Pros: Favro is friendly, super flexible and yet powerful when going skin deep. The system is built around super-customizable tasks called CARDS. CARDS can be connected to each other, or arranged hierarchically. CARDS can contain checklists like a list of subtasks, a list of languages to translate, whatever.
The CARDS can be grouped in BACKLOGS which are containers that will do for AGILE working styles but also for more traditional project management. They are not a Gantt chart yet I am pleased that I can have a list reflecting when the tasks (CARDS) have to happen, by whom, and grouped under project stages (for which I create a CARD one level up).
The approach is completed with BOARDS, a very Agile approach in which CARDS are placed in columns. Favro beats its competitors in that you can build as many columns as required with whatever labels. In example To-Do/Doing/Completed, or In analysis/Approved/In progress/Under testing/Ready/Closed, you choose. Favro strength is its flexibility, making it suitable for Marketing, a software development team, a Manufacturing company, Sales department, you name it. You can fit in any project.
To round off a CARD can live in more than one BACKLOG and one BOARD. This allows to make very powerful views on the tasks, like concurrently in a Dev team BOARD (To-Do/Doing/Completed) as the manager BOARD (Goals Q1/Goals Q2/Goals Q3) and yet still be one single task (CARD) maintained by all these roles. A BOARD can have more than one LANE i.e. for the

Cons: The obvious con of so much flexibility is that at first it is not clear what will be the best way to use it, and some users may even feel lost. Actually it could be easy to make a few bad choices in the start and find yourself with a hard to maintain collection of boards and backlogs. Also the flexible categorization can make searching for existing tasks (CARDS) a dark science scrolling through a long list in which you have to hope you found all the relevant CARDS, the alternative being to go to the full featured reporting system. Being a new contender in the category at the moment it lacks the expansive list of integrations that some of their competitors have, yet the frequent updates denote they will catch up quickly.

Overall: The software can be used across departments connecting people and departments in a collaborative platform. And it is very friendly to share the project progress during meetings.

Favro has been great - we migrated from Trello, and it has been overall pretty seamless.

Pros: The ability to have cards live in multiple locations is the #1 reason we switched from Trello to Favro. The Marketing and Product teams have separate boards, but, often work together on tasks. It is great to have a single card or group of cards live in multiple locations, so that when anyone makes an update to the card, it is updated for everyone.

Cons: Management of cards and boards isn't as easy as I'd like it to be. Every week, we make a new board for tasks that we want to accomplish that week, and we move the cards between columns as we make progress on them. When we complete the task, we move the card all the way over to a 'Done' column that we create. The columns are the same every week, and each week we need to manually create a new board and all of the columns. It would be great if we could have a new board automatically created each week to satisfy this. Or, at the very least, be able to create new boards from a template, to make this process easier.

Additionally, managing tags is a bit of a problem. We migrated our boards over from Trello, so the old Product team boards and Marketing team boards from Trello each had their own tags, but, some of them overlapped. Favro doesn't offer a way to manage these tags and clean them up, so, assigning tags is difficult. For example, there could be 3 distinct tags for Video: "Video", "video", and "Vids". When creating a new card, and assigning a tag to the card, if I type in 'vid', all 3 of these tags are available to assign to the card. I have to know which tag I'm supposed to use and which I'm supposed to ignore. If I choose the incorrect tag, that could make finding a card later on more difficult.

Overall: Overall - this has been a great productivity software. We have very much enjoyed the ability to have cards live in multiple locations, so that people in different departments can all make updates to the same card.

I've been looking for a tool to replace Trello for a while. Favro is Trello on steroids.

Pros: The ability to turn features on and off. For example swim lanes are huge. Another example is the Slack integration. The core functionality is there, but I can also add additional pieces per project as needed.

I also love the fact that if you can use Trello. Favro feels like its older, stronger, smarter brother. After a while, some of my client Trello boards turned into 30 column monstrosities. Favro allows me to turn those into clean organized boards.

LOVE swim lanes. Swim lanes are a Kanban staple and allow me to easily organize my boards vertically and horizontally.

Also love the Backlog elements. Helps keep things organized and contained.

Clients and most people in general get overwhelmed with too much information. Favro allows me to strip away the noise for my clients so they know exactly where to look and what they need to do. For example, I can hide the backlogs, I can minimize the boards I don't care about. Less noise = more focus.

Cons: I wish the card templates were dynamic. In other words, I create a template, and after updating the card template it updates all the other templates moving forward.

Trello built for real work.

Pros: It's ease of use. It's a better version than a whiteboard and post its (and I don't say that lightly!). It gives our team the same flexibility to structure and re-structure how we organize our work for our current needs as a white board would, but with all the added benefits that delightful software brings. A+!

Cons: I don't have that many annoyances.

At the top of the list would proper two-way sync with JIRA, simply because of all the workflows associated with JIRA are awesome for so many things, except of doing actual work. I would absolutely love if I could get a synced backlog from JIRA, but keep the process of doing work and resolving tickets via Favro. That would honstely be my killer app because someone of the team has do to double work at the moment.

And please don't try to replicate JIRA:s features, embrace it instead.

Another, much smaller thing I would like is to automagically tag all cards in a backlog with a tag as soon as it's added to it. Would make it much easier to get a glance of what areas my team members are working on in the lanes themselves.

And better markdown support with syntax highlighting and such would be a welcome addition as well.

Pros: We switched from Trello to Favro because managing bugs/tasks across sprints became time consuming. Being able to easily see boards across multiple sprints was a huge win. Also, the fact that bugs are always visible is great as well.

Cons: My main wish is if there was a way to quickly identify clutter. For example, bugs that have not been touched for 6+ months are probably not bugs or have already been fixed. Maybe have a way to call attention to those cards for deletion.

It would also be awesome if there was some sort of "smart" check to let the user know that a card being added may have already been added. It can waste quite a bit of time when you start looking into a bug that someone else has already fixed because it was added twice.

Overall: Easier management of sprints and greater insight into time to complete tasks. ie If cards are spanning multiple boards.

The ability to have more granularity over the control of boards was a huge win over trello. That was the main reason for choosing this product over trello.

Easy to use. Constant improvement. You do feel like part of a family due to good customer support.

Pros: Easy to understand and use.
More project structure than in Trello.
Report abilities
More geared towards scrum with estimations (point system).
Clone function.
Distinction between backlog and board
Templates for boards and collections
Copy function

Cons: Relationship between cards difficult to see and check once a ticket is in a board. Subticket relations are hard to maintain and review.

User role/rights management is very rudimentary and needs improving.

Customer fields is a welcome feature.

Several templates per board or backlog are not possible.

Opening a link to card/board/backlog/ etc. will just open that as a singular entity with no ability to move back to the system properly.

Checklist items are not detailed on any of the reports just how much items there are in a list.

Ability to navigate to the next ticket with a keyboard shortcut.

Ability to scroll through pictures if a ticket has more than one attachment.

Ticketnumber is not displayed on tickets when in board view.

Very little export functions for different systems.

Overall: More structure and a better overview for our project.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to set rules, easy to create and assign tasks.
Once you set the rules and procedures adapted to your processes, it's very easy to use and to keep organized. I recommend spending some time setting up processes and rules: It'll make your project management bulletproof, even when multiple team members collaborate in one board.
It's also very easy to switch from one board to the other and it's easy to differentiate your dashboards from one another.
Integrations are amazing, you can connect with many other third-party software.

Cons: Centralized time tracking is not offered, making project accounting difficult.
Multiple clients or projects might require different ways of working, so I recommend diving into the details of the platform to fully understand it and master it.
It also does not provide Gantt chart or project completion graphs that are so useful. I recommend complementing this platform with other tools for these features.
Integrations are very useful to compensate for these cons.

Pros: 1. Great UI for KanBan based products
2. Concept of parent child hierarchies that are not limited to 3 or 4 levels (allows us to do great planning). However, this functionality is really tedious to use in the UI, unlike their Hansoft product.
3. Easy to update cards/add comments/add attachments
4. Multiple assignees to cards
5. Tasklist within cards

Cons: 1. The parent-child hierarchy is nearly impossible to use due to UI design / usability problems
2. Searching and reporting is completely lacking. I wouldn't even call it mediocre, it's just not there. There is some "filtering" which is absolutely unusable for any large project.
3. No ability to link tasks in any way or mark duplicates.
4. *** NO WAY TO EXPORT DATA *** : BEWARE OF THIS
(I wrote my own export using their API, but lost between 30-50% of the details of each card)

Overall: I wouldn't say we had any benefits. We tried it because we liked their other product (Hansoft) which is native, and expected that they would be creating a web-version of what they had or at least something that is feature comparable.

Pros: - Two separate section really make the backlog and current sprint stories easy to maintain
- Separation also gives the clarity to the team, hence increase the team velocity
- Defining a template for each card is a pretty cool feature.
- Having integration with 3rd party softwares like slack, mail really makes easy to track stories

Cons: - Changing the estimation measure at one place changes at every place
- I dont like the new UI, lot of light colors, decreasing the contrast, can't differentiate between different cards easily
- There should be an easy option to get the address of the card, instead of clicking on the card and then copying the card link
- If u write something and accidentally u refresh page those changes are discarded automatically this should not be the case it can be improved

Overall: - Gives more clarity to team and org
- Providing separation of backlog and sprint goals increase the productivity

Pros: 1. Having a customizable backlog in addition to Kanban boards for team members.
2. The estimation field helps us follow scrum/agile process.
3. The ability to tag members, setup workflow rules, card limits, and manage a checklist of tasks to complete that card.
4. Private To Do list

Cons: 1. Would like a "Go To" link to be able to open the card in it's location (whether in a different collection, backlog or board).
2. A way to sort my backlog ( rearrange order by card title, board location, dates, estimation, tags, members, etc.)
3. Double-click to open attachments instead of downloading.
4. The option to add a card from a backlog to a specific columns on a Kanban board (Doing, Done, etc.)
5. Adding/Moving a backlog card to the bottom of the list instead of to the top of the first column.
6. Sync the order/prioritization of backlog cards with a column on the Kanban Board. Meaning, if I have prioritized cards in the backlog, to have that prioritization reflected in the Kanban column.
7. An option to remove tagged jobs from the private To Do list.
8. To have a full screen view of the backlog, similar to what you have for the boards.

Overall: My team knows exactly what to work on, and stakeholder know all the projects that are currently WIP, or on deck.

Pros: Great UI and UX design, very useful for keeping track of big projects with lots of moving parts

Cons: no linked file preview on cards,

confusing to navigate large collections

Overall: We've recently made the transition from Trello to Favro, and on the whole we're very happy with the quality of the software and the service provided. The only constructive criticism i have is:

- having to download linked files to preview them, in trello you could view files linked to cards in browser without having to download them first. This is an essential functionality that favro is sorely lacking!

- when you have multiple long collections of different long lists, it can become quite complicated to navigate around the collections, maybe an expanded set of shortcuts allowing you to jump from collection to collection and card to card could be quite useful in terms of the user experience. At the moment it can be quite tricky to find specific cards in big collections.

Cheers,

Damiaan

Recommendations to other buyers: If working with large collections be careful to file all your cards easily at the start to save a headache later on

Pros: Favro is very easy to use and they continuously deliver new functionality that makes a lot of sense. It's almost like they read my mind.

I've tried other similar solutions in the market and nobody adapts so nicely to an agile/scrum development process. I can keep track of multiple developments, testing and implementation teams in the same tool.

Cons: Since Favro is really a "first of breed" product, some desirable functionality is just not there just yet. However, they're way further ahead than any other similar solution and they deliver new functionality very often.

I do not like the fact that some of the key features are in the top version/pay plan. I do try to get the best out of what I actually have in my version.

Overall: Excellent visibility, a great way to motivate the team and keep them focused on the most relevant stories on a sprint. Overall a very elegant solution for managing software organizations.

Pros: The primary reason we went with Favro was the ability to hierarchically organize cards (like Asana) but also organize workflows like a Kanban tool. This fits our team approach the best. I also like that cards are the atomic unit of organization and that individual cards can show up in multiple boards, backlogs, and collections. In addition, the multiple and cutomizable collections is also helpful.

But one of the best parts of Favro is their responsive and intelligent customer service reps who are able to answer questions quickly and effectively.

Cons: The UI is very text heavy and doesn't allow for incorporating custom iconography. Icons improve efficiency in working with SaaS tools and I see places that would help in Favro. The pricing tiers seem steep. Doubling the monthly rate for an increase from 5 to 10 users feels inappropriate.

Overall: Project management is challenging in startups. Things are moving fast and devoting the resources to tracking progress on reaching goals and organizing your team isn't easy. Favro helps us communicate as a team and track progress on our big goals. The customized collections and views enable our strategic team to look at the "big picture" while our developers can look at the day to day task list, but all our information is synced up.

Pros: We use Favro to manage one product with a small team, having made the switch from Trello when that product couldn't handle our card volume. It's good as organizational software goes. It's nice that you can link cards together. The ability to have multiple boards and backlogs within the space, and to categorize cards within a backlog, are major selling points over Trello.

Cons: It's very difficult to find cards. In Trello you can just do a search and it'll find you cards that have your search terms anywhere. In Favro you have to do an advanced search and look for your search team in individual fields (title, description, etc). This has definitely led to some resentment within our team because it's difficult to track things down.

Overall: It helps our team manage what features we're working on and what we would like to build in the future.

Pros: We were searching for team-collaboration software when we found Favro, and now this system fulfills not only communication duties in our company but also allows us to manage all our projects using both of methodologies(Kanban/Scrum) which exist here not just as a simple addition to the collaboration program but as a full well-realized project-management tool. Prices are also reasonable and suitable as for simple single user the same as for enterprises.

Cons: The person on the chat in the very website provided us with worthy help and enough information before the very purchasing, so there are no complaints. Nevertheless, after the payment and beginning of work the supporting team was not as prompt as those people in the beginning, and this is definitely not good and surely must be changed.

Pros: It gave a quick and easy way to create and mange the tasks of different teams, while at the same time being able to have teams collaborate and understand what all the other teams are working.

The integration of the other software into Favro was also a benefit since we were already using some of them, and they seamlessly worked into the Favro backend.

Cons: In our line of work we share a lot of large files and it would have been nice if it had something that could have integrated into it that could have handled the large file sharing and also integrated into each individual task.

Overall: Managing the progress of multiple teams working on the same project.

Pros: We can look at our work in any scale we want and keep everything connected. It is possible to both comprehensively present high-level roadmap to the stakeholders and keeps the tiny tasks for the development team in the same app. This is huge in terms of sustainability and maintenance of our work.

The tool is incredibly flexible and I'm still trying to get the best from it.

Cons: Sometimes Favro can be overwhelming. Just today I was creating a huge WBS and I was scared I am missing something since the project tree hierarchy is missing some kind of visual cues to prevent accidents (like more group spacing).

Favro is a little bit slow I get a feeling like an app is not running super smoothly like Trello for example and the lag disturbs me a bit. More problematic, however, is the fact that it sometimes hangs up on me altogether I cannot scroll in the backlog for example and need to reload the page.

But my biggest trouble is with card moving when I want to move or add a card to a board or backlog, there is no indication of the collection name and my backlogs and boards are usually simply called "Backlog" and "Board".

I understand that this can be considered a feature more than a bug since the magic of Favro is based on the fact that a board or a backlog can live in multiple places, but still, the collection is my main workspace and my it helps me navigate.

This leads to manual card manipulation using a good old mouse. Which is fine until you need to move card between collections.

Pros: Favro is fast, intuitive and easy to use which means the team is actually using it! Other project management solutions I've used have ended up taking too much admin time. Favro also gives a really great overview when collaborating across teams and the filtering and search functionalities are working great, making sure you always see the cards that you are interested in.

Cons: There are still some features and integrations that I think are missing.. But the development seems to go pretty fast and I'm sure they'll come sooner or later.

Overall: Better team collaboration and less admin time.

Pros: The intuitiveness and flexibility of Favro's boards makes it one of the easiest production tools to use for high-level planning and execution.
The visual design also makes it more appealing to use for most creative-minded folks.

Cons: The same flexibility that is great in some situations works against Favro in other situations. Templatizing for work flows and bug tracking is not as easy to do in Favro currently.
It is very pricey, especially if you would like to try it out for personal use.

Overall: Good, collective high-level alignment for our project. More team involvement in the production process.

Favro is a great tool and very easy to use.

Pros: I love the way cards can be shared across multiple boards. This makes our business tasks much easier to manage as different departments have different access levels for each board. The ability to add media files is also a fantastic feature.

Cons: We used to use Hansoft before the switch over. I feel Favro is lacking a decent burndown feature. The option to just show the title of a card would be really helpful. With the ability to maximise the full card if you are working on a project.

Overall: It makes our daily tasks much more managable. Especially the ones with multiple users working on the same project.

Pros: no limitations for number of users or objects in the app, multiple boards

Cons: more core features, hierarchy tree in backlog

Overall: Really Great App!
I used it on mobile with notifications and on Desktop where functionality of it is really rich.
This tool is much faster, easier and more flexible than JIRA and much more powerful than Trello (especially multiple boards and backlogs).
Also it fits to Software development projects, i guess it fits for any types of project: enterprise or personal or small teams startups.
Definitely worth evaluation.

P.S ( and it's very flexible - you can create your own rules :-) )

Recommendations to other buyers: try to use this app for your projects, more likely you will switch to it from your current tool

Pros: Easy to use and easy to work with our small team
Being able to plan out projects in backlog and then split actionable items in to weeks within boards has made a real difference to our productivity

Cons: We manage all our clients in a single collection (with work divided between two people)
This is great and easy to use, but if we want to export a timeline for a particular client we need to remove members from the tasks not associated with the particular client.
It would be great if we could filter the timeline view on a single backlog within a collection

Overall: Increased productivity, single point for different disciplines to collaborate and more functionality than trello (where we was currently using 2 separate systems for client management and development)

I am very happy with Favro after trying a lot of other applications.

Pros: Ease to use, drag and drop of cards, tasklists... there are so many features which are very handy for organizing project elements.

Cons: Sometimes when user has to use lower screensize / resolution his option to scroll across the row goes away ( could be due to non standard mouse ).
When you expand a section and then work on its cards and then minimize it, its location changes to some other place and then you have to find and scroll back to next item, this wastes a lot of user time, it would be helpful if the location of minimized item stays the same so he can just expand the next row and go over it.

Overall: Hi Team,

Favro definitely has been very helpful in keeping track of our projects and tasks.

It can do some improvements like when someone minimizes a row, it should keep track of the last working section and not scroll to something which I have experienced multiple times.

Secondly an option to enable a scroll to the row ( which can be enabled by user so if his OS is detecting the row size and then enabling scroll and not showing in case he is using non standard mouse )

Let me know if you have questions, feel free to reach me at my contact information below.

Pros: It's fast and easy to use. Since it seems to have been developed in Meteor, everything is synced up quickly. There haven't been any major bugs so it's a very stable product.

Cons: It's sorely lacking a mobile app that's compatible with most common android versions. It doesn't do anything super special, so a webview should do the trick.

At the moment, a JS-API would be really awesome, since it's bothersome to write hosted plugins. Trello has a functional JS-API.

Overall: Fast issue creation and a nice boards. Helps organize the workflow and have a quick overview of the state of development.

We've been using Favro for a while now on my team. Overall there's a lot of things I like about it.

Pros: I like how easy it is to view my projects for the week and to see what my other co workers are working on. Archiving is a really nice feature so the card can be tucked away, but also easily viewed

Cons: I know my coworkers have brought up some issues regarding the program. Personally small things get to me :
1. When I use command H to hide my browser window it hides all the cards.
2. The new format makes it difficult for me to see if new cards have been added
3. It used to be easier to move cards around between collections

Pros: For a team under five persons Favro is super cheap.
We've tried them all (Asana, Trello etc) and none of them has fit us. With favro we are finally getting a tool we use daily without it feeling like it takes up too much time. All of us enjoy using it and have found a great way of managing our time and projects through Favro.

Cons: We really wish there was a better overview of a calender. That way you could set tasks/cards and see your own personal calendar of what has to be done, but also see what your team is working on and deadlines.

Overall: It's been helping our productivity. We have managed to get everything from our production workflow to our sales to be in a very good order. Great piece of software!

Comments: We moved to Favro after all the bottlenecks we faced with Trello.
Few reasons:
- ability to view multiple boards in the same view
- a nice and tidy TODO list per user (no need to go through zillion tickets to figure out what I should do next and what is the prio for the next ticket)
- high level reporting

Without these features, Trello had become unusable for our use cases.

We have great faith in Hansoft as a company and we believe they will take Favro to be the next balanced PM tool which suits both lightweight as well as heavyweight process oriented teams.

Customer support/success peeps have been so great that we can't really complain about anything there. They have worked at lightning speed to resolve feature requests, bug fixes and on-boarding!

Big thanks to Favro team and all the best for the future release! Keep up the great work.

Pros: The ease of use. Moving tickets by dragging and dropping resembles the board where we use sticky notes for tracking tasks. In addition we can add additional description and attachments too that is very helpful. I like the way favro helps me organise our tasks.

Cons: There should be an option to assign the card to a particular member. There is an option to add members but is not similar to assignee.

Overall: It helps us organise our tasks. With multiple people working across the globe, we can find out who is working on what and whats the status of a particular task is. Also, feedback is made easy by commenting on the cards. So, overall it helps us move our project help providing easy collaboration.

Pros: It's a good middle weight - not too heavy and bulky like JIRA - not too light like Trello. Non tech people on my team understand it pretty easily.

Cons: Card UX can be confusing, like managing where exists, making copies etc. Also do not like the "members" status for people. Would prefer explicit "Assignee" and also "Followers" gets confusing who should be working on a task. Visual design could be modernized too, doesn't feel like a "light and easy" place to work. Dropbox Paper is a good example of what I mean by "light and easy" - Also I have to use a trackball mouse, hard to scroll sideways on boards w/ many columns.

Overall: Planning, tracking, feedback management

Pros: It has fundamentally changed the way we manage and oversee projects. the linear movement of cards across the various boards gives a very visual overview of the state of a project. Having the entire team collaborate across different elements of the project but all feeding back into the favro board, it is the beating hear of everything we do!

Cons: No .pdf preview is very annoying (especially when trello has this....)

Pros: It's simple yet flexible, you can make it do some very simple things like you can in Trello, but also it's fantastic for teams and manager's in that you can get a big overall view of an organisation easily, and only give people what they need to do their jobs. Simply, brilliant.

Cons: Right now the only downside of this tool is the Android app (haven't tried iPhone). It's laid out pretty well but slow to load and a bit buggy at times, i.e. the screen freezes. It's the sort of tool best used on desktop anyway, so not a huge issue, but it would be nice to be able to take faster notes and make quick changes more easily on the go.

Pros: It's easiness to use and get new teams/people to use it is as simply as showing it to them. No more long demos and pros/cons meetings. Burndowncharts and reports do work very well and is one of the better built in features.

Cons: It is hard to get a grip on hierarchy when viewing a card directly. The focus on hours in many views creates some problems for us that want to get a good overview on points estimations. The biggest caveat currently though are that you have to be logged in to see a report or burndowncharts which makes it impossible for us to visualize how the sprint is going for the team on our screens.

Pros: The best part of Favro are the powerful abilities to manage sprints and delegate work to other colleagues.

Cons: The most unfortunate part of Favro is the difficulty which is present while using the mobile version (iOS) of the application. for example, you can not save or zoom in on photos attached to cards. Also, when you are attempting to change to another column, you often accidentally drag cards and place them in the incorrect columns.

Overall: The main benefits are to organised the work allotted to my team of artists and developers. We are very productive when we know exactly what needs to be done, the timescale to do it in, and the current progress of the work.

Pros: Customizations and rules that you can asign to the board and columns. Also the cards templatizations.

Cons: Sometimes it's slow and you need to filter cards or boards improve the performance.
It lacks some features like:

- A tipical scrum blackboard view with tasks ordered by user stories

Pros: Favro is relatively clean and easy to figure out for the basics. It's very easy to add, remove, and sort cards.

Cons: Lots of hidden features that make it hard to learn what to do. For example, if I move a card while holding down "shift" vs without holding down shift different things end up happening. And if I do this incorrectly, it is hard to know how to fix it.

Also, if you archive a card by mistake, it is very hard to find that card ever again. It would be great to have a list of cards that I recently changed to address this.

Pros: Better for a project with lots of collaboration

Cons: can't easily see cards that are just assigned to me besides in the single todo list view which I am not a fan off because it stacks everything i need to do and makes it hard to parse, is my todo blocked, in progress?

Overall: My company made the switch to Favro and it has been _fine_

The number one thing i miss about favor is the ability to filter just cards that were assigned to me. I understand that there is a todo list on the right side that lists thing assigned to me but I can't parse it as well as when I could see trello items assigned to me and which columns they were in. For a large project with lots of collaboration favro does seem better as things can belong to multiple categories and multiple people can complete there portion of the task at once. Mainly I just wish I could use favro as usual and just hit a checkbox to see only cards that I am assigned to across the whole project.

Recommendations to other buyers: It seems to have a lot more overhead than Trello and I would never use it for a personal project over trello. Again Favro isn't bad just at times confuses me more

Pros: Everyone's involved, and we are easily thrown into projects where we are needed. It is exact, to the point and a lot faster to set up tasks and projects than in Jira.

Cons: Recurring tasks is a big one for us. Currently we're just moving to the right in new Monthly columns. I like to actually have things checked off as done, but these cards just follow us month to month (which is what we need but doesn't give a sense of closure and also offsets a lot of features to measure our progress)

Pros: Mulitple boards in a collection is probably the major drawcard for us;
Separating the backlog from the boards and then having multiple boards within the backlog is brilliant;
Having a ToDo across all collections and boards list is very handy;
Creating relationships between cards;
Custom background images while not important really make the product a to work with;

Cons: These are 'nice to haves', and don't really impact on using the product to any major degree: Slack integration needs some work, I would really love the interaction between the two to be in both directions - Slack shows the updates to cards etc, while Favro cards can be added/edited with Slack commands;
Can't organise Collections into groups;
Switching between organisations is tedious - could be streamlined so you remain logged in any number of organisation;
Would prefer if I could limit tags to specific collections;

Pros: I like Favro because of its ease of use. It has a really low learning curve. Its also great because of its software integration is great. This means that Favro can be customised to suit a user's needs

Cons: I feel that Favro needs hourly tacking. Currently its easy to track tasks in terms of days and weeks, but it makes it a little tricky for hourly tracking.

Pros: It's got a very Trello kanban interface which is more suitable for project managing across a whole engineering organization. Most tools focus on agile for developers and they leave out design, admin, etc... But, Favro has a combination of good Github integration and flexibility to support other departments. We do everything in Favro.

Cons: More customization around grouping issues, dependencies,
Github integration could be made better. But, it's one of the best out there.

Better github bi-directional support. Basically anything that happens in Github and vice versa
PRs could be related to issues and then close those issues when a PR is created. Wishlist stuff

Increased workflow customization is needed. But, these are features that can happen over time and make a good product better.

Overall: Project management and team visibility - which is what I was looking for

Pros: Easy to use interface; can make updates quickly and easily; permissions keep things clean; time tracking is easy to use and allocate time per project; notifications keep updated on boards that I rarely use but need to be privy to information

Cons: When using 'tree view' it's difficult to understand that card-within-a- card I'm working on.
Tracking hours for more than one day (have to track hours each day rather than monthly)

Pros: I love the second by second user experience you guys have built - very streamlined, easy to use, etc. The general layout of multiple boards on one page is fantastic, and far preferred over trello, etc.

Cons: My needs for the software are quite simple, but it's an expensive tool for basic task tracker that I use it for

Pros: Good and clear UI.
We can manage BE / BI / Web / Phone clients in one collection.
The tool is "techie" enough for our Devs and simple enough for all other business units in our company.

Cons: What we really miss and what would be a blocker for further usage if our company is doing a good job and grows is the option to build child-relations, dependencies, and status-updates on cards in and between boards. Nice to have would be an option to assign an 'owner' to a card or card families.

Detailed yet simple - just how it should be.

Pros: How simple it looks, the user experience, the customer service, the versatility. We use it in our company to both manage our internal management affairs and our projects - every feature works for both.

Cons: I wouldn't say "like least", but just something extra we figured we needed for the "to-do list" part. We have some business we need to follow up on a really long term and some business that needs to be dealt within a time period. So we first used to assign members to all of them, but it began to be somewhat tiring to distinguish which ones are urgent and which ones are not in the to-do list, individually. We had to remove members from the long term ones since we cannot seperate them in the to-do list. So maybe some kind of seperate customizable grouping would be really good in the to-do list.

Overall: Order and ease of tracking in all business.

Pros: + Separates backlogs from the weekly Kanban
+ Can be used by engineers as well as non-engineers
+ Integrates to Slack really well!!

Cons: - A bit clunky switching between projects
- Tagging someone on a task doesn't always let them know about updates to the task (Asana does this better)
- Would be nice to be able to comment and do things from Slack that posts directly to Favro

Overall: We've now been able to track tasks across the team and separate out the workboards for different team members

Pros: I like that my tasks are more visual, and I have a lot of options to organize. The customer support is really good and instant. Favro is constantly working on their features, witch of course has pros and cons - but I feel that they really listen to feedback.

Cons: I'm a single user, and I am sure I am not using the full potential of the system. I might need to take a day to research how to better setup my whole workspace. I sometimes have problems with english being my second language and that I don't know a whole lot about productivity systems.

I wish I could get help with setting up the workflow. My needs does not seem to fit the templates.

Overall: I get a better overview. And I use it to remember what I am doing right now, and what comes next. And to not forget unrelated tasks, that is assigned to me while I am cought up in another assignment.

Pros: Gives clients visibility of work and allows developers and designers to communicate with them really clearly on individual tasks, cutting down on email chains and admin time. It also has a really helpful calendar tool.

Pros: Card based tracking seamlessly tied with nested backlog lists...that alone makes this worth it. There's also a ton of features that tie right into the card based method; todo lists, calanders, etc. It's all very handy and simple to use...and very powerful too.

Cons: Can get a bit slow with 1000s of cards that all have preview thumbnails. An "autohide" images might speed things up a bit?

Pros: the backlogs in the tree mode are quite awesome. They give the possibility to minimise the backlogs to 'titles only' and then reserve room for the actual board.

Cons: Search works only for ticket titles and doesnt include the content of the ticket (Why oh why?) - very bad for searching that one ticket that you remember from few weeks ago.
there is no feature for tickets that could be created for recurring tasks (same content, with e.g. tickboxes) & they could be scheduled to appear at any given time and have a fixed due date) - I like it the least that so many of my favourite features are missing coming from kanban flow

Overall: we have more freedom for our dev team. If we could have chosen, the CS team could have stayed behind using kanban flow. Some improvements to the previous product but quite big minuses for the missing key features.

Pros: We do not need to track scrum speed or similar, and instead we need to get everybody on the same page on who does what, in a sparse team over multiple sites. Favro has some features that make it more desirable than its most famous competitors: duration of tasks, overview of a person's tasks over multiple boards, tracking of card age, two status of avatars (you can tag who is done on a card), etc. Really cool for team management when you grow to 5+ teams on 4+ sites and people working remotely!

Cons: Nothing bad for the moment, only a bit of an investment for a (non-American) startup budget. Customer support mark of 4 is like that only because we did not yet try it.

Overall: Better team management, who does what, very flexible board design, tracking of tasks across all boards, etc

Cons: According to our developers in the Favre, there is not enough api comfort.

Pros: It looks nice compared to other task management tools I've used before, namely JIRA. UI is mostly fast enough to not be frustrating.

Cons: Favro has strange restrictions and quirks. For example: the setting if you want to use hours or points for estimate is global for the entire organisation. Another would be that there can only be one owner per Collection, this makes sharing administrative work unnecessarily difficult.

Pros: The backlogs, I love the backlogs, they are powerful and quite "visual" to work with, it makes so easy the collaboration between teams inside an organization, communication reach faster the desired recipient, and make easier the tracking operations. Also the possibility to work with several boards at the same time, the potential is about to get real!

Cons: Sadly, the integration with mails is not good enough, also the impossibility to paste images in a comment, that is a big problem for us, we handle a lot of graphical information as aid for diagnosing and bug-catching. I don't like the mobile app as well, it is so confusing to me and not powerful as the browser edition.

Overall: Seamless integration with other departments, which contribute delivering our software faster and much more solid.

Pros: The ability to create boards for each month's Sprint planning helps in organizing as well as giving our team an overall few of what tasks and projects are assigned to each member by cards. For each card, it is easy to track the progress and updates from each team member and this helps in weekly & monthly meetings. Notification alerts helps in getting important updates.

Cons: Few minor UI fixes can improve the software. One thing I would like to see improvement is that for a particular board having lots of cards, the horizontal scroll bar should be fixed at the browser window level so that it becomes easier for user to view other columns in the same board.

Pros: I found the table form of backlog is quite useful since you can also customise necessary column for each task. And the swimlanes. It's like moving my backlog from sheet into a platform where I can just drag & drop each task to a board. The overall card & board UI are also nice, but it would be nice if we can also configure information shown on the card, so we can instantly know what's the card about without having to open it first.

Cons: I need a kind of gantt chart tools to support my work. Favro has timeline that is used only to see members workload overtime. I wish in the future there will be more of a gantt chart tools so I can have a more detailed timeline of each task.

Cons: If you set an end date, the date stays red if you are past that date, even if all users are complete. If all users are complete, dates should not be red.

Pros: Our company was in need of a project management software because several employees would have to ask the same question or reiterate things or even lose track of projects and Favro keeps it all in one convenient spot.

Cons: When you have a large number of employees the software can get expensive because it is a per-user fee

Overall: Keeping track of our companies projects!

Helpful, nice looking, very fast!

Pros: Speed and design. The app works well and has very decent functionality that coveres most of our needs.

Cons: The project planner view since it doesnt seem to work properly. Very hard to use, dont understand how it works.

Overall: Time tracking and billing customers for the time spent. Organizing. Would love to see workflows implemented and better Zapier integration, please! Then it will be better than jira.

Pros: - Possibility to separate projects in collections
- Possibility to see more than one board on a page
- Lanes (payed feature)

Cons: - Some small features, like Lanes, are payed;
- Price is prohibitive for brazilian users due to the currency converter.

Overall: I was looking for a online tool to manage my personal and professional projects with a kanbam/scrum aproach. Favro is the best I've found.

Simple, easy to handle, sometimes a bit laborious but at all a great tool.

Pros: It's a great tool for managing task and projects and as a team leader, its great for me to keep the overview.

Cons: Some steps are a bit laborious or like you have the feeling that it have to go easier but you don´t know how. But in the end there a not much points to critise.

Overall: It's a great tool to organize my tasks and the tasks of the team and to keep an overview over all tasks.

It is easy to understand but sometimes it feels clunky

Pros: The cards are very easy to use, move around, tag, estimate etc. You know what is happening.
for our customerd it is very visual and they know what is happening eith the project

Cons: Sometimes it takes too much time to load it's not that easy to navigate through boards. Im now using the new look and feels better

Overall: Overview of the our company deevelopments

There are also some great features, however for every great feature there is a missing feature.

Pros: I like the various ways to link and view information. I like that we can assign cards to team members and monitor their progress.

Cons: I wish there were more options for categorization and organization. We had to create a special category for "Client Name" on each of our cards. Then, we have to manually change that category for every card when we add a new client. We would like to be able to select a group of cards and change custom names and categories to all selected. Also, we would like to be able to just click a button inside a column (not a board) to order all cards in a column by due date (similar to the options in and excel spreadsheet).

Overall: This helps us monitor team member activity and project task completions.

Since the new update, it's been much easier to differentiate the cards and components.

Pros: I really like the ease of moving cards to a certain column and allows us to keep track of tasks and things in order to have a smooth process.

Cons: At times, the clock for the timesheet doesn't work properly based on what we use it for. The amount of time working on a project seems inaccurate. So I have to keep a manual timesheet on another app.

Amazingly simple yet fast

Pros: Ease of use and flexibility to make workflows as per everyone's requirement. It is amazing to see how trello and Jira got married in this beautiful product.

Cons: The reporting aspect needs work. It is difficult to easily create one. Probably, having some templates might help.

Also, an high level view is difficult to gauge.

Overall: Ease of communication

Pros: It's very user friendly and requires very little time to understand and setup. That's how project management software should be, so you can spend all your time actually working.

Cons: I think the UI could be prettier. Also at first it's pretty hard to find out how to set up new boards for individual team members.

Overall: I get a good overview of my workweek

Good, ok, nothing major to complain. Might be but dont remember right now.

Pros: Look and feel is better than Trello. There is something that makes is better than Trello which we could use for free. Not sure what those things are tho. Users are not typically able to tell, and thats my case now.

Cons: I dont know. Maybe its calendar view or view of the tasks in a time line. Thought we could use it but seems no.

Pretty good, mostly a smooth experience. Great way to have an overview of our office work flow

Pros: I like that it's fast, and you get a great top down view while also balancing the granular level. Other project management apps, have too many screens and sub sub sub sub levels, and info get's easily lost.

Cons: The task list is very basic, it's difficult to sort and organise to plan your day. It would be great if you could sort tasks by project, and also star or flag tasks as priorities.

Overall: At a glance I can get an overview of all our projects, and break each project down into tasks at the granular level, assign and check the progress of each step. Previously we've used trello, but you can't easily assign cards to people, and then have your own task list. We've also tried asana, however, it's slow, and you can't see all the projects at once in one view.

Favro is very effective and flexible.

Pros: The attachments with the famous applications, theme of the interface, board management, permission between the members and administrators, and inviting the members to specific collection.

Cons: Scrolling between cards and boards.
Responsivity with other devices.
Getting the notifications in the menu as new feeds.
