For the simple feature of tracking hours, it worked great. The app was easy to use to clock in and out on your phone, and you could see your weekly view or biweekly view of hours worked to keep track. Cons I didn't like that there wasn't a feature to track time easily for different projects. There was a tab to enter different "jobs" but something where you could see the breakdown of your day by projects or tasks on the pie chart would be a nice feature to add! Review Source MB Megan B. She was extremely helpful and will pass on my suggestion. I was also given work arounds for the mean time. Love the chat feature and the customer service is phenomenal. Pros Integrates with QB, allows us to see employee locations on the job, and allows us the tools to measure waste and efficiency. Before Tsheets we were keeping timesheets on excel logs. I will never go back to the old method again. Tsheets has created a much better time keeping program for our company of 20 people Cons Wish there were more permissions for me to delegate certain responsibilities to different employees. October 9, 2018 5.0 Tsheet is definitely worth its price and more so with the various features it offers. I look forward to seeing what is added in the future but am happy as is with it. Pros Some tasks such as 'breaks' can be automated as well as obtaining reports and connecting to quickbooks, of which all are quick, easy, and simple to set up. Other platforms weren't even close to the performance of this platform. Cons Settings up some things such as vacation time can take some digging through the menus to set up. In general, users have multiple components to plan and schedule their time, such as Projects, Meetings, Reports and Schedules. Hence, it can be considered that this Quickbooks tool is very useful to those multiple tasks. Cons As a user, I believe it should improve time tracking timesheet section in more comfortable way. We've used it for over a year and it's worked very well for us. Our employees who work out-of-state use the mobile app to clock in and out. Pros I love how adjustable the program is. I can set the preferences to allow employees to record lump sums of hours or require them to clock in and out. Cons The vacation request process is a little bland. And managers receive a separate email for each day being requested off instead of a single email with the entire span of days off, which is cumbersome and confusing. Review Source SS Shala S. Pros Ease of use and great customer support. Their customer service is always friendly and quick to help answer questions. Very pleased with their service. Cons PTO accruals are manual if you have a workforce that clocks in and out on a kiosk with no access to a computer for personal log in. There is not a way to submit PTO through the kiosk currently, so more manual for HR to enter time off requests for each employee. The cost of the software is also reasonable. Cons There are occasional bugs in the system, ie certain pages won't load for an hour, but then will sort itself out. Can be quite a nuisance. It has eliminated all the papers floating around in my truck Each employee keeps track of their hours on customers jobs, also entering what they did and billable items used to complete the job. It has turned my billing dread into a pleasant experience. Customer service is AMAZING. They walked me through set up. I have called them when I have been confused, they are always pleasant and very helpful. I really love the live chat aspect. Cons hmmm. I don't really have anything bad to say. Pros This software is easy to use, the support team are fantastic and always available to help and listen to feedback. There are a lot of features that are sure to suit your needs. Cons Honestly the software is great, it would be good to see maybe a tiered level of pricing, i found it to be packed full of features that i just don't have the need for in my small business. This said you can only make adjustments one piece at a time. For example, if a staff member forgets to clock out, management goes into the time sheet slider sections and to remove the messed up time you must erase each 3 hour increments (if auto break is enabled) this is time consuming for new users as there are many mess-ups in the beginning. Pros Simple to figure out and get things moving. The Tsheets layout is very good and it is easy to find what you need. Functionality as well makes this a simple product to figure out what you need to do to get up and running. Cons There are some areas that can use improvement mainly this has to be with the management abilities and correcting timesheets. Review Source AS Adam S. After spending quite a bit of time on our own and with their support team over a period of weeks, I have ultimately arrived at the frustrating place that despite many good features, the service is overall way too cumbersome and difficult to efficiently use. I can see how it may be a much better fit for other types of businesses but in our landscaping business we feel like it is not such a good fit. The crux of the problem lies in the way it handles invoicing and ability to bill customers. The focus of the data here seems to be too tied to the individual employees hours and not enough on how this translates to billing hours to customers. Essentially this is a glorified time clock app with optional scheduling. That's fine but I was hoping this was a robust but simple solution that handled time tracking for employees, scheduling but also importantly, turning all that data into easy and automatic invoicing. As it stands there are free and easier apps to use for employee time clocks and scheduling and our current system of old fashioned paper project/client time sheets to invoices, is much faster and easier than T sheets. Hopefully that's something they can address! I may be willing to give it another try. Many of the features seem a bit like a work in progress. Pros the cloud based ability to have all our company data in one place. Cons non intuitive not user friendly and difficult and tedious path to invoicing from T sheets data. Director Finance and HR Food & Beverages Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "good process, missing feature" June 17, 2019 3.0 great customer support Pros streamlined process for scheduling and payroll Cons The one piece that is still a frustration for the team is the inability to show a scheduled cost easily when building schedules for upcoming weeks. When we signed up it was presented that this was a customer build to have a report created, but we cannot justify this expense for what should be a feature included. There are two ways we would love to see this happen: 1. In the scheduling tool, add a column next to the total hours for the week, that multiplies the hours by the individuals payrate and then gives a total schedule cost at the bottom. or 2. A additional column in the scheduled vs worked report that shows the hours x pay rate. This isn't a big ask and we truly feel that is a feature that will elevate Tsheets and thus should not be a customer build and cost to 1 customer. Long term (beyond this year) this may be the difference between us continuing to use Tsheets and looking at other options. Review Source CV Carleen V. I have introduced TSheets to two clients and they have commented on how easy it was to have employees learn how to clock in/out and they like being able to customize items down to the employee level - like giving mobile access to a handful of employees or allowing only a few the ability to edit their timesheet. Just an amazingly easy software to use and customer support is very friendly and always helpful. Pros Easy to use and easy to get support instantly through online chat.
