Cons Based on feedback from managers not having an overview on 1:1 notes like you would in an excel document that can be beneficial when it comes time to review employee’s performance during EOY cycle. Pros 1) Usability: Easy to use for both admin and users. 2) Feedback and Improvement: Unlike some companies where feedback goes into a black hole in the universe, Lattice takes client feedback seriously, and we've seen our input applied to improve and enhance all products. Customer service is also excellent. 3) Customer Service: Although it is a ticketing system, all Livechat Agents and the Customer Care email team are responsive and knowledgeable. They even follow-up to make sure your questions are adequately addressed. 4) User Interface: Easy to navigate Cons We were promised a roll-out for one of the products, but it never happened due to a reorg. However, the product is back on the roadmap, so very excited to see this happen. This is minor, but some products could be a bit more user intuitive. The steps are pretty straightforward and changes can easily be done. The tool is quite customizable. Reminders can be easily sent, re-opening, and closing the cycle as well. Our employees also find it really easy to use on the user side. May 24, 2022 5.0 Lattice is the management software that really brings something different to the table. It does not "fight" with it's competitors but rather complements them. The human focused aspect of it makes Lattice a great management tool to use along with the others ones and it works really well. Pros The human focused aspect of the software is excellent. It has many tools and they work really well, as a result you can view the different HR aspects of the work proccesses. Cons Because it is a people management platform it can sound not as resourceful as it's competitors. Review Source Steve M. It's great for tracking monthly / yearly goals as well, and is a pretty full featured OKR system if you use that style of goal management. Pros We use Lattice for all our teams to track goals and many teams, like mine, use it for feedback, one on one meetings, and other performance management stuff. Cons Lattice doesn't represent a complete enough HR solution that we can use it standalone. We have to use another program for payroll and I wish that we could do everything in Lattice. It does a great job of discussions and dialog with employees, but it's not a complete solution. Review Source HD Hannah D. Pros I love that lattice has a motivating presence. It easily tracks employee goals and keeps them on track to continue growth. It makes planning goals very easy with its user friendly templates. Cons I have not discovered anything negative about lattice yet. Our entire company uses it for meetings and career track alignment. Review Source James L. Pros Lattice has been a great tool to help manage the team, have effective communication as a group, and individually, conduct performance reviews, and give the team a greater sense that the company truly cares about their development as employees. Cons I think the thing that is most challenging about Lattice is that many of the feature are great, but the pricing for them outweighs the potential benefit given the size of our organization. It's a great tool for managers--makes tracking direct reports activities and growth. The feedback feature also works well. There should be more flexibility with the performance reviews, especially in situations where managers have changed. Pros Track 1 on 1s --it's great to share a space with colleagues and direct reports where we can share ideas and non urgent items to discuss at the next touch point. Cons Doesn't automatically adjust when 1 on 1s are rescheduled. This leads to notifications that are incorrect. I also would like more flexibility with the weekly updates options. They are continuously rolling out new features, have prioritized AI functionality, and have a really great customer support team to help us with all of our questions along the way. Pros The customization of question templates and review cycles has been such a pro. We've appreciated the ability to customize permission profiles. The user experience and interface are really easy to follow, and their recent AI phone functionality for review writing and search bar questions is a big time-saver. Cons We integrate Lattice with Rippling (our HRIS), and there are some limitations with custom fields for demographic data that will sync between the two systems. " April 16, 2025 4.0 I enjoy my overall experience with Lattice. My current job is the first time I've used Lattice and first time I've been introduced to it. Like I mentioned above, I like the prompts it gives you as talking points for your meetings. I also like how it's easy to write notes and comments as your discussing your meeting in real time, so that you can see your notes and your reviewer can also give you feedback. Lattice is good for review meetings and check-ins which is how I primarily use this ap. Pros What I like the most about Lattice is the layout of the website. It has a very clean, easy-to-read setup and makes it easy to maneuver. I use Lattice for my 1-on-1 reviews and check-ins and I enjoy the prompt questions they list out so you have talking points to discuss. Cons My only dislike about Lattice is setting up meetings. Since I am used to using Microsoft Outlook's calendar for all my meeting set-ups, I sometimes get confused when I am unable to link my meeting in Outlook with my meeting in Lattice. It's not a huge issue but it would be more streamlined if my meetings could cross over. Review Source Nazifa Z. Pros I appreciate that our "Praise" channel is integrated within Lattice (or vice versa) - that allows one to document feedback for colleagues and share it with the HR Team while also praising the colleague publicly within the organization. We love it and look forward to adding more functionality into Lattice especially focused on HRIS. Pros Goal management is easy. Performance management is fast and effective. 1:1 functionality is great. Grow module makes it easy to find what is next for our team members. Cons Some reporting aspects of OKRs. I have to export it into Excel and filter it to get the information I need. Feedback and recognition seem to be a bit more subdued than they could be. Challenges with different exchange rates broke our merit cycle. We had to calculate this outside of Lattice. I cannot wait to have group meeting functionality that mimics 1:1s. Lattice also has REALLY STRONG customer service. I'm also a member of Lattice's Resources for Humans community, which is a fantastic asset of all things People Ops best practice sharing. Lattice's annual Resources for Humans virtual event is also TOP NOTCH. Head of People and Talent Operations Used the software for: 1-3 years ### "Lattice Review From a Head of HR" June 26, 2024 5.0 This is now my second company as Head of HR using Lattice. The tool improves tremendously over time while maintaining the same look and no major learning curve with each "version" released. I'm also lucky to benefit from the Resources For Humans website and Slack channel they've created for HR professionals. I'm able to see reviews for things outside of Lattice like HRIS, ATS, and other opinions we look for. Having ~20k HR professionals at your fingertips even for non-Lattice users is so rare. The investment into HR resources really sets Lattice apart and shows they care about their customers (and non-customers too)! Lattice has worked hard to be a leader in HR tooling and it shows. As we demoed competitors, we continuously returned to Lattice as our preferred tool. We were eager to sign and begin our journey. We're now a year in and thriving with it. Pros I like the ease of use of Lattice and the UI/UX. I feel like it's a product everyone can easily navigate and learn. We can see more insights into how our team feels, performs, and functions. It's been a great tool for us. Our marketing team has stated that Lattice is a brand they look to as a leader in overall branding strategy, the look of the tool, and subsequent marketing collateral. Cons I don't think I like anything "least" but there's always room for improvement and new features. I think at times the product roadmap leans heavily into areas we aren't currently using or that fit us. That's the only small con I can call out, it's pretty smooth sailing. The Lattice team is incredible and always available to help troubleshoot, set up and guide us whenever the need arises. Pros The survey feature is a great tool for our company. We use this to gain valuable insights into the sentiments of employees regularly over the year. We also make use of the reviews feature twice a year to conduct our performance feedback cycles. These are wonderful tools for managers who have all the previous feedback, 1:1s, updates and other data from Lattice at hand when completing their performance reviews. Cons I find the data quite difficult to navigate with certain features. Some of the analytics are really amazing, and the info we get from the surveys is really wonderful. However, when it comes to more intricate reporting Lattice doesn't make it easy to find the data I am looking for. For example, figuring out which managers have not yet completed their downwards reviews. It is unfortunate that they didn't implement the HRIS quicker to stop us churning to consolidate our stack. Pros We chose Lattice because of the fantastic integration Lattice had with Slack. Lattice pulse surveys were delivered via slack making this extremely easy for employees to respond to and engagement. As soon as we implemented, our participation exploded and the team were thankful. Lattice UI/UX was brilliant and we also particularly liked their 1 on 1 feature powering high quality 1 on 1s across the business. Cons Unfortunately, Lattice was only performance management and we really wanted to consolidate our tools into a more vertically integrated stack. Lattice didn't have an HRIS capability at the time which meant we needed to continue using BambooHR and this added cost and complexity to our people stack at the time. They also had a very limited response capability to pulse which is something we really missed after moving from Officevibe.
