Pros: Easy to use and efficient. Dashboard is user friendly and easy to navigate. Great at helping me complete tasks and help the team stay organized

Cons: So far only using the free trial. Seems pricey compared to other products, however still comparing prices and tools.

Seems like too many places to put thing. You need a predetermined method of filling out the data.

Pros: It's easy to move information around. Moving things from columns, adding more information to cards. The GUI is very awesome.

Cons: Mosty not knowing how best to organize information. Spending more time with the system i would be able to figure out the best way. But there doesnt seem to be an easy intuitive way to approach it.

Overall: a single point to go to get an overall view of what i needed to do, and what others were doing.

Probably the easiest way to work as a team.

Pros: Visually aesthetic, easy to use and well made with the little company in mind, fast to work with and well structured

Cons: It should implement a way to look for favros that you own , it becomes a little slow with heavy use

Pros: It is very easy to track work with multiple people involved in a task. Using the boards was a good way to organize tasks to a specific sprint or project group

Cons: It could be cumbersome to move tasks around, and there is no good way to link the tasks to requirements.

Pros: I really enjoy using Favro.
All my work processes are built in it.
Our entire company interacts with each other only through Favro

Cons: According to our developers in the Favre, there is not enough api comfort.
We have a need to transfer data from the Estimate field to the database and as I understood it to be not easy.

Overall: Favro is an excellent task management tool because: It's easy to use. Allows multiple boards per collection. Cool Integrations

Pros: I like Favro because of its ease of use. It has a really low learning curve. Its also great because of its software integration is great. This means that Favro can be customised to suit a user's needs

Cons: I feel that Favro needs hourly tacking. Currently its easy to track tasks in terms of days and weeks, but it makes it a little tricky for hourly tracking.

It's been relatively good. I work for a SAAS company developing web projects for each customer.

Pros: The UI/UX and visibility of the various working being performed. I like the previews in the cards too.

Cons: That data can't be exported, i.e. time spent on certain queues. We keep track of how much time we spend in development, design, how much data effort we're using and have to manually extract that data.

Pros: Favro helps me Keep my Tasks Organized, and I can prioritize on what needs to be done ASAP.
It helps manage my daily work task and personal life in a time frame. Things that need to get done and by when. I can always refer back to Favro in case I forget something, I can add from any Device like my computer or tablet. Keeps everything in one area.

Cons: I have to scroll thru the Board. Sometimes it takes me a while to get to the section I want to get to. But overall its great

Overall: Better Time Management, And organization.

Pros: Ease of use. It's very quick to be in control. All of my staff are way more focus on objective. In the end I'm sure we save time ($$) using Favro.

Cons: A bit expensive for small business. Lack of option in many place. Workflow Rules are basic. We need more feature in this area. This Mobile version quand be a little tricky to use on Ipad and on Phone.

Overall: This is, for now, the perfect companion for my team. We use it every day.

Pros: The possibility of linking card together it's by itself a huge improvement in comparison to Trello. Customization and card options are also a very handful.

Cons: I think collection functionalities are somewhat hard to find such as the collection's members. There is also a big important problem that is: when you use Favro a lot, with several boards and card, it gets so much difficult to understand whats going on

It has been a very helpful tool for managing projects.

Pros: The ability to create a task management workflow in a flexible way, that has some clear rules. For example, having a backlog different to an active board, that looks different, it very useful.

Cons: The mobile app isn't as clean as the desktop app. Moving cards is a weird interaction, for example, and visualizing backlogs + boards is so different from desktop that it's almost like a different app all together. I use the mobile app only to add things quickly, but it's so conceptually different that I use it for little else.

Overall: A one-stop-view at all the project that I need to worry about.

Pros: Stacked boards and backlogs are great. Kanban metrics are decent though somewhat basic. The ability to alias cards in multiple locations is terrific.

Cons: Still needs a lot of features to make it really competitive for Kanban: swim lanes, multi-column limits, better analytics that can differentiate work states from queues, associating policies with backlogs/boards/columns, naming colors, blocking of cards.

Pros: Drag and drop. Add new cards is a very smooth process. People can clear see what's on the dashboard.

Pros: Multiple boards in the same collection and sharing of cards between those boards. And the UX. And integrations.

Cons: Minor, but if I send a url of a card to a colleague, when they click it, they see only the card - they can't easily see which board it came from, so they lose context

Pros: Easy to use and easy to work with our small team
Being able to plan out projects in backlog and then split actionable items in to weeks within boards has made a real difference to our productivity

Cons: We manage all our clients in a single collection (with work divided between two people)
This is great and easy to use, but if we want to export a timeline for a particular client we need to remove members from the tasks not associated with the particular client.
It would be great if we could filter the timeline view on a single backlog within a collection

Overall: Increased productivity, single point for different disciplines to collaborate and more functionality than trello (where we was currently using 2 separate systems for client management and development)

Favro solves most of my problems. It needs some UX refinements and a better hierarchy ux in cardview

Pros: It's easiness to use and get new teams/people to use it is as simply as showing it to them. No more long demos and pros/cons meetings. Burndowncharts and reports do work very well and is one of the better built in features.

Cons: It is hard to get a grip on hierarchy when viewing a card directly. The focus on hours in many views creates some problems for us that want to get a good overview on points estimations. The biggest caveat currently though are that you have to be logged in to see a report or burndowncharts which makes it impossible for us to visualize how the sprint is going for the team on our screens.

Pros: Favro is so easy to use, the customer support is very good and fast responding, i haven't experienced any bugs, the search function is very good and can be used for advanced searching, the archiving is good, lots of hotkeys/shortcuts, great intergration and apps,

Cons: There could be more options for customisation for the Collections. I wish the collections could be but in folders or something similar to keep it more organized.

Overall: I can keep tasks organized and it removes the need of Post-it notes. I can document my work and generate reports. I can know what i have to do, and in what order i have to do it (prioritizing).

Pros: We can look at our work in any scale we want and keep everything connected. It is possible to both comprehensively present high-level roadmap to the stakeholders and keeps the tiny tasks for the development team in the same app. This is huge in terms of sustainability and maintenance of our work.

The tool is incredibly flexible and I'm still trying to get the best from it.

Cons: Sometimes Favro can be overwhelming. Just today I was creating a huge WBS and I was scared I am missing something since the project tree hierarchy is missing some kind of visual cues to prevent accidents (like more group spacing).

Favro is a little bit slow I get a feeling like an app is not running super smoothly like Trello for example and the lag disturbs me a bit. More problematic, however, is the fact that it sometimes hangs up on me altogether I cannot scroll in the backlog for example and need to reload the page.

But my biggest trouble is with card moving when I want to move or add a card to a board or backlog, there is no indication of the collection name and my backlogs and boards are usually simply called "Backlog" and "Board".

I understand that this can be considered a feature more than a bug since the magic of Favro is based on the fact that a board or a backlog can live in multiple places, but still, the collection is my main workspace and my it helps me navigate.

This leads to manual card manipulation using a good old mouse. Which is fine until you need to move card between collections.

Pros: The intuitiveness and flexibility of Favro's boards makes it one of the easiest production tools to use for high-level planning and execution.
The visual design also makes it more appealing to use for most creative-minded folks.

Cons: The same flexibility that is great in some situations works against Favro in other situations. Templatizing for work flows and bug tracking is not as easy to do in Favro currently.
It is very pricey, especially if you would like to try it out for personal use.

Overall: Good, collective high-level alignment for our project. More team involvement in the production process.

Cons: Some of the settings or features can be counterintuitive, such as renaming cards or boards. That's nothing big though. And I wish it was possible to (a) share individual board dropdowns with coworkers or copy them to other boards, and (b) to communicate directly in Favro without having to use outside software, like Slack.

Overall: Organization and clear ordering of task and project flow.

It was very easy to get started and to keep going with Favro.

Pros: Collaboration! We needed a way to get all of our team members around the globe moving in the same direction. This tool has been critical in helping us achieve that goal.

Cons: A number of small things -- email alerts that you click on can be confusing. You don't know which collection you're in or you can easily get lost. Navigation needs to improve.

Pros: Gives clients visibility of work and allows developers and designers to communicate with them really clearly on individual tasks, cutting down on email chains and admin time. It also has a really helpful calendar tool.

Cons: We have a board that contains a lot of backlogs and you have to let everything load before you can do anything, which can be frustrating.

Overall: Really helpful project management tool in terms of managing current sprint and planning future work.

Pros: It's simple yet flexible, you can make it do some very simple things like you can in Trello, but also it's fantastic for teams and manager's in that you can get a big overall view of an organisation easily, and only give people what they need to do their jobs. Simply, brilliant.

Cons: Right now the only downside of this tool is the Android app (haven't tried iPhone). It's laid out pretty well but slow to load and a bit buggy at times, i.e. the screen freezes. It's the sort of tool best used on desktop anyway, so not a huge issue, but it would be nice to be able to take faster notes and make quick changes more easily on the go.

Pros: I like that it's fast, and you get a great top down view while also balancing the granular level. Other project management apps, have too many screens and sub sub sub sub levels, and info get's easily lost.

Cons: The task list is very basic, it's difficult to sort and organise to plan your day. It would be great if you could sort tasks by project, and also star or flag tasks as priorities.

Overall: At a glance I can get an overview of all our projects, and break each project down into tasks at the granular level, assign and check the progress of each step. Previously we've used trello, but you can't easily assign cards to people, and then have your own task list. We've also tried asana, however, it's slow, and you can't see all the projects at once in one view.

Pros: It looks nice compared to other task management tools I've used before, namely JIRA. UI is mostly fast enough to not be frustrating.

Cons: Favro has strange restrictions and quirks. For example: the setting if you want to use hours or points for estimate is global for the entire organisation. Another would be that there can only be one owner per Collection, this makes sharing administrative work unnecessarily difficult.

Pros: 1. Having a customizable backlog in addition to Kanban boards for team members.
2. The estimation field helps us follow scrum/agile process.
3. The ability to tag members, setup workflow rules, card limits, and manage a checklist of tasks to complete that card.
4. Private To Do list

Cons: 1. Would like a "Go To" link to be able to open the card in it's location (whether in a different collection, backlog or board).
2. A way to sort my backlog ( rearrange order by card title, board location, dates, estimation, tags, members, etc.)
3. Double-click to open attachments instead of downloading.
4. The option to add a card from a backlog to a specific columns on a Kanban board (Doing, Done, etc.)
5. Adding/Moving a backlog card to the bottom of the list instead of to the top of the first column.
6. Sync the order/prioritization of backlog cards with a column on the Kanban Board. Meaning, if I have prioritized cards in the backlog, to have that prioritization reflected in the Kanban column.
7. An option to remove tagged jobs from the private To Do list.
8. To have a full screen view of the backlog, similar to what you have for the boards.

Overall: My team knows exactly what to work on, and stakeholder know all the projects that are currently WIP, or on deck.

Pros: the backlogs in the tree mode are quite awesome. They give the possibility to minimise the backlogs to 'titles only' and then reserve room for the actual board.

Cons: Search works only for ticket titles and doesnt include the content of the ticket (Why oh why?) - very bad for searching that one ticket that you remember from few weeks ago.
there is no feature for tickets that could be created for recurring tasks (same content, with e.g. tickboxes) & they could be scheduled to appear at any given time and have a fixed due date) - I like it the least that so many of my favourite features are missing coming from kanban flow

Overall: we have more freedom for our dev team. If we could have chosen, the CS team could have stayed behind using kanban flow. Some improvements to the previous product but quite big minuses for the missing key features.

We now use it for our inbound marketing agency, and we've had an almost seamless transition.

Pros: Favro is relatively clean and easy to figure out for the basics. It's very easy to add, remove, and sort cards.

Cons: Lots of hidden features that make it hard to learn what to do. For example, if I move a card while holding down "shift" vs without holding down shift different things end up happening. And if I do this incorrectly, it is hard to know how to fix it.

Also, if you archive a card by mistake, it is very hard to find that card ever again. It would be great to have a list of cards that I recently changed to address this.

Pros: It's fast and easy to use. Since it seems to have been developed in Meteor, everything is synced up quickly. There haven't been any major bugs so it's a very stable product.

Cons: It's sorely lacking a mobile app that's compatible with most common android versions. It doesn't do anything super special, so a webview should do the trick.

Pros: We switched from Trello to Favro because managing bugs/tasks across sprints became time consuming. Being able to easily see boards across multiple sprints was a huge win. Also, the fact that bugs are always visible is great as well.

Cons: My main wish is if there was a way to quickly identify clutter. For example, bugs that have not been touched for 6+ months are probably not bugs or have already been fixed. Maybe have a way to call attention to those cards for deletion.

It would also be awesome if there was some sort of "smart" check to let the user know that a card being added may have already been added. It can waste quite a bit of time when you start looking into a bug that someone else has already fixed because it was added twice.

Overall: Easier management of sprints and greater insight into time to complete tasks. ie If cards are spanning multiple boards.

The ability to have more granularity over the control of boards was a huge win over trello. That was the main reason for choosing this product over trello.

Cons: Recurring tasks is a big one for us. Currently we're just moving to the right in new Monthly columns. Pros: It's ease of use. It's a better version than a whiteboard and post its (and I don't say that lightly!). It gives our team the same flexibility to structure and re-structure how we organize our work for our current needs as a white board would, but with all the added benefits that delightful software brings. A+!

Cons: I don't have that many annoyances.

At the top of the list would proper two-way sync with JIRA, simply because of all the workflows associated with JIRA are awesome for so many things, except of doing actual work. I would absolutely love if I could get a synced backlog from JIRA, but keep the process of doing work and resolving tickets via Favro. That would honstely be my killer app because someone of the team has do to double work at the moment.

And please don't try to replicate JIRA:s features, embrace it instead.

Another, much smaller thing I would like is to automagically tag all cards in a backlog with a tag as soon as it's added to it. Would make it much easier to get a glance of what areas my team members are working on in the lanes themselves.

And better markdown support with syntax highlighting and such would be a welcome addition as well.

Pros: The ease of use has allowed our team to get things done a lot faster. We have so many remote employees and now we can all connect and be on the same page.

Cons: Lack of swim lanes causes use to have to "hack" a few things. When moving things around it moves you to different boards and thats kinda annoying

Pros: Easy to use interface; can make updates quickly and easily; permissions keep things clean; time tracking is easy to use and allocate time per project; notifications keep updated on boards that I rarely use but need to be privy to information

Cons: When using 'tree view' it's difficult to understand that card-within-a- card I'm working on.
Tracking hours for more than one day (have to track hours each day rather than monthly)

Overall: organization and project management (keeping projects on time and completed in full)

Pros: Like the card file system, tagging options, and categorizing of various processes. Great for monthly scheduling follow-up.

Cons: A bit difficult to scroll and search for active cards to update when we have so so so many. Would like an easier search to located and click active card in it's specific process category.

Overall: A central location for all team members to track process and workflow while providing transparency to all including Management.

Pros: 1. Great UI for KanBan based products
2. Concept of parent child hierarchies that are not limited to 3 or 4 levels (allows us to do great planning). However, this functionality is really tedious to use in the UI, unlike their Hansoft product.
3. Easy to update cards/add comments/add attachments
4. Multiple assignees to cards
5. Tasklist within cards

Cons: 1. The parent-child hierarchy is nearly impossible to use due to UI design / usability problems
2. Searching and reporting is completely lacking. I wouldn't even call it mediocre, it's just not there. There is some "filtering" which is absolutely unusable for any large project.
3. No ability to link tasks in any way or mark duplicates.
4. *** NO WAY TO EXPORT DATA *** : BEWARE OF THIS
(I wrote my own export using their API, but lost between 30-50% of the details of each card)

Overall: I wouldn't say we had any benefits. We tried it because we liked their other product (Hansoft) which is native, and expected that they would be creating a web-version of what they had or at least something that is feature comparable.

Pros: This service is fantastic and provides such an easy to use platform, even for people with limited experience of collaboration tools or kanban style project boards- good integration with to do lists aswell

Cons: Primarily used the free version and found I had enough functionality for main tasks- I was put off slightly by the paid plans as the price per user meant for medium teams the price for the small business I was in was too high

Detailed yet simple - just how it should be.

Pros: How simple it looks, the user experience, the customer service, the versatility. We use it in our company to both manage our internal management affairs and our projects - every feature works for both.

Cons: I wouldn't say "like least", but just something extra we figured we needed for the "to-do list" part. We have some business we need to follow up on a really long term and some business that needs to be dealt within a time period. So we first used to assign members to all of them, but it began to be somewhat tiring to distinguish which ones are urgent and which ones are not in the to-do list, individually. We had to remove members from the long term ones since we cannot seperate them in the to-do list. So maybe some kind of seperate customizable grouping would be really good in the to-do list.

Overall: Order and ease of tracking in all business.

Pros: Mulitple boards in a collection is probably the major drawcard for us;
Separating the backlog from the boards and then having multiple boards within the backlog is brilliant;
Having a ToDo across all collections and boards list is very handy;
Creating relationships between cards;
Custom background images while not important really make the product a to work with;

Cons: These are 'nice to haves', and don't really impact on using the product to any major degree: Slack integration needs some work, I would really love the interaction between the two to be in both directions - Slack shows the updates to cards etc, while Favro cards can be added/edited with Slack commands;
Can't organise Collections into groups;
Switching between organisations is tedious - could be streamlined so you remain logged in any number of organisation;
Would prefer if I could limit tags to specific collections;

Pros: It's a very clear, very neat software. I like the quick overview you have with the cards of all your important tasks. It's very easy to customize.

Cons: I really don't like that when you have a lot of cards in a column you need to scroll all the way down below to adjust the view from left to right. It really bothers me and overall consumes a lot of time, I cannot miss.

Pros: Favro is very easy to use and they continuously deliver new functionality that makes a lot of sense. It's almost like they read my mind.

I've tried other similar solutions in the market and nobody adapts so nicely to an agile/scrum development process. I can keep track of multiple developments, testing and implementation teams in the same tool.

Cons: Since Favro is really a "first of breed" product, some desirable functionality is just not there just yet. However, they're way further ahead than any other similar solution and they deliver new functionality very often.

I do not like the fact that some of the key features are in the top version/pay plan. I do try to get the best out of what I actually have in my version.

Overall: Excellent visibility, a great way to motivate the team and keep them focused on the most relevant stories on a sprint. Overall a very elegant solution for managing software organizations.

Pros: Card based tracking seamlessly tied with nested backlog lists...that alone makes this worth it. There's also a ton of features that tie right into the card based method; todo lists, calanders, etc. It's all very handy and simple to use...and very powerful too.

Cons: Can get a bit slow with 1000s of cards that all have preview thumbnails. An "autohide" images might speed things up a bit?

Overall: It's easy to use collaboratively in a cloud based environment.

Pros: The backlogs, I love the backlogs, they are powerful and quite "visual" to work with, it makes so easy the collaboration between teams inside an organization, communication reach faster the desired recipient, and make easier the tracking operations. Also the possibility to work with several boards at the same time, the potential is about to get real!

Cons: Sadly, the integration with mails is not good enough, also the impossibility to paste images in a comment, that is a big problem for us, we handle a lot of graphical information as aid for diagnosing and bug-catching. I don't like the mobile app as well, it is so confusing to me and not powerful as the browser edition.

Overall: Seamless integration with other departments, which contribute delivering our software faster and much more solid.

Pros: It blows the other similar web-based solutions out of the water! Way more advanced features out of the box, and the Card/Board/Backlog workflow is a perfect in its simplicity while still allowing lots of advance uses. Also it's Swedish!

Cons: Because it's still relatively new, Favro is lacking some features I would like to see. However things are being rolled out at a surprising rate.

Overall: Not being restrained like with other similar software like Trello, while also not having to use something clunky like Jira.

Pros: It has fundamentally changed the way we manage and oversee projects. the linear movement of cards across the various boards gives a very visual overview of the state of a project. Having the entire team collaborate across different elements of the project but all feeding back into the favro board, it is the beating hear of everything we do!

Cons: No .pdf preview is very annoying (especially when trello has this....)

Pros: The flexibility of how to use it , to be able to create a backlog for each project I am running. I was very happy to be contacted by Favro after signing up with advice and ideas of how to use it as an admin person, very useful for my work with Favro. Also, the person contacting me was proffessional and in no way pushy or "sell-y". Which I appreciated.

Cons: I would like to be able to customize it to my company's colors and logo. Overall it could be made "prettier" with different fonts and effects.

Pros: The ability to create boards for each month's Sprint planning helps in organizing as well as giving our team an overall few of what tasks and projects are assigned to each member by cards. For each card, it is easy to track the progress and updates from each team member and this helps in weekly & monthly meetings. Notification alerts helps in getting important updates.

Cons: Few minor UI fixes can improve the software. One thing I would like to see improvement is that for a particular board having lots of cards, the horizontal scroll bar should be fixed at the browser window level so that it becomes easier for user to view other columns in the same board.

Overall: This is our team collaboration software and it becomes easy for our Sprint planning for monthly tasks and projects.

Pros: It doesn't break. It's purple, and the interface is logically laid out.

Without this tool, my inter-team communication would take a huge hit. I love the tags, I love that I can rearrange the cards on the fly and I love the labels for the card categories.

Cons: The lack of an individual theming system. It would be great if each user could make theme changes to their Favro board that only displays to them. Some people have a harder time with certain colours or simply want to reduce eyestrain during the workday.

Overall: It helps me get things done and track the bigger picture tasks as well as the daily tasks for my team.

Pros: For a team under five persons Favro is super cheap.
We've tried them all (Asana, Trello etc) and none of them has fit us. With favro we are finally getting a tool we use daily without it feeling like it takes up too much time. All of us enjoy using it and have found a great way of managing our time and projects through Favro.

Cons: We really wish there was a better overview of a calender. That way you could set tasks/cards and see your own personal calendar of what has to be done, but also see what your team is working on and deadlines.

Overall: It's been helping our productivity. We have managed to get everything from our production workflow to our sales to be in a very good order. Great piece of software!
