Their team of experts really know the product and spend time with you to make sure you become an expert too! Cons Some things aren't perfect. I wish that you could download a report of everyone who is a manager. Some of the customizations abilities when making your own templates are limited as well so you have to get creative. But once they start using the system they enjoy and get value from it. This was particularly obvious during review periods where a lot of the needed information was already available in the goals and one-on-one meetings. Pros Documenting and assisting managers and staff with one on ones. Goal setting options and customization Cons There have been a few custom reports or tweaks that would be nice. Lattice is linked directly to our HRIS and we can not make changes in Lattice that are not in the HRIS - Example, if we wanted a person to be a shared manager or supervisor in Lattice, but did not want to make that change in HRIS. Our company uses this in every department and I think most employees appreciate that the firm is committed to helping employees progress toward personal, professional, and lifestyle goals. Pros I really like knowing where my performance is at and where there's room to improve/grow. It's easy to keep ongoing 1 on 1 conversation with my manager tracked and managed in the system. I also really appreciate the opportunity to set personal goals that align with team initiatives and to reflect on past goals to see how I am progressing. We use the system for personal goals, team goals, and OKRs, and for career development! It's simple to use and effective when the entire team buys into using the tools. Cons There is a lot of functionality, so it could be confusing to some users at first. At our firm the People Mgmt team had built out how-to guides and walkthroughs on how to optimize our individual profiles. Lattice also has a lot of documentation, so you'll be able to learn even if you feel confused or stuck with the various features/functionality of the system. Review Source Andrei P. May 20, 2022 5.0 Lattice is the management software that really brings something different to the table. It does not "fight" with it's competitors but rather complements them. The human focused aspect of it makes Lattice a great management tool to use along with the others ones and it works really well. Pros The human focused aspect of the software is excellent. It has many tools and they work really well, as a result you can view the different HR aspects of the work proccesses. Cons Because it is a people management platform it can sound not as resourceful as it's competitors. It's great for tracking monthly / yearly goals as well, and is a pretty full featured OKR system if you use that style of goal management. Pros We use Lattice for all our teams to track goals and many teams, like mine, use it for feedback, one on one meetings, and other performance management stuff. Cons Lattice doesn't represent a complete enough HR solution that we can use it standalone. We have to use another program for payroll and I wish that we could do everything in Lattice. It does a great job of discussions and dialog with employees, but it's not a complete solution. This one is the best so far. We have been able to track down our personal and team OKR, and update them as we go : it helps us stay in track. We also use it to get a better human management: getting to know each other to really admin things. They also have a very good customer service AND their webinars are amazing. We are very happy users! Pros Love that everything is in one place. Writing reviews is so easy if employees use all the features on a regular basis: updates, 1:1, goals Cons There are some suggestions we have given on features- mostly on Lattice Goals. I wish some things could be added piecemeal. Grow is not widely used in our company, but for those that use it, we won't want them to lose it. It's be nice to be able to add it to those that want it. Then you can chekc the organzation chart with the information got it from Namely (basic information about job position, manager and department).The review process is very accurate, because you can deploy it as your convenience and launch and assign it to each department. Then, you can follow the advance and send reminders. As it's sync with Slack, you can see the notifications there. Pros Is very easy to manage. You can write your performance review cycle, apply it to each team and ask for the answers. Also, integrated with slack, is easy to notify all the employees about answer surveys, own review or peer review. Cons It's only for this purpose. I feel as though it’s a really quick and easy way to boost morale for folks. We have ours integrated with slack, which makes it easier than having to switch between apps. I also like that it’s just really straightforward and most features are easy to use. Cons I feel like some of my old review cycles get left on my homepage and it can be confusing during a new review cycle. My direct reports already love it and are more engaged in our 1:1s because they have just as much ability to control the agenda. 1:1s have become more of a collaborative 2-way conversation, as they're meant to be. The creator's of Lattice have put a lot of thought into these critical types of interactions and it shows! Pros I love everything about the 1:1s feature within Lattice. It is so easy to set up custom recurring agendas, and copy over agenda items from my team's weekly updates. It is very intuitive and easy to learn. I also love the "recommended for you" items in 1:1s. It helps me to guide the conversation, if need be. It's so easy to get an accurate pulse on how my team is doing with the "Updates" feature. And it works great going the other way too — I can easily add agenda items to the next 1:1 I have with my director. Cons So far I have been very impressed. Everything is so user-friendly and intuitive that it is difficult to find something I don't like about this software.
