Cons Support is greatly lacking. When you need help with anything more than a basic question that's above level one support, that's where the immediate problems begin. Schedule syncing issues that the phone support representative could see and understand but could not get any actual assistance correcting the issue from anyone else. This is after multiple calls, emails and hours of attempts. Hours show up on only one iPhone and not on the website or any other phone app. Inability to clock in and out or see employee schedules. The only support offered was to completely reset the employees cellphones, which was done twice and still no resolution. Their customer service, GPS Tracking of employees and mobile time entry plus ease of use by employees and the admin staff are an valuable asset to my business! Pros This software is perfect for our on the go team. We can track our technicians, make notes of those extras that always pop up and it is essential for our time and material projects! It is easy for our employees to use on site and even works in different time zones. Can't say enough about this ap. Best off, they have the absolute BEST customer service! Always upbeat and they know their stuff. Rep helped me today get out of a self created jam :-). Cons Reports are definitely a down side... They are full of graphs that are confusing rather than informational. But the main payroll report and approval reports work great that you work with all the time work fine. Pros Quickbooks Time knows how to cater to both small businesses and large companies alike. Since utilizing the platform, workplace time and efficiency has been better since I'm able to see accurate times and hours, so I can tell people when they're slacking. Quickbooks Time is also very user friendly. Cons A couple of things. First, the mobile app isn't as advanced. It should be updated. Also, Quickbooks Time as a platform costs a bit to use. Cons Since QuickBooks bought the product I have twice nearly lost the time data I use to bill my clients. Both times, it took two hours on the phone with tech support and a great deal of frustration before I could access my time data. Thousands of dollars of billables were at stake both times due to your careless software dev. Today, I signed off TSheets/QuickBooks Time for the last time. I won't use your software again. It is an easy to use program that offers business the ability to have your employees punch in and out and records their time, vacation and sick time. They are a low cost program, so for smaller to start up businesses, this program meets the need. Its security function that records photos of the employees punching in and out helps with reducing false punches by other employees. Cons It is a basic program. Best move I could have made. TSheets mobile is sooo much more functional than the ADP app. It is responsive, accurate and easy to use. Great GPS tracking, great for job costing and helping employees track their time to jobs accurately as they switch between jobs throughout the day. Pros Easy to use, functions well. The support is tremendous, they are quick and friendly and helpful. Don't let the Intuit name scare you away, they may be owned by them but they don't run their support like them. They are responsive and knowledgeable and own the issue on the first contact. They also look for and implement improvements to the product continuously and solicit feedback on new features. Our rep was great in solving some mysteries. Cons The reporting could be a little more robust, better formatted and adjustable to preferences. Reason for choosing QuickBooks Time I had some previous experience with TSheets and the program ticked all of the boxes for what we were looking for. It also integrates with Quickbooks. I estimate we have reduced employees time keeping functions by 10-15 minutes a day which results in 10-15 minutes a day more productive time. Cons The vacation tracking or the leave tracking of the employees can be even more improved with more effective sync and interface on both the ends. June 23, 2019 5.0 Pros I love how easy it is to connect TSheets to our QuickBooks account. We were using TSheets with QuickBooks Desktop before and found issues syncing between the two due to the requirement of being in single-user mode while three users in our office all need to be logged in at all times. Since updating to QuickBooks Online, TSheets and QBO talk to each other seamlessly. No one gets booted out of the company file for a sync and all of our customer and employee data stays up to date 24/7. Cons The only thing I wish would change in TSheets is the ability to deactivate a customer/employee or change an customer information like addresses or even notes and have those changes sync to the QuickBooks side. Currently, these changes all needs to happen on the QuickBooks side and synced into TSheets. Also, we keep Equipment Lists for our customers in the QuickBooks Customer Notes and these are currently inaccessible on the TSheets side meaning some of our field technicians need both the TSheets app for time tracking and scheduling as well as the QuickBooks app for looking up notes on customers on their phones.
