Pros Card based tracking seamlessly tied with nested backlog lists...that alone makes this worth it. There's also a ton of features that tie right into the card based method; todo lists, calanders, etc. It's all very handy and simple to use...and very powerful too. I enjoyed Favro. Certainly feature rich and a good option for remote teams. I like all of the different board types that you can easily toggle through. Easy navigation and easy to assign tasks to team members. Cons We're a small remote team, and while I enjoyed the platform, Favro was a little expensive for us per team member given there are so many other options out there. March 22, 2018 3.0 Pros It looks nice compared to other task management tools I've used before, namely JIRA. UI is mostly fast enough to not be frustrating. Cons Favro has strange restrictions and quirks. For example: the setting if you want to use hours or points for estimate is global for the entire organisation. Pros The backlogs, I love the backlogs, they are powerful and quite "visual" to work with, it makes so easy the collaboration between teams inside an organization, communication reach faster the desired recipient, and make easier the tracking operations. Also the possibility to work with several boards at the same time, the potential is about to get real! Cons Sadly, the integration with mails is not good enough, also the impossibility to paste images in a comment, that is a big problem for us, we handle a lot of graphical information as aid for diagnosing and bug-catching. I don't like the mobile app as well, it is so confusing to me and not powerful as the browser edition. Kanban metrics are decent though somewhat basic. The ability to alias cards in multiple locations is terrific. Cons Still needs a lot of features to make it really competitive for Kanban: swim lanes, multi-column limits, better analytics that can differentiate work states from queues, associating policies with backlogs/boards/columns, naming colors, blocking of cards. September 26, 2017 4.0 This is our team collaboration software and it becomes easy for our Sprint planning for monthly tasks and projects. Pros The ability to create boards for each month's Sprint planning helps in organizing as well as giving our team an overall few of what tasks and projects are assigned to each member by cards. For each card, it is easy to track the progress and updates from each team member and this helps in weekly & monthly meetings. Notification alerts helps in getting important updates. Cons Few minor UI fixes can improve the software. One thing I would like to see improvement is that for a particular board having lots of cards, the horizontal scroll bar should be fixed at the browser window level so that it becomes easier for user to view other columns in the same board. Kanban and SCRUM boards are used as the main work planning methods. There is full integration with cloud services Dropbox and Google Drive. Cons The main disadvantage of the Favro platform is that when you add a large number of participants to one project, the overall system performance is noticeably reduced. However, I don't think I would pay to use this software when Trello is almost as good for free. Pros Favro is great, it's very similar in design and UX to Trello expect it has additional features built into paid versions. Assigning cards, tasks, and deadlines to people is easier than Trello. Cons Much more expensive than Trello, and doesn't have a free version of the product. Premium features may not be worth the cost when Trello can do most of what Favro can do for free. We are quite happy about it, feels faster and smooth. You can manage your tasks and boards quite easily. Pros Favro is a task manager basically, you create a group of people who will manage the tasks, create swimlanes and tasks to fill them, so you can keep track of them. Think of it of something like youtrack, but make it prettier. It is very easy to fill and to use on a daily basic. Cons Nothing really, it's an easy to use and fast software. Favro has been fantastic at mapping to the way my team and I work. The apps and integrations allow for all the additional power we need and can be customised to suit each person. I love it! I like that we can assign cards to team members and monitor their progress. Cons I wish there were more options for categorization and organization. We had to create a special category for "Client Name" on each of our cards. Then, we have to manually change that category for every card when we add a new client. We would like to be able to select a group of cards and change custom names and categories to all selected. Also, we would like to be able to just click a button inside a column (not a board) to order all cards in a column by due date (similar to the options in and excel spreadsheet).
