### "QuickBooks Time- Accurate Time Tracking = Faster, more Accurate Payroll."

March 10, 2026

5.0

QuickBooks Time is a user-friendly, very powerful, and reliable way to track employee time and integrates well with other payroll systems. The mobile app functionality allows employees to clock in and out easily as well as checking and managing their schedule.

Pros

QuickBooks was easy to access and works well with other apps as well. For all that it offers, it is really value for money. It helps companies to track down time and save on payroll. It tracks accurate timesheets, hence a more accurate payroll, and invoices for accountants.

Cons

There is no bad side that I encountered while using QuickBooks. It helps with team management, has great customer support, and quick availability of customer support. For small businesses that do not take full use of all the functionality of QuickBooks Time, they might need to negotiate the price so it is not too much.

### "For small medium size business less than three people team"

March 25, 2026

4.0

Overall, QuickBooks is great for businesses and personal use; however, one has to know that there is a steep learning curve, and it will take you anywhere between an hour to four hours to get acquainted with the software. There's also the part where there isn't much guidance or walk-throughs. The software can become very tedious at times, and finding ways to generate reports can also get challenging. There's also the cost; the value for its money is quite steep if you're a small organization; however, if you are a large organization, you can allocate someone, and the customer support would be more than happy to help you. I did find in my own experience, as I am a single team, that the employment management tool wasn't necessarily needed for me and that I wasn't taking full advantage of the software as I wanted to, so I made a transition to a software that was cheaper Simplifi By Quicken then it could be more easily accessible to my needs.

Pros

The software is very robust, and there are a lot of different features that can be utilized to invoice people, track your finances, and be able to get an inside look at your business and your own personal finances. I love that they have multiple ways to pay, reporting, for example, like your cash flow. There are also a lot of ways to report taxes, and their application on iOS is pretty cool and great to look at but can be challenging to navigate at times too.

Cons

The learning curve was very steep in order to be able to utilize the software properly, and additionally, they didn't provide many classes or learning materials that I could see. It just cost me to feel like I needed to go out of my way to learn it, and by the time I was learning, I was getting frustrated because the information I was absorbing was fragmented.

Reason for choosing QuickBooks Time

It was the industry standard and we also kept seeing a lot of advertisement when we were driving in LA as well as the clients have mentioned that other people were using the software so they wanted to use it as well

Ultimate function was the cost of the software and the lack of having a personal personnel or staff to manage the software consistently day-to-day. I wish there had been more training or guidance on how one person team can utilize the offer. I would've kept it for myself and for my clients.

### "Easy to use, easy to keep track of PTO"

May 1, 2026

5.0

It is really easy to use and easy to take time off. i like that you can see how much time off you have and plan for the future.

Pros

I like that you can have options for logging your time. I personally like the manual add time so you can just put your total hours. but if you want you can physically clock in and out

Cons

i dont like that when you are on the app you can log in but the "class" option doesnt always get carried over. we have multiple clinics so we need to put in a certain location but unless you do it every time then it wont do it on its own. i wish it would auto assign to one clinic if you are in only one clinic in a company with multiple clinics

### "Hmmmm Quickbooks ?"

February 27, 2026

2.0

Well, my experience was not very good. I tried diligently to use it. It became confusing and because I had no knowledge of how quick book works. I kept reaching out for Customer Support that Customer Support was not very helpful at all. Often times they didn’t even show up for the calls that were set. Then when they did, it was outsourced to understanding the communication was very difficult.

Pros

I like how it connected to my bank and I could see my entries that way, and I liked the fact that everything was easily identifiable on the app

Cons

I liked Lee Lee, the fact that integrating it with payables, receivables, job descriptions, and invoices was very very complicated.

### "User friendly and organized "

April 16, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks Time has been very positive. It provides a reliable and organized way to manage employee time tracking, especially for teams that need structure, accountability, and integration with payroll systems. While there is a bit of a learning curve for more advanced features, the day to day usability is strong and it works well for managing time tracking efficiently

Pros

QuickBooks Time has been easy to use overall and makes tracking employee hours straightforward and organized. I like how simple it is to edit, review, and manage time entries without things feeling cluttered. The system is customizable, which helps fit different workflows within a property management environment. It also keeps everything centralized so it is easy to stay on top of scheduling and time tracking in one place. The mobile app functionality is helpful for teams in the field, and GPS tracking and time stamping add an extra layer of accuracy and accountability. Integration with QuickBooks products is also a major advantage for payroll and accounting workflows.

Cons

At times, the system can feel a bit complex when setting up more advanced features or managing permissions across multiple users. The cost can also be higher compared to simpler time tracking tools, especially for smaller teams. Occasionally, syncing delays or minor glitches can occur, particularly with mobile updates or integrations.

### "Quick Books Time"

April 9, 2026

The service professionals are knowledgeable, and the program itself is very user friendly. I would like the training documents to be a little more comprehensive.

Pros

QBT is user friendly. I like to pull reports from the hours worked by customer feature. This is helpful in creating other valuable reports. There are not many frills in this department. You get the basics.

Cons

Errors are difficult to fix. Duplicate accounts that are created from a change in QB. Even the slightest alteration of an account on QB will create a duplicate in QBT. This can often lead to hours being reported in 2 customers, creating a need to fix manually.

Really like that it is easy to use and it has multiple access to accounts. But not a fan of chat feed back.

Pros

customer support is fantastic with answering all your question, the app is very easy to use. We are able to have 2 or more users with access.

Cons

Communication through chats are not a favorite of mine. it is easier for me to resolve problem speaking to someone direct. Pricing is quite high

### "A Reliable and Efficient Time-Tracking Solution"

March 9, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with QuickBooks Time has been very positive. It has made tracking employee hours, managing schedules, and keeping payroll organized much easier and more efficient. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and helps streamline everyday operations without adding unnecessary complexity. While there can be a bit of a learning curve with some of the more advanced features, the overall functionality and time-saving benefits have made it a valuable tool for staying organized and improving workflow.

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Time was how easy it made time tracking for the whole team. The interface is intuitive, simple to navigate, and takes very little training to get people up and running. It made clocking in and out, tracking hours, and reviewing timesheets feel seamless instead of tedious. I also really appreciated how well it helped with accountability and visibility across projects, which made payroll and scheduling much more efficient. Overall, it saved time, reduced errors, and made day-to-day operations feel much more organized.

Cons

One small downside is that some features can take a little time to fully learn, especially when setting up more detailed tracking or admin settings. It is very capable, but that also means there can be a slight learning curve at first. Once everything is configured, though, it works smoothly and provides a lot of value.

### "Quick Books Time Usage"

September 3, 2025

5.0

Overall, QuickBooks Time has been a solid upgrade for us. It cuts down on admin work, keeps timesheets accurate, and makes payroll way less stressful. It’s not perfect, but the time saved each week makes it worth it.

Pros

The payroll integration and mobile app. It saves hours of manual work and makes tracking super simple for everyone.

Cons

Initial setup felt a little overwhelming, and some advanced scheduling tools are limited compared to standalone scheduling apps.

### "A Must Have for Managing Teams"

May 29, 2025

5.0

Overall I am very happy with Quickbooks Time. It is one of the best softwares we have used for time tracking, and payroll.

Pros

Quickbooks time allows me to send reminders to my staff to clock in, if they are not clocked in at the start of their shift. I also like that Quickbooks time makes it super easy to approve time off, and approve worked shifts to run payroll.

Cons

I dont like the amount of work it takes to set up a time kiosk for my employees to use. If the computer resets, or updates, or the browser gets shut the kiosk terminates itself, and I have to go reset and reapprove the device to work as a kiosk.

### "A Timely Opinion"

February 25, 2026

5.0

My overall experience is very positive, we transitioned from a different time tracking application and using quickbooks time has given us more value for our investment.

Pros

What I really appreciate about using quickbooks time is that whether me or my team are at a site or out of the office we can track the time that we are working and it eliminates having to document it on paper. It is very friendly for our team to use as well.

Cons

One of the issues that we do come across is that it tends to glitch when we are out in the field and then my workers have to completely close the app and restart it. not sure why that is, but maybe finding a solution for this would boost productivity.

### "Quickbooks Time is on the right track, but missing a few features we needed."

May 12, 2025

5.0

We used Quickbooks Time for many years. Our employees loved that they could track their time and review their time on their own. We only decided to switch to another platform for the capability to link the timesheets to the actual work orders for better productivity reporting and visibility of work order details.

Pros

Quickbooks Time is really easy for our employees to use. It seamlessly syncs with Quickbooks customers, service items and custom fields to allow us to track time against not only customers, but the specific item and task at hand. It was really useful in the reporting capability.

Cons

It would not let us track time against open orders or sync open order details. So although we could use the scheduler to assign our employee's a worklist by customer and items, it wasn't linked to anything in regards to the actual order, leaving us manually printing each work order detail and manually updating changes to work orders. There was no link to the actual work order and time tracking. Our employees could not see customer information either, so they had to call the office several times for missing contact information or rely on the office to communicate with the customer.

I really like it. It is easy to use, and integrates directly into QuickBooks Online Workforce. You are also to able to view paychecks on the Workforce app.

Pros

QuickBooks Time allows me with a few clicks to keep track of all my clients. It is also easily editable if you enter the wrong client, or forget to punch in our out.

Cons

Occasionally, very rarely though, there is a glitch that doesn't allow a person to punch in. It makes you log in all over.

### "Honesty about QBT"

April 3, 2026

2.0

The system was painful to use and navigate through. I was a TSheets user prior to QB purchase and that system was much easier and straightforward.

Pros

The only thing about QB Time that was good was it was integrated with invoicing. This integration made it easy to pull hours directly to sales invoicing.

Cons

The interface was often confusing and not very intuitive. There were times when my employees could not access their timesheets, and they were lost and confused very often.

### "Easy time clock management when used with QB Desktop!"

April 23, 2026

Overall it has been great. Intuit customer service/chat line has been very helpful when there have been glitches.

Pros

We really like how easy it is to integrate QB Time with QB Desktop. It is easy to to sync and transfer time clock data over to QB for payroll

Cons

There is no way to personalize PTO accruals. (ex, employees get 3 more days when they have worked 6 months, an extra 2 days at 12 months, etc... but everything resets at beginining of the year) so this has to be done manually

### "QuickBooks Time misses the mark for accounting firms"

April 13, 2025

2.0

The program meets only the basic requirements for timekeeping. While it tracks time, dividing a single time block among multiple clients for billing purposes requires manual input. There's clear potential but Intuit appears to have missed the mark with this product... at least to their accounting firm market.

Pros

Able to track employee hours just fine and tracks billing hours for clients that are already setup with Intuit products (QBO, Lacerte, PTO, etc.) and any client you've already built a profile within QBO for billing.

Cons

As an accounting firm, our primary use of this product is to track billable hours. However, it is designed primarily for employee time tracking rather than professional billing. It functions well for small businesses managing employee timecards, but lacks the robust features needed by accounting or law firms that bill clients based on time.

### "Quickbooks Review"

November 12, 2025

5.0

I'd say our experience was pretty good. I think our company just outgrew quickbooks and too much data had caused it to crash. The support team was always helpful.

Pros

The use of quickbooks time was super easy to input each week and then also pulling detailed reports for job cost & etc.

Cons

I'd have to say we used Quickbooks for quite some time, when you would input hours into timecard area you had to put separate line items for overtime. Also, if too much data was put in it would cause the system to crash....

### "Not great, but unfortunately, there isn’t anything better out there right now."

October 14, 2025

3.0

You can link it with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and set up employee profiles. It does offer GPS tracking, but there’s a big catch—employees can simply turn off location services after clocking in and turn them back on before clocking out.

Pros

I like that it will link with QBDT and feed the time over, as long as it is working properly. If you need help the customer service is horrible enough to make you switch.

Cons

When TSheets transitioned to QuickBooks Time and customer service moved under the QuickBooks umbrella, the quality really dropped. TSheets had excellent U.S.-based customer support with reps who actually knew the product. Now, with QuickBooks, the customer service reps often don’t have deep product knowledge—they just act as middlemen between us and the back office, which slows everything down and makes getting help much more frustrating.

Very beneficial, it was easy to use, and my employees appreciated its simplicity. We would still be using it if our payroll company didn't have their own native app.

Pros

It tracks the location of employees when they are clocked in, allowing us to further break down the labor totals for specific jobs. This was especially important for determining our profit margins.
