, I highly recommend you evaluate SharpSpring.

Recommendations to other buyers: I've seen some other reviews for Sharpspring on other sites that sound almost too good to be true. They're really not. All I can say is, check them out for yourself. You'll be glad you did.

Pros: Great toolset, great value

Cons: Had some growing pains.

Overall: I manage Sharpspring for clients in conjunction with PPC, to capture more value from their adspend. Totally amazing feature set for the money, particularly compared to competitors.

It's a pretty great way to really pump up the value clients get from their advertising, so they can close more deals for the same ad spend.
UX is a bit wonky and sometimes you get new tech support staff who can't answer tough questions, but they try hard to make sure you get to someone who can help. The folks actually involved in the guts of the thing are awesome.

I'm most impressed by the integrity of the leadership. I had an issue where they easily could have blown me off as technically they were "in the right". But they went to significant effort and some expense to make the situation 100% right. It's great to see a company where it's not just about the "fast buck".

They really value the agency partners, and put the agencies at the center of their business model. I've heard BS from other companies in SAAS space who "make nice talking", then totally screw over the agencies. Lead Forensics is the worst in this regard. Total snakes.

So Sharpspring was an awesome change. I really feel like a partner. They are also continually adding new features, and really trying hard to keep up with what their partners indicate they need from the software. Feels a bit like you're on the team.

Recommendations to other buyers: Best value is getting via agency partners.

Comments: This is a good starter software for people with a smaller budget looking for marketing automation. The workflow tool is not good, it takes some getting used to and help from SharpSpring to figure it out. The web-tracking and visitor ID is great! The email builder is good as well and very easy to use. I have not taken advantage of the other tools, like the landing pages, because I like using unbounce for this feature. I had hoped they would create more reporting features, but this is not something that has changed and is rather disappointing. If you want to create a report you must create a list and export.

Pros: I like the email builder, visitor ID, campaign tracker.

Cons: Poor reporting.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a god starter software. If you are working with a separate CRM, make sure the integration will work either directly or through Zapier. We ran into a lot of issues when looking to integrate with a CRM. You're rather limited here.

Pros: Sharpspring has many features comparable to Hubspot. It also has the capability to handle a nearly unlimited amount of contacts without charging additional monthly fees. The email editor/template editor is fairly easy to use.

Cons: The setup of workflows and smart lists is counter-intuitive and unreliable. The dashboard and navigation is clunky and difficult to traverse.

Overall: Sharpspring is useful for managing leads and marketing automation, but the workflows and smart lists are clunky, fail to fire at times and are set up in a counter-intuitive manner.

Cons: Customer support is terrible.

Overall: I'm a digital marketing director with 10 years experience in marketing automation. SharpSpring is by far the worst product I have worked with. Big features such as CRM sync just randomly stop working for weeks on end with no resolution. SharpSpring's inability to perform basic marketing automation functions, like getting leads to sales, with any reliability, is jarring. Twice now, SharpSpring has sent mass emails to tens of thousands of my leads without me setting it up to do so - customer support can't even explain it. But as you can imagine, it's been very damaging to our email statistics and sender profile. Use ANY marketing automation platform besides SharpSpring - it has nearly cost me my job.

Comments: SharpSpring provides a lot of functionalities for a great price. A few examples: Visitor ID (identify your website visitors), create and customize landing pages and email templates, schedule your emails, set up tasks and workflows and get notifications for almost anything you want.

Pros: Easy to use. A great support team. Every Friday a great and helpful Springboard Live webinar (online training). Responsive mailings. A lot of information about our clients. Some good (basic) email and website reports.

Cons: They've got sometimes a few problems with their software, but they help you as fast as they can. You can add and edit custome fields, but we need more options and it should be easier to use them.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take a look at what you want to use. Why do you want to use Marketing Automation? Do you need all the stuff or do you want something in specific? SharpSpring is a great software at a lowe(r) price.

Comments: We have been on the Sharpspring platform for nearly a year now and it has changed our agency. Back in the day (you know, a "whole" 8 years ago), inbound marketing and the software that supported its methodology was not a very crowded sandbox. But now there are all kinds of full blown platforms and other software stacks - needless to say, the playground is getting full. What made Sharpspring appealing to us what how it allowed us to "handle the transaction". Our clients know we use Sharpspring but they continually refer to it as if it were "our platform" - this instantly changes the way they (and prospects) see us. That being said, it has not been without its bumps and bruises. There have been times when features just didn't seem to work or required some guesswork (i.e. - building dynamic lists based on lead info seems to be hit or miss and the email builder is a bit clunky). In all fairness, we have just been too busy to become fluent in all aspects of the platform so this gripe may totally be on us, and not Sharpspring. All in all, I don't see us moving in another direction any time soon. We are a growing agency and we have hitched our growth to that of the Sharpspring platform.

Pros: Positions our agency as the resource. Up and running in a matter of minutes. Because of the quick implementation, a quick ROI to the client is much easier.

Cons: Parts of the platform are still clunky. On rare occasions, the platform cannot be reached. Because of its age, integrations are still limited.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are a growing agency or business you owe it to yourself to at least give Sharpspring an opportunity. The way it is priced and is ease of implementation will give you and your clients early wins, especially if there hasn't been a platform like this in place yet in your agency or business.

Pros: The white label capabilities, multiple licenses at a great price point.

Cons: Still learning the tool, but the survey capabilities were not super easy to create. The SharpSpring and Zapier support teams were able to help us through the process (took quite awhile) so we ultimately were able to do what we wanted to do with the survey structure.

Overall: We're new to SharpSpring, but there were several features that intrigued us/persuaded us to use the product. Specifically, the ability to start with multiple licenses lets us immediately show the power of a marketing automation tool to our clients who are not using a marketing automation tool in a low-risk way. We can either resell the license or give it away as a perk, which is also nice, particularly as it could potentially create another revenue stream for our business or created added value for our clients.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely worth sitting through the demo.

Pros: The amount of features you get for the price is absolutely unmatched. Their support is also really great now that they have strengthened the team. It used to be that responses took weeks but now I'm seeing replies sometimes in a matter of minutes.

Cons: Even though it's cheaper you have a tendency to want to compare it to the big players that have been around for years. Simply put...Sharpspring is just not as refined as some of the options. Although they seem to be rapidly releasing new features to be better contenders it seems that they come packed with a ton of bugs confusion amongst the team.

Overall: Using Sharpspring is a lightyears leap forward from your typical ESP. It brings a world of new opportunities typically only found in software packages three times the price. Sharpspring offers and incredible tool and impressive feature set for those just stepping into the world of marketing automation.

For those who already familiar with this world with existing software in place, Sharpspring has the potential to save you a serious amount money. That being said, take some time to fully evaluate your needs (especially if you intend to use the CRM) to be sure that this younger and arguably less refined software package will be able to act as a full replacement to your existing software.

If being used primarily as marketing automation tool only you'll find that Sharpspring plays really well with your existing systems with their Open API as well as Zapier and Salesforce integrations.

In summary...Sharpspring is an incredibly strong contender in it's space. The fact that it can actually be compared to software that is over 3x it's cost is a statement to itself. Whether it will be a complete replacement for your existing software package will come down to your specific usage but if you are just getting into automation Sharpspring is a clear winner at the price point.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you intend to replace existing software... make sure to fully evaluate that everything you need is available in Sharpspring. Try not to make a big decision based upon feature to feature comparison alone.

Comments: TLDR: - Destroyed my SalseForce database - Terrible support - Bad sales experience Let's start at the beginning. The sales process was confusing thanks to SharpSpring's disorganized channel model. I was unable to buy directly from them because I happened to speak to one of their resellers after I initiated a conversation directly with SharpSpring. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but it slowed down the purchase which I was trying to expedite. Furthermore, it took about a month for them to find me two relevant reference customers to speak with about their experiences with SharpSpring. Next, implementation and support were terrible. Because I purchased through a reseller, I was unable to work directly with the SharpSpring team to get my data imported and integration set up with SalesForce. My reseller didn't have the experience to accomplish these tasks, so they ended up working with the SharpSpring team and looping me into a frustrating game of telephone that further extended my implementation time. As painful as the sales and support experience was, the most critical problem was the complete corruption of my database. SharpSpring managed to swap data on leads such that email addresses, phone numbers, names, and other data was randomized such that a given lead name could have a different email address and phone number associated with it. I didn't catch this issue until it impacted about 70% of my database, causing complete confusion in our sales and marketing efforts. After disconnecting SharpSpring, I was able to clean up some of the data, but I still have a mess on my hands and have sunk a substantial amount of time into cleaning up my data. Where was support during all this? Practically nonexistent. It wasn't until I emailed as many contacts as I could find at SharpSpring with the threat of abandoning the platform that I finally received limited help.

Pros: The interface is straightforward and fairly easy to use. However, this does not make up for the company's and product's shortcomings.

Cons: As mentioned above: - Destroyed my SalseForce database - Terrible support - Bad sales experience

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't do it. Explore other options. ANY other option will be better.

Comments: I am impressed with this product and platform. It has met the challenge of being an automation engine and allowed me to worry less about clients continuous marketing efforts. It has a powerful, easy to use automation engine that has all the triggers, filters, tasks, and workflows you could ever want or use.

Pros: The customer success team and training team with SharpSpring are the best I have ever dealt with. There has not been an issue that I haven't gotten the fully attention of the support staff and the issue resolved quickly. Top notch service.

Cons: The ability to assign leads to a sales team does not exist.
