We are happy you are finding the tutorials and recipes useful. Have you tried clicking the ingredients in the recipe and selecting the option "rename food"? This should be available when editing a recipe, and it can allow you to simplify the ingredients. It's true that there is a section of the software where you cannot easily edit this (when you add a recipe directly from the database to the meal plan). We are going to add the option to edit the ingredient names there soon. In the meantime, there are a few workarounds and options like the one mentioned above. Overall, it has been easy to learn and use. Some features are more relevant to me than others. I like that I can send my clients' forms in advance and check to see if they have completed them or not. Initially, I tried to use it for client notes but wasn't fond of the format, but it has since improved and I will be utilizing more of the updated features. Cons I currently have a 3-day food recall questionnaire/form that I use with my clients. However, in order to analyze the information, I have to go to the Meal Plan feature and reenter the information. It would be better/more helpful if there was a food recall that could be sent to clients and have the software automatically analyze the recall, with the option of letting the client view or not view the generated report. This would be similar to the way the Meal Plan feature is currently set up. As it stands now, it's double work. The format of the reports generated could also be improved. Currently, it just looks like you copy and paste information and doesn't look very professional, so I normally create my own reports, which are not saved to using this software. Pros As a web developer I am very particular about function and user-friendly interface and this software has both. It is intuitive and simple to use and maintain. The food bank is extremely extensive and contains many brands which makes populating the plans very quick. Customer service is excellent and fast which is great as so often with software and applications response takes a long time, if ever! Very happy I made the switch to using this software for my business. Cons Being able to modify and brand the theme to a greater extent would be very appreciated. Customising the layout/font/what content you want to add (especially the headers such as 'Practitioner' etc.) for export would be great and much more professional. Exporting to contain to a certain number of pages etc. I would like to see the price dropped slightly for the 'Basic' package or an option to use less functionality for a lesser price. I love that I can use templates for questionnaires as well as tweak them or create my own and easily send them to my clients. July 23, 2022 5.0 Overall, I really like NutriAdmin as it is more tailored to my profession. Pros I like that I am able to customize my forms to better fit my practice. I like the layout of all of my patient files. I like how easy it is to send my forms to new patients. Cons I don't like that there isn't an easy "follow-up" button for continued visits foe the same client. I don't only see a client once. I see many weekly and it would be easier just to go to their "file" and have a follow-up link to click where I can date it and write the note. Being able to pay for a whole year at once helped me to be able to use the software for work and that is one reason I chose it above others. And you get a discount by paying for the whole year! Pros I really needed the HIPPA compliance guarantee on every aspect of this software. I love that it syncs with my Google calendar and gives me reminders. I use it mostly for the intake forms. Creating the forms on this software was easier than others that I have used. I also liked that fact that clients do not need to download an app to meet with me or use the forms. Cons Even though it was easier, building the forms took a lot of time. I would have loved a feature to translate into Spanish as I had to do that my hand and it was time consuming. Affordable and excellent support. Pros Most products I used, is either strong as a CRM system for nutrition, but lacks on the meal planning. Nutriadmin is strong on both and highly customizable. Cons I would have liked the ability to edit food items as they are entered into the menu. For example, if you add Feta, crumbled, reduced fat, it has the brand and added information on the same line. This confuses clients and I usually just remove that additional info. This is not possible unless you recreate the food and change the name. Regarding the "editing food as it's added", although we don't have that exact feature yet, one thing you can do that can help is to create meal presets and recipes for foods you use often. If you create a meal preset, you can customize the name and group common ingredients together. The other enjoyable benefits were the semi-automation options for questionnaire submission and adding your own recipes with just a URL. Pros The features I enjoy using most with NutriAdmin are the meal planning and recipe section. I really loved the way that you can just enter the recipe URL and presto it adds it into your list of recipes with the nutrient content. Another feature I use with every meal plan creation is the macro and micronutrient content. The meal plans are more accurate and can be adjusted accordingly to each and every client's individual needs. Also integrating the widget on my website was super easy, even for a non-tech person like me ! Cons I feel like the autogenerated meal plans could be improved. A large number of the meals in the autogenerated meal plans were repeated over and over again if you chose a 7-day option. Meal plans have always been something that clients ask me for and it takes a tremendous amount of time and thought to create one. Thanks to NutriAdmin's meal planning feature, I'm able to create custom meal plans that either incorporate personalized recipes or a general plan that accomodates macros and calories. I also like that emails are sent to confirm appointments and anytime something is changed with an appointment. Cons I don't like that there's no billing feature. I would love for there to be a quick way to bill without having to use an outside program. I also wish that there would be more functionality to confirm appoointments more than just an email. I'd love it if clients could click to confirm or text back so I know they're coming to the appointment. I just wanted to mention we do have a billing system with Stripe, although perhaps you meant you do not want to use a third party integration for billing. Regarding appointment confirmation, have you seen the appointment slots functionality? This lets clients choose appointment times, so perhaps it can help. You can create an invoice in stripe if you have synced with NutriAdmin by logging in directly to the stripe dashboard.
