It doesnt have many bugs. But my most favorite part is the customer service! Your people are thorough, patient and dont waste my time. Sometimes I have to wait on hold before someone comes but usually it is a very short wait time. With one exception, I always get my issue resolved on the first phone call. The issue that is open is currently being worked on and I get status updates and communications as to progress on the resolution. Cons The address is often not correct, it picks up surrounding addresses. The updates in the time on the GPS lag. Reason for choosing QuickBooks Time they sinc with Qbooks. Review Source JP John P. Pros The integration with QB and the web interface for timekeeping. Cons YOU HAVE TO BE THE QB ADMIN TO SYNCH TSHEETS TO QB FOR PAYROLL!!! AND YOU HAVE TO BE IN SINGLE USER. SINGLE USER -QB ADMIN!! This is absurd. If a payroll admin or bookkeeper cannot sync TSheets timekeeping with QB after a PM or admin has approved them, then what is the value? Also the payroll item mapping is a little complicated interface and not the right defaults. When setting up a new customer, the default does not need to be all employees, and it should especially inherit privileges from its parent customer parent. IT ASLO does not make sense that for DCAA-compliant, you cannot log in or out via phone. Only desktop. No longer can they pad their hours. One employee even quit because he said he was "losing $100/week" by having to clock in through the app. He tried to beat the system by clocking in through the website, but I told him it had to be through the app, so he quit. Pros I love the ability to easily report how many hours I have at a job. this helps tremendously with invoicing and with future estimating of similar scopes of work. I also like to know when my employees are arriving on job sites and when they are leaving. Cons Only a month at a time shows on the screen. I wish you could just scroll down when looking at data for say the last week of a month and the first week of another. Review Source JB Jana B. I usually deal with Nathan, he always helps me with in seconds. I only can recommend him. Pros It is easy to handle, understand and accessible form anywhere. My colleagues travel through the United States each day and we never experienced any issue. The reporting part is great, you can see how much time each colleague uses for which activity. December 7, 2022 5.0 it has gone well, no real complaints besides the difficulty we have logging on in poor service but that isn't the fault of the app. Pros I love the ease my employees have logging on and the reports I am able to generate. Easy to use with nice features. Cons Now that QB owns them, has significant errors in every sync up. Random changes to setup features. Problem solving with the tsheet team used to be quick and efficient. Now takes forever to get someone by phone and they do not solve the problems. I needed web connector assistance and executive was very helpful. He knew his product and asked questions that assisted me to resolution. He sought extra assistance from a co-worker and didn't give up until my system was operational once again. He's an asset to the team! Thanks! Pros Integration with QB, DCAA compliant, ease of use and training with new employees. Cons None at this time. Most recently CSR helped me with a question of mine through the chat. He quickly and efficiently led me to the right spot to correct my issue. I have called TSheets customer service several times and they are always very patient which is something I value in a company. Thank you, team! Pros Makes workers accountable . We can see where our team are at any time. Overtime and ordinary hours calculated and adjustable makes for quick payroll. Can now see when a job is running overtime and how many hours are actually being taken to complete tasks. Helping us to quote so we include collection of materials, prep before going to site etc,.... heightened awareness of the extra we need to include going forward Cons It does occasionally glitch out and switch staff off?? but they write a quick note when this happens and it is easily sorted. Workers logging on from android tablets can be hard to 'see' - don't come through when you click into who's working BUT at end of day when you look at their time sheet the map is there.... small glitch? Having some trouble linking to xero payroll- but I haven't actually investigated this yet so can't blame anything- just need to tweak it I am sure. For the moment I am manually taking totals to xero - which is a short term set back. Would like to be able to to switch lunch breaks on for some and off for other staff - depending on their project - currently it is a company rule ....would be nice if we could override and select manual individualization for this feature Review Source LF Lynn F. December 12, 2018 5.0 Overall - I'd recommend this system to anyone who has field employees and wants to track them more accurately. Pros TSheets has really stepped up their game. It does so much more now that it did in the past. I like features where you know exactly what your employees are doing throughout the day. Match it to paper reports for perfection in accurate information. Cons Employees can still figure out how to "trick" the system. I'd recommend follow up good ol' past time paper work - field budget reports to follow up and see if they match. If so... you have an honest crew. If not, more supervisor training will be needed. The hours are submitted by the employee and the owner goes in an approves the reports and then I run the payroll each week. It's quick, simple, accurate and reliable. Pros I love that I can login and print out payroll reports quickly an easily. I have a breakdown of regular hours and overtime hours for each employee and can process my payroll reports with efficiency. Cons I haven't found any reason to not like this software. It was great because you can go on the clock and sign off just using your phone. The manager/owner of the account could look at it at It made it so much easier to account for our time. TSheets allows us to stay compliant. It is also easy to use. I love that I'm their favorite client. At least that's what the recording says when you are on hold. Most questions can be answered via the chat feature within the software itself. If it's a really complicated question then you can call in and know that you will get an answer rather quickly. Pros The software allows you to change your time from job to job. This way employees don't have to remember or write down how long they worked on a job. TSheets will which it for you. It integrates with Quickbooks very well. Cons There was a learning curve of how to go in a adjust time. Once you learn in it, it's easy. It integrates with Quickbooks, allows Approvals on the time entry, has an Export to QuickBooks and payroll is a BREEZE! Now we'll be saving money due to being able to cut 2 other inferior products loose. Pros EASY to use, easy to learn, fully loaded product. Even with as intuitive as this product is, i needed some reminders of some of the things I'd discovered when first testing the product. I opened my Chat window and VERY easily got the answers I was after. Huge props to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. Support is extremely friendly, professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. Literally the best support team I've ever come across in my 24 years in IT. It's allowing us to reach more customers than we have been able to in the past by helping us farther away from our head office. Pros Easy to use . Training field staff to manage our team has never been easier. Cons We need to be able to have fixed time for some jobs. Tsheets does not allow us to program a set time that would notify a worker that the time on the job is up. extra time that is clocked in or clocked out on a job needs to be adjusted by worker or an administrator which takes up more time managing jobs. Would like to see fixed time for jobs transferred to the employees time card so that we can spend less time making adjustments if someone forgets to clock out or clocks out ten minutes after a job is finished.
