Pros Lattice has been a great tool to help manage the team, have effective communication as a group, and individually, conduct performance reviews, and give the team a greater sense that the company truly cares about their development as employees. Cons I think the thing that is most challenging about Lattice is that many of the feature are great, but the pricing for them outweighs the potential benefit given the size of our organization. The platform is very intuitive, making it easy for both managers and employees to engage with the process. I also like the clear visibility into performance trends, which helps drive better conversations. The integrations with other tools save time, and the customization options mean we can tailor surveys and reviews to our exact needs Cons Some areas can feel a little overwhelming at first, as there are many features to get familiar with. They are continuously rolling out new features, have prioritized AI functionality, and have a really great customer support team to help us with all of our questions along the way. Pros The customization of question templates and review cycles has been such a pro. We've appreciated the ability to customize permission profiles. The user experience and interface are really easy to follow, and their recent AI phone functionality for review writing and search bar questions is a big time-saver. Cons We integrate Lattice with Rippling (our HRIS), and there are some limitations with custom fields for demographic data that will sync between the two systems. Additionally, Lattice doesn't have automated reminders for manual review cycles. Lattice also has REALLY STRONG customer service. I'm also a member of Lattice's Resources for Humans community, which is a fantastic asset of all things People Ops best practice sharing. Lattice's annual Resources for Humans virtual event is also TOP NOTCH. We've used lattice for 4+ years now and it continues to be our go-to tool for all of these reasons. Cons Learning to set up different things in Lattice is not as straightforward and easy. Pros For performance management + employee engagement, their features are super helpful. Reviews, Feedback, 1:1s, and Grow offer a lot of great features to identify, record, and improve performance of each employee. All the features tie into one another so it's really comprehensive. The Engagement feature is great for administering surveys to gather feedback + build action plans, which you can do within the platform as well. They also just rolled out AI in their platform which is pretty cool. Cons Setting up the platform or trying to navigate it is at times confusing and not intuitive - for example, it requires a few extra clicks to get where you want to be, or if you want to change a specific option you may have to upload a spreadsheet instead of there just being a setting, etc. Not the end of the world but like I said can be confusing. Pros 1) Usability: Easy to use for both admin and users. 2) Feedback and Improvement: Unlike some companies where feedback goes into a black hole in the universe, Lattice takes client feedback seriously, and we've seen our input applied to improve and enhance all products. Customer service is also excellent. 3) Customer Service: Although it is a ticketing system, all Livechat Agents and the Customer Care email team are responsive and knowledgeable. They even follow-up to make sure your questions are adequately addressed. 4) User Interface: Easy to navigate Cons We were promised a roll-out for one of the products, but it never happened due to a reorg. However, the product is back on the roadmap, so very excited to see this happen. This is minor, but some products could be a bit more user intuitive. Review Source JA James A. Not being able to do so creates duplicate system management issues to have a consolidated to-do list. 2) The ability document ad hoc meetings in addition to recurring 1:1s, using the 1:1 template and functionality. 3) The ability to more easily manage OKRs, including the ability to sort and make bulk updates. June 11, 2024 4.0 I've only been at my company for a short while, but I implemented Lattice in an old role 4 or 5 years ago. It's been incredible to watch the journey of product development and growth over the years. In general, I've had a really easy time getting help or support where I need it. Pros Lattice sits at the center of many of our management practices. We leverage the Updates feature to create valuable time in 1:1s, which we also manage in Lattice. We also use their Goal and Growth modules to manage OKRs and Individual Development Plans, respectively, allowing us to track and drive conversations between managers and teams. This also creates a ton of transparency for us as an organization. Cons Some of the survey and review administration can be less than intuitive to find or implement. I wish that you could download a report of everyone who is a manager. Some of the customizations abilities when making your own templates are limited as well so you have to get creative.
